They act like they are begrudgingly doing you a favor by scheduling appointments and doing their job. It is as if you, the patient, are bothering them by calling for appointments. They are like this in person and on the phone. I am sick of being treated very poorly by these nasty hateful support personnel. Patients should not be subjected to such disrespect by these MCV employees in order to get assistance. Cant wait to find another doctor

She has no sense of doctor-patient cordiality/manners. She's not very friendly at all and seems very detached from and disinterested in her patients. I really did not like the way I was treated. It's hard to verbalize, but you'll know exactly what I mean if you choose to see her. That's exactly how my experience was--people told me about her and I couldn't understand what they meant, but when I saw her the first time, it all made sense. Her nurses are downright rude to top off her complete lack of emotion or genuineness. I've heard that, despite the negatives I mentioned, she knows her stuff, but she's not what I'm looking for. She's a bit too cold for me.

I have several chronic medical conditions and have been going to Patient First which isn't the best for someone like me. I was looking for someone who could give me all my prescriptions etc. Dr. Cella spent about an hour with me - she talked to me, took a full history, and I got a physical with lots of extra bloodwork because she wanted to test my vitamin d levels as well as screen me for celiac disease based on what my symptoms are. She was really nice and I walked out with 2 prescriptions for my insomnia and my anxiety disorder, as well as 2 referrals for an allergist and a dermatologist. Her office even made the appt for me for the dermatologist before I left. I'm excited to find a good PCP. The office is located behind JW hospital in the medical office park.

I explained to them that it was their practice that schedule the appt and already had her insurance information, why didn't someone notice this and call earlier to cancel or tell us they don't take the insurance. The office staff was not nice about it and told me well the doctor needs to get paid. Insurance was united healthcare Medicare advantage plan. They take the Medicare part but not the advantage or united healthcare.
