This was my first visit to this barbershop. I can defitnely see why they call it a lounge because it has a pool table, music, and plenty of seating. Alena did a fantastic job on my haircut, shave, etc. She asked another person to come check out her awesome work and he made sure my haircut was 110% perfect. Me being inexperienced with barbers in general didn't know that barbers could care so much about one customer. Alena had me in the chair for an hour and a half and was really detailed with her work. I will definitely be coming back. Only downside I saw to the place is that it looks like it needs some interior finishing touches but it doesn't affect the work they do so it's all good. :) read more

If you are looking for a top of the line barber shop experience, there is none better than this one. I got there there was a bit of a wait, mainly because the barbers that were there were very critical in the detail of the peoples hair that they were working on. They also offer a pool table, TVs, air hockey table and foosball table for entertainment. Truly a "lounge." The place is CASH ONLY for now which that was a drawback but I get that the card fees plain suck. When I got into the chair, the person who cut my hair was very detailed, very meticulous on making sure everything was evened out and correct. After the cut, they give a facial with the hot towel treatment. That was relaxing and pretty awesome considering I had never gotten one before. He offered a shave and at first I declined, and then a minute later, figured screw it, I'm here, l get it done. Once again extremely detailed in what the barver was doing and did a fantastic job. It cost 25 dollars which I thought that price was low for the service offered so I tipped the man 10 dollars. If you want an amazing old style barber shop experience, this is the place you want. If you want a 5 dollar hair cut, yeah there are plenty of places for that, but this one will give you an amazing experience. read more

Been here a couple times, first time had to wait 2 hours until a barber felt like cutting my hair. Second time I signed my name on the clipboard with the only person that had a opening so I waited an hour or so, finally I get up and asked if i was next, the chick in the front desk tells me that my barber had stepped away for lunch so I would have to wait another 30 min. What a waist of time that was. Sucks because I really wanted to like this place since its local and convenient for me. Seems like they have there clientele lined up and no room for new customers. read more

They knew exactly what to do!! Being a single mom and not really knowing much about haircuts for teenage boys, here they took great care of us and even gave me directions on how to care for my sons hair, definitely recommend and the ambience is super chill, great service and very friendly!! We arrived at 1:30 PM to get a haircut. They said the wait would be 40 minutes we ended up waiting over an hour and a half. We asked if we could come back later that day they said no. We ended up leaving with no haircut just a wasted afternoon. We will never go there again and we will make sure to tell all of our friends,family and community (which we are very involved in) to stay away. All we wanted was a line up 10 min tops. My usual barber was out of town so I decided to give this place a shot. The building is a nice wide open space as soon as I walked in I was greeted and taken to a chair. The person who cut my hair was polite but as soon as I begin to describe what I wanted I could tell she didn't have much experience. I guess she had graduated from barber school a few months prior, so the cut I received wasn't what I expected and she even asked one of the other barbers to come in and help. I know we all have to start somewhere but while that person is building up their skills they should work only on simple cuts. read more

They give good haircuts but have a terrible habit of letting you know they have multiple appointments ahead of you after you've been waiting 40 mins. Only to let you know that it will be another hour before they can get to you. Let your customers know as they walk in the door or at least put up a board with the wait time and appointments on it so I don't waste my time. read more

Been coming to Tony for years. Always takes care of me and his customers. Always gave good advice when I would change my hair styles. I can say from personal experience that he is one of the best if not the best barber out there. Does very clean work and is great with kids haircuts. I moved to the Riverside area about 6 months ago and have been looking for a barber ever since. Well my search is over. I walked in on a Sunday ( I know a barber shop open on a Sunday?). Waited about 20 mins and was in the chair. The vibe and atmosphere is really chill and friendly. The haircut and beard trim were Asim. Carlos does great work. I've spent 20 years doing my own hair and beard, and for the first time tried something new by going to Morgan's barber lounge and I must say they are an A++++++++ shop all the way around and at a great price and excellent service. They treat you like your there only customer. I'll be going to see tony every time I need a clean shave and cut. read more

My husband and I have been into Morgans barber lounge twice in the last week or so and both times when we entered nobody greeted us, after looking a bit confussed one of the barbers finally asked if we needed a haircut, then told us there is a pretty long wait right now and my husband didn't want to wait so we left. The second time we went in we were greeted sooner entered and told to have a seat, that they had a few people ahead of us. There were 2 guys cutting hair and 2 other gentlemen ahead of us. So we waited, And waited, and waited... More guys started coming in, then another barber comes back from lunch and starts eating pizza then he helps the guy before us , the next barber finishes his client and tells my husband the guy that came in a few minutes before him was next because he has an appt!!! We were there for almost an hour so we sat there a few more minutes then my husband said lets go!! They did do a nice job on the haircuts but there customer service is less then desirable. They have a white board on the wall when you walk in and I guess you are supposed to sign in on the board/which nobody told us to do . just not a good experience. We are going to give the barber shop on the other side of the bridge on center St a try, hopefully they have better service and less wait time. read more
