Here's what happened: The coffee shop and barber shop share a small parking area with spots directly in front of each business and a common area in between. I carefully parked in the common area so I wouldn't block either storefront, intentionally leaving the closer spots open for anyone who might need them for mobility reasons. (I also noticed the barber shop had one reserved spot marked "Barbershop Parking Only," which I did not use.) As soon as I got out of my car, a barber walked over from the porch without so much as a hello. In a rude tone, he snapped, "This is barber shop parking only," then turned and walked away--straight to his own car parked directly in front of the coffee shop . I stood there stunned for a second, then just laughed. When he headed back inside the barbershop, I decided I'd only be getting a coffee. There was no way I could comfortably sit for a haircut by him after that interaction. I truly hope whatever he's dealing with improves soon, and I'll keep him in my prayers.
