    Bourbon prawns

This place has everything a bar, pool tables, booth seating, outdoor seating with misters and to top it off great tasting food. The fall of the bone ribs are great just spicy! I ordered the bourbon prawns which is a pasta with shrimp, yummy! We didn't have to wait very long after our orders were placed and the water is great. Mocktails taste amazing! Good place to go any day of the week for events or just dinner. And they even have a kids menu my daughter loved

Solid 5 stars! Food was amazing. We ordered pasta, Asian salad and prosciutto with asparagus. All were tasty. Between the garlic prawns and bolognese, I'd definitely go with the bolognese. Customer service was excellent. We were greeted with a friendly smile and promptly acknowledged as soon as we walked in the door. Jordan, our waitress was so friendly, helpful, attentive and just so happy to serve us. Place was nice. I love the brick walls. Lots of parking around the area. I highly recommend this place.

Came on a Tuesday night during holiday season. Got seated quickly. Interior was dimly lit but very cozy with cute holiday decor. 4/5 bruschetta was tasty! Got the cheese on the side as our friend was vegan and they were generous with the mozzarella. Cheese had an awesome smoky flavor. 3/5 ahi poke nachos. Could've been heavier on the poke and less on the sauce. Chips were light and flaky but I'd prob pass on this next time. 4.5/5 14oz CAB ribeye and garlic smashed potatoes were DELICIOUS! I swapped out the asparagus for balsamic mushrooms which were different but tasty. 3/5 butterscotch crème brûlée. I had high hopes for this! Sadly the sugar layer had a bitter burnt after taste and the strawberries weren't sweet. Bummed. 5/5 service. I wish I caught the servers name but she was absolutely phenomenal. It's so wonderful to get good service these days and she took great care of us. This is usually my go to in Woodland for steak dinners & tonight was no exception. Can't wait to eat the leftovers :)

This place gives bar vibes but with good food. I took the kids and we got to watch football, share some good food, and then head over to the woodland opera house easy peasy. We all shared a few dishes. Looooved the asparagus starter so much. Will definitely be back.

Honestly the food is top shelf. We love the staff, especially the bartender and manager. Both of them pretty much make this place. It is about the people for us. And everyone here is so friendly and happy. I actually do like the bar, restaurant and the Room. I can't wait to rent out the room for an event.

Let's start by saying the gnocchi here was out of this world. Other items were still delicious and packed with flavor. The dessert I would say is an average crème brûlée, but still yummy. Classy place with a cozy, moody vibe.

I wish I took a before picture because the presentation was great. The taste of the salad though was not. I was expecting the chicken temperature to be made hot but its prepared cold. The salad dressing had a weird aftertaste to it also was kind of spicy which did not say on the menu. Service though was good. Server was friendly. I left that whole salad and did not take it to go. As an Asian myself that salad was not Asian approved lol.

I've been to Morgan's on Main on several occasions for department lunches. Personally, it wouldn't have been my first choice. While the location is gorgeous right on Main Street, the food and service have been lackluster. In the past I've had their cheeseburger, tri-tip dip and Cobb salad. My group has shared fried raviolis and baked brie appetizers. The menu selections are pretty limited and really expensive. The Cobb salad was $13.50 and an additional $6 for chicken. When it arrived, it was a lunch sized salad for $19.50. While it was good, it didn't feel like it was a $20 salad. Service has been unimpressive. During our last visit, our server didn't tell us about the lunch specials and we didn't know until we saw another server walk by with it. When we asked, he said that was their lunch special. Had we known, we would have ordered it. When we asked our server why she didn't tell us about, she just gave an insincere apology and served our appetizer. If it was up to me, I would choose another local establishment for our next group outing. Lucky for Morgan's my coworkers like them enough to return.

Happy New Years! First review of the year for my last meal of 2024. A tad late but. Nonetheless! : Yet another place with interesting music, a common factor I am noticing as I peruse the food world. I did not expect to be listening to 34+35 in this restaurant with my grandparents, but no one else noticed besides me and my sister. Amen. We arrived, ordered water with no ice in a very complicated manner (apologies to our server) and quickly decided what we would get for dinner! We started off with the calamari steak strips, which were so soft and yummy. I am a sucker for seafood! I chose the Steak and salad entree and my god. The steak was bomb. It was deliciously juicy and the lemon dressing on the salad complimented the steak so well. I am just meant to be a carnivore! Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal as well. The staff were all very friendly and dressed up for the holiday. We love supporting our small town businesses! Morgan's Mill is my favorite spot in town, so I knew this one would be pretty good too. Going into the New Year full of steak was pretty damn cool. #MeatEater #Carnivore #NewYearNewMe-at

We found out our waitress was on her 4th day working and she literally quit after taking our order. You truly can't make this stuff up. Another server had to come retake our order, and even then things still came out wrong. I asked for no cheese because I'm lactose intolerant, but my burger came with cheese anyway. Out of 7 drinks ordered, 3 were forgotten. One drink specifically requested no sugar on the rim and came out with sugar. I did feel bad for the replacement server. He looked incredibly nervous and was visibly shaking. Despite all the mishaps, we still left him a good tip because it honestly seemed like the whole place was struggling that night.

I contemplated also buying honey but figured the hostess already had us covered with charcuterie, ports, olive oil and balsamic vinegars. I didn't catch the name of the man who helped me out, but he was super knowledgeable. I tasted more than a handful of different meads, ranging from bright and sweet to hoppy, to notes of cardamom and pine, to a thick almost port-like consistency, to a dry one. I also noticed one local brand, Strad Meadery represented as well. This wasn't a formal proper sit-down tasting as I was short on time, compared to when I did the actual honey tasting and they had a UC Davis Honey Flavor & Aroma Tasting Wheel to go along with. Ultimately I ended up purchasing a bottle of limited edition Sky River Chamomile Mead (Puget Sound, WA) and a specialty small-batch Monarch Series bottle of SideTrack Meadery's Celebratory Cyser Apple Mead (California Bay Area). We shared the Cyser which was great, and saving the bottle of Chamomile for a future date. I'll be back soon for lunch or to catch live music on the pollinator garden patio!

Once they opened, we did the honey tasting, and there was an incredible number of honeys that we could taste there were 7 of us and we each tried 14 honeys, 2 nut butters and 2 fruit spreads. I have to say that the tastings are the highlight of this visit because I had no idea what an amazing variety of honey wecultivate here in the Sacramento Valley. Also, my favorite honey was from Hawaii flower that's only grown on the big island... which I had to buy. The honey is insanely expensive, but when you have something that is so unique, it's worth it. After all of that tasting, I thought I was gonna have a diabetic overload, so we went and had our savory lunch. Each one of the seven of us purchased one item and asked for it to be sliced up so that we could all share. I have to say the only item on the menu that I went crazy for was the real Gouda cheese and bacon and peach sandwich. It was absolutely divine. I also really enjoyed the whipped goat cheese with honey although the nectarines on the side should have been sliced up and incorporated so that more bites could contain them. Prices are a little steep, but the atmosphere is lovely. It was a very warm day. We had the misters going. Some people didn't like getting wet, but that's OK. There was other places where you could sit and not get wet. I would definitely come here again with people new to the area to do the tasting that was super fun and I would also like to get a tour of their operation. While they don't actually harvest the honey here they contract with the local, single hive owners and they have an amazing amazing array of honeys. They do all of the packaging injuring of the products here. I was super happy to hear that they partner with the ally in a Sacramento to make their hot honey and some infuse honey's. I love shopping local and this made me super happy farm to forget it's greatest.
