Stopped off at this place on our way to Sacto Airport and was not impressed. Tried ordering a Breakfast Burrito only to be told "we are out of Burritos" (I think they may have meant tortilla shells). Then I order a bacon breakfast sandwich which is made without bacon. They ask if I want them to just give me some bacon to add myself or remake the sandwich with bacon. I chose to have the sandwich remade with bacon and they then proceed to tell me they have no more English muffins to do that. So, we just added the bacon to the premade breakfast sandwich. To top it off, I had ordered an iced tea and when I went back in to ask, if I could get a refill, they said sure, as long as you pay again as we charge full price for refills!!! Who in the hell charges $3-4 dollars for every refill of iced tea? Not that I would be coming back here because I am simply passing through town, but based on this experience, even if I lived in the area, I would never come back to this place. By the way, it was a one star experience, but I gave two stars for the outdoor patio as it is an enjoyable place to sit and dine if you can actually get what you ordered. read more

Stopped by because we were in the area and have been wanting to try this place out. The ambiance is very relaxed and I love the brick interior they have going on. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito, ham and cheese croissant, and classic waffles. For drinks we also ordered an iced vanilla latte and a lavender iced oat milk matcha! The ham and cheese croissant and waffles were delicious and the matcha was a 10/10. Drinks were phenomenal. The chorizo breakfast burrito kind of threw me off- but I am also used to the authentic Mexican chorizo. It has more of a mild flavor but the salsa helped with that. Overall it was a great experience, we will probably be back for drinks at some point! read more

We especially love being greeted by Evan, who has a kind word for everyone and we can tell genuinely cares about the customers. Morgan Mill is a great little spot tucked away on Court Street in Woodland; cozy, cute, and full of potential. We stopped in for brunch and were intrigued by the menu. I ordered a waffle and (what I thought was) a side of bacon. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the bacon would be inside the waffle -- like, baked into it. It was a surprise and not a pleasant one. The texture of mushy bacon inside an otherwise crispy waffle was a total miss for me. Who likes mushy bacon? That said, their Orange Blossom Latte was absolutely delicious. Sweet, fragrant, and perfectly balanced -- easily the highlight of the visit. One small heads-up: it was really cold inside, which made it a little uncomfortable to sit and relax. This was an okay place. To start off with the good, the atmosphere was very nice. Not busy at 8am on Wednesday. The food wasn't horrible. But it also wasn't anything mind blowing. It was around $44 just for 2 coffees and two food items. The waffle tasted like it was frozen. The toast had a good amount of avocado on it and tasted good. In contrast, the staff were very rude and not helpful. It was our first time and we did not feel welcomed. We even thanked the staff after receiving our order and she just looked away. cute little cafe my family and i visited on a saturday afternoon! morgan's mill has plenty of parking, and a lot of outdoor seating. they have a dog-friendly patio that my dog enjoyed! we ordered their vanilla lattes, and they were perfect. i got their strawberry and cream waffle, which might be a seasonal thing as they were advertising valentine's day specials when we went! the waffle was fluffy and a little crispy on the outside, nothing to complain about. i love the vibe of the patio, i like that it's partially covered so we weren't getting burned by the sun too. definitely will return for a slow morning/afternoon! read more

Great coffee shop and peaceful spot. We frequented here when our 2nd child was born, it is close to our home and has a delicious avocado toast with scrambled eggs that my wife and kids love! We add tomatoes and cheese and I have tried their lavender lattes, black coffee, and iced coffee. All good stuff and friendly staff. They have a nice indoor and outdoor seating setup. I miss the goat waffle! They've changed their menu since we last came and my favorite is gone. That's a bummer. The basic waffle with an assortment of toppings is still there, though I wonder if they changed how they cooked it. It was soft and soggy, not crisp at all. My kid only ate half before declining the rest which is unheard of. Tried taking it back to the kitchen hoping they might have a broiler to throw it under but they didn't. We will take it home and try toasting it in the toaster to make it more palatable. I tried a bacon breakfast burrito and it wasn't bad. Smaller than I expected but I kind of dig the panini press smoosh--it added a delightful crunch. Drinks as always are tasty and service was fast. I was here on with my family on 4/11/26, hoping for a nice afternoon treat/ pick me up with little kids. The two staff members were beyond rude. They did not acknowledge us when we walked up to the counter. Gave us a look like what are we doing here. Not even we will be right with you. We waited 5 mins to be helped at the register. No one was in front of is. She didn't even ask what would we like to order. It was bad. I am very made left an automatic 15% tip from the CC machine. Am I usually a Karen? No but for the first time, I left a restaurant getting my yelp review ready. It's Saturday, 9 am and I'm excited to try this new place out. It's super cute outside and my husband and I go in to check it out. Inside is also cute. Then it went downhill. We order the pb, Nutella and bacon waffle. Weird combo to me but he wants to try it. We plan to order that to share and a mocha. I go in deeper to save a table while he orders. There's no one ahead so I assume it'll be quick. I want to say he's longer than five but no more than ten minutes. He goes back to get our waffle and all the condiments are on the side except for the bacon bits? I even asked him if it mentioned that they would be served on the side on the menu to which he responded no. As we're walking out, he lets me know that while I was sitting, he was waiting to be attended and it took longer than he expected considering there were 4-5 people behind the counter and no one ahead of him. No acknowledgment or greeting until after 5 minutes, letting me know he would've appreciated a "give us a sec". An employee finally takes his order but he is stopped, midway through punching in the order by another employee who asks him if he's on the clock. I guess wasn't so she shoed him away mid order. TLDR: the combo of the below average customer service plus high cost, mid quality food led me to leave 2 stars. 1 star included for ambiance. read more

i don't even know where to start. I LOVE MORGANS MILL! Their lattes are always delicious, the food is so yummy and the staff are always AMAZING! I've tried a variety of their drinks as well as their food, and there hasn't been something I don't like! The Matcha lattes are so yummy, I love all their pastries and breakfast options, and man do I love me a good vanilla latte. The seating options and surrounding area is so nice, and give me the perfect place to read a good book or get some work done. The new front covering is great for the summer sun, and the misters were a great addition. It's just a perfect cozy feel, and no other coffee shop will do it like Morgan's for me. Second time here but it's been awhile. This time I ordered a chai which tasted a little diluted. I also found that they had bakery items besides waffles! I ordered a chocolate croissant that was everything I'd hoped for plus extra grease. It was nice and crispy on the outside and warm and tender on the inside but also soaking through the bag it came in and the napkins I wiped my face with and got all over my fingers and lips. The staff was pretty nonchalant as I reserve remembered. I waited for my goodies with a pager that went off when my drink was ready. I had to ask for my croissant. love the decor! I'd been meaning to trek up here after speaking to a tech recruiter who happened to also own this amazingly spacious and quaint work cafe in Woodland. I finally was able to make my way up there after having this on my radar for the past five years on a Sunday this summer and the cafe did not disappoint. There were multiple "rooms" in the cafe, some dark and ambient which was perfect for quiet chatting or casual reading and work, and there were more seats off towards the restrooms with more windows and lighting where there wasn't music where you could laser focus in quiet solitude. I tried a few different seasonal drinks and their pastries and enjoyed everything while hammering out some work stuff and self-studying, time really flew by here as I stayed from late morning well into the afternoon! The outdoor patio seating out front and in the back were excellent too, as they are in the shade for most of the peak times of day. It was especially nice given the summer weather! read more

Morgan's Mill is an eclectic little coffee/sandwich/bistro of sorts that serves coffee, tea, beer, and a limited selection of breakfast burritos and sandwiches. They have Blue Note beer, which is a local brewery. There is a very nice porch and two separate indoor seating areas. The establishment has counter service, which was friendly and efficient. I like the layout and ambiance a lot. I had a breakfast burrito and an Americano. The burrito was very tasty. My Americano was weak and I prefer cream to half-and-half but they don't carry cream. I think that's a miss. Overall, this is a nice place to stop for breakfast. Next time, I'll try it with beer. Recommended. read more

To all the coffee lovers out there, a trip to Woodland, CA is not complete without visiting one of their top-rated coffee shops; this is none other than "Morgan's Mill". Located at the corner of Court St & East St. in the central part of Woodland, this place has been brewing up delicious coffees and espresso drinks dating back to the summer of 2017. After making the quick 20 minute drive from Sacramento, I finally made it here during the late morning of Saturday 6/24/2023 at around 11:50am. The layout, design, and aesthetics of this place are classic, refined, and industrial. To those of you that enjoy a little bit of history, this brick building used to be a rice mill at one point (hence the name, Morgan's "Mill") then later converted to a bookstore. And now as a coffee shop, it utilizes the high ceilings, brick display in every direction, and a lot of vintage furniture to make it look more like a speakeasy bar than a coffee shop. The inside has enough room to offer a ton of special events and live music. And the outside courtyard area is very spacious and inviting. This is the type of place that can get crowded but you won't even notice with how big the patio really is. Their menu offers your basic traditional coffee drinks as well as your standard espresso drinks and teas. But they have a very respectable food menu specializing in a variety of avocado toasts, waffles, and breakfast burritos. Additionally, there is also a dedicated "evening" menu (from 3-7pm) for those that wish to try their charcuterie board (weekends only) as well as beers, wines, and mimosas. The only letdown is that none of these menu items had actual prices on them. It is not a big deal but I at least want to know how much I am going to spend and if the prices are worth it or not. During my first visit, I went with a hot vanilla latte with a warm butter croissant. It was quite busy during my visit but my barista had my latte out in a quick and timely manner. The croissant was also warmed so that every savory bite can be enjoyed to the fullest. Since the weather was a perfect 73°F in late-June, I took full advantage of the outdoor patio. As far as my latte, it was above average but not quite as hot as I like it. No big deal since the presentation with the white ceramic mug and matching saucer looked quite pleasing. All in all, "Morgan's Mill" is a definite must try if you are a coffee aficionado. This is one of two recommended coffee shops in Woodland; the other being "Gallery Coffee" in the heart of downtown. However, this place has very generous hours of operation (being opened from 7am-7pm every day) and extended hours (until 9pm) during Friday evenings in the summer complete with live music/entertainment. With that said and done, i am giving Morgan's Mill an above average four-star Yelp review. read more

Thought I found a gem but was so disappointed in my burrito and beverage. My drink was just warm and very mild (watery?) for hot chocolate. The burrito was underwhelming, small in size and granular with runny eggs, fine ground sausage that was barely detectable and small diced potatoes. I guess I prefer my burrito filling chunkier. They did serve it on a ceramic plate with stainless steel cutlery instead of wrapped in paper or foil with a plastic fork. Maybe I should have ordered the waffles because they smelled and looked really good. They have a nice lounge area and large covered patio. The brick building feels a bit like a warehouse and has a gym (cheerleading) next door with separate and joined entrances. You order and pay at the counter where they hand you a pager that buzzes when your order is ready. My hot chocolate came up first and they asked me to "reset" my pager which would buzz again when my burrito was ready. Great environment to work, study or socialize in a small group. It was a bit chilly where I sat (in the hall at a high table close to the restrooms). The lounge was full and didn't have any seating available. It looked cozier than what was available inside for inside seating and I passed on seating at the tables outside in the cold/rain. read more
