When you do actually manage to find someone on the sales floor to help, it's clear that the last thing they want to do is help you find the right boot from the already limited selection they have. If you are looking for a large selection of quality shoes Morgan's is the place to go. If you expect to be treated or greeted with kindness you will need to go elsewhere. This is the place to go for boots and shoes, no matter what you are looking for! I needed new work shoes (simple black, preferably non-skid, sneaker or workshoe style). It usually takes me forever to find shoes because I have flat feet & need a comfortable arch. Most shoe stores carry a couple styles of things and that is it. This place is in the building that used to be a car dealership, so lots of room for shoes!! The layout is very easy to find styles you are looking for, and plenty of places to sit and try them on. Today I made a visit to exchange 2 pairs of scrub pants. I found a rack of clearance scrubs marked "5.00, clothing may have makeup on them or have been washed but never worn." I found my size and color and picked out several pieces. At the counter the cashier told me that the sale price was on the tag and would not allow me to purchase the scrubs for 5.00 a piece. There was a man with earrings folding my purchase and he walked into the clothing racks, read the sign and removed it. I felt cheated. He should have allowed me to purchase the items for 5.00 and then remove the sign. On another visit to the store a few weeks back I was in line to pay for my items and a lady in black scrubs asked the same man behind the counter with the earrings if they offered a discount to the medical workers, he told the lady no. When she walked off the man stated to the other cashier, "who does she think we are a discount store". The man acted like he was insulted. Working in the healthcare field some uniform stores do offer discounts. So it was not unusual to ask for the discount. Does anyone know of another uniform store nearby? So disappointed in the treatment of my friend who went there to buy shoes. He has a medical condition and is unable to wear a mask. Since we live 40 miles away we called in advance and talked to a store employee to check store hours. Also checked their website which agreed with the employees statement. This business hires employees that treat customers so poorly they would rather shop anywhere else. The employees there will harass, berate, and degrade you while breaking laws! The employees push you out of the door, pretty much. They stand RIGHT in front of you, telling you to leave for a reason that's illegal, and keep stepping towards you so you have to step away. The employee will stand over you and call the police on you if you dont leave immediately as well. The products are 1/3 cheaper elsewhere, they dont back or guarantee their overpriced products so you better hope what you buy has no issues because you're stuck with it. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Great selection and decent prices for their shoes. The Boots are kinda high for the market but the best deals are their Scrubs. If you are in the market for new scrubs I would definitely recommend Morgans. However, avoid the staff as much as you can. I went there a few months ago (Before Covid-19) and was treated poorly by anyone I came into contact with. The floor associates were standing in a circle just talking and ignoring customers. I asked one of them for help finding a certain type of shoe. He turned around with an expression that looked like I interrupted his presidential acceptance speech and just pointed in a general direction and said "they are somewhere over there" then turned back to his colleagues and laughed and continued his conversation. After finding my shoes I proceeded to the registers where there was a long line. They were moving the line quickly and I was soon at the counter. The lady who rang me out never said anything to me except my total. When I presented my payment she looked at it like I was handing her a hand full of poo. She lightly took it from me and swiped it then threw it on the counter like it was going to bite her. She grabbed my receipt and dropped it in the bag then said "Next". I was in shock at the way they acted and to be sure I returned just a few weeks ago and got a similar treatment.
