I bought three nice tomatoes from TMT for $3, and he was willing to bargain with me on other items, seeing as how I was his last customer of the day. I had no need for anything else, so I passed.
He admitted some of the produce was a bit past prime, like the bell peppers, one of which was pretty shriveled. The crookneck squash appeared quite mottled, like it was the end of this year's crop, but the zucchini looked healthy. He was also selling clamshell boxes of cherry tomatoes with "Fikes Family Farms" (Fredericksburg) branding on them, which I thought a bit odd. That made me wonder a bit if TMT was reselling produce from other area farms or if he himself was a direct farm-to-market operation. I didn't ask, and he didn't volunteer.
TMT was also selling package "box of food" deals, which included a pound of ground beef from a nearby cooler. Since I wasn't interested in his offer, I declined. He quickly offered that he had other cuts available, such as ribeye steaks.
He mentioned the William Cannon and Westgate location in front of the former KFC was his Sunday gig, and that he'd had a really slow day in Oak Hill. For some reason, I gathered he might not be back at this location again.
TMT has a small variety of produce, it seems a bit pricey, and you have to check the quality carefully. Otherwise, it seems A-OK to me. I'd have no qualms going back if he remains at this location.
