They are well known as the best Japanese food in the state. I have been here twice so far and each time has been a hit. You can tell how loved this restaurant is by the line that forms, even in the cold weather before they open for dinner! Both their sushi and hibachi are delicious, and that is from somebody that typically isn't a big hibachi fan. I look forward to visiting more often, this place and staff are certainly a win. Went in today for Hibachi! Was greeted and seated right away! Staff is friendly and fast! Checked out the menu as it was a first visit for us! I had the steak & Shrimp w/ fried rice hibachi & husband has the Shrimp and Scallops and fried rice! I had the mushroom soup and he had a salad! I selected the vegetable tempura, fried Shumai, garlic broccoli, and instead of a California roll I subbed for a classic roll. I did not like the garlic sauce on the broccoli, though I was grateful the broccoli was not overcooked. The tempura vegetables were perfectly fried. the sushi roll was OK. It's was all sort of average. My friend got a fried banana for dessert and it came with whipped cream and maraschino cherries, which is not what I would expect after an expensive Japanese dinner. The service was good but a little slow and the restaurant was not busy by any means and that would be my only complaint. My husband and I had a great meal. We drove up and saw a coach bus and got worried. It was 6:15 on a Sat. We sat at the sushi bar and the service was great. The food was timely and delicious. We love to sit at the sushi bar but lately it's getting harder and harder to find a seat, business must be good! When we go out with family, we enjoy the food and entertainment of the hibachi. I've ordered the same thing at this restaurant for the last 5 years. Garlic noodles no seafood extra noodles. I've ordered on Door Dash (when they participated) and in person picking it up. Today I ordered and they gave me some weird cream sauce with no vegetables or anything. It was the completely the wrong order. Been a few different times and have always enjoyed it. Is always delicious. There was some confusion the last time I visited and orders the hibachi grill. When ordered in the past, they have always given me the dinner entrée portion size and the last time I went, there was a miscommunication, especially on the menu between lunch version and entrée version. Make sure to ask your weight staff about portion size. Great ambience, enjoy the little rooms that they offer. Will definitely be going back. read more

This is really. 4.5 stars for the food desert known as Concord NH. Have eaten here 50 or so times since they arrived what seems like 25 years or so ago now. It's perfectly consistent, clean, average pricing and the dishes I've tried have been well executed. Have only been to the hibachi side a couple of times and it's fine, nothing to complain about and the normal interactive routine w flaming onion volcanos etc. Don't hesitate to get a meal here, takeout game is on point too. We have come to this restaurant so many times for the food for the atmosphere for the sushi bar. Sometimes the food is just a small part of what makes this or any restaurant worth coming back. Today was just such an example. You see today was not just another day. It was a day to celebrate the first day--really just a couple hours after my Thai wife became a citizen of the United States. So our server Robert decided to pay for our lunch. That kind of jester was unexpected surprising incredible. He already was such a great server better than most really proud of where he works and what he does thank you so much for making this day such a great start of a new chapter in our lives. Food was good, but unfortunately they made the cardinal sin of serving raw (or not thoroughly cooked) chicken to the customers behind us. YUK!!!!! I tell you, the couple were more polite (and hungry) than we were. They politely asked the waiter to send back the chicken to the kitchen so it can be cooked more.... I would have left! At the very least, the waiter should have offered them their meal for free!!! Raw chicken?? Unforgivable. Oh, and BTW, the men's restroom had no paper towels, and the air dryer was out of order... You could see kitchen employees coming in and out of that same restroom... So, did they wash their hands? I highly doubt it, but who knows... Thankfully, (our immunizations were up to date and) our meals were good. Two bento boxes. One of them did have something resembling chicken and it seemed to be cooked (enough). Portion size was decent, prices reasonable, service was fair. Will we go back? Hmmmm.... probably not. Too bad the Thai restaurant (Siam Orchid) was closed on Monday.... read more
