I failed by not getting pictures as I accidentally left my phone behind. We started with steamed shumai and edamame. Then had house fried rice, lo mein, and prik pow with roasted duck. I have eaten here a few times over the years, but it's been a while. I was here for lunch and had an order of crab Rangoon as well as their Tom guy coconut soup. Both were fantastic. I do not understand why this place gets such good reviews. We got takeout and unfortunately were extremely disappointed. The vegetables in the crazy noodle dish were raw, otherwise the noodles/chicken were ok. The beef satay was so unappealing, tasteless, and chewy. Chicken dumplings were just ok. I use this place for take-out. Not only is the food authentic and delicious, but the staff is very helpful. Example: I asked if they had a traditional Thai glass noodle dish. Two things separate Asian Delight from the area competition - quality ingredients and authentic flavors The Orange Chicken was the best I've ever had - juicy, tender chicken with a crispy breaded shell and a robust orange flavor. The crazy noodles and pad Thai are both excellent. The shrimp was not overcooked and again, tender juicy chicken. The crazy noodles were spicy without dulling the flavor of the ingredients. While we live closer to the restaurants in Concord and New London, but will be making the trip to Asian Delight from now on. read more

Given all the other 5-star reviews, this restaurant doesn't really need another one, but I'm giving it anyway! Dropped in yesterday (Thursday, June 13, 2024) and was a little surprised by the set-up: Order and pay at counter, chose a seat and food is brought to you. They also have a nice cold water station, for those who are content with that. I'd been there before, but I think they are under new ownership/management/chef because although the food was always good, this time it was incredible! It was like when you get something that's exactly what you expected, and had craved, but it was even better - WAY better. I ordered Spicy Noodles, which comes with shrimp and chicken, and my wife got Veggie Red Curry. We both gave our food a huge double thumbs up. Both entrees came already in high-quality to-go containers, and we both had leftovers, not because it wasn't good but because there was so much. I'd been shying away from very spicy food, but these Spicy Noodles were perfect; just hot enough to elevate the taste but not so much that I reached for something to calm the burn. Finally, something I noticed in the online menu and was happy to see reappear in the restaurant's physical menu was that the prices were very reasonable. I had Yelped other Thai restaurants in Laconia, Tilton and Concord before choosing Asian Delight and everything we wanted at those places was around $17 to $22, whereas here the same items were roughly $13 and $14. This is likely because they are not paying people to wait on tables, but that does not detract one bit from the sense that you are "dining in." As we left there were 3 other tables occupied, and a steady flow of take-out patrons. We live 39 minutes from Asian Delight but will surely make that drive again, passing by at least 3 other similar places, the next time we crave excellent Asian food (Thai, Japanese, Korean). read more

Had lunch with an old HS classmate I hadn't seen in 50+ years at Asian Delight with both our wives. It was a bit of a haul to get there (from New London) but everyone was pleased with their lunch (2 x massaman curry, one green curry, and my Nam Prik, started with veggie tempura and chicken satay). The food is ALWAYS good there and the proportions are just right. Since Asian delight is down to a single 'front of the house' person, they use all plastic/paper service, which is just fine. The food is delivered fast and is alwasy to order. You can't eat ambiance and for lunch, who cares! I stopped at Asian Delight in Downtown Franklin very recently, which serves up mostly Thai dishes along with a few Korean and Japanese dishes on the menu. They serve lunch on weekdays (11AM-3PM) and dinner daily (4PM-9PM).This full service restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with a nicely decorated dining room also offers take out. The menu offerings include such dishes as Pad Thai noodles, Thai curry dishes, spring rolls, dumplings, satay, beet salad, kim chi fried rice, home style duck, tempura, teriyaki, and bulgoki. The prices here are fair, most dishes priced $8.95-$14.95. I got takeout and decided on the Crispy Pad Thai ($8.95), which had great flavors and the right amount of spice for kick. This dish had very firm noodles, stir-fried with shrimp, chicken, eggs, bean sprouts, scallions, and topped with plenty of crushed peanuts and a side of Thai spices. We were looking for a thai place en route to our hotel. Thanks to yelp we found Asian Delight. We ordered the appetizer sampler which was amazing. Each bite was so yummy. For dinner we ordered crazy noodles and the house duck. They were both great. The duck was fresh and perfectly cooked. The service and the food are amazing. The Crab Rangoons are to die for. The food is fresh and always tasty.

The street that goes through Down Town Franklin is small with a few breakfast type places. Beyond this stretch we have several pizza places and quite a few Chinese take out places. I have no idea where the foot comes from at some of these places but I have noticed a patter. All the egg rolls look identical. All the crab ragoons look like they have been pressed out of the same factory. Now I do understand that Asian Delight serves Japanese, Koran and Thai, but I wanted to bring the Chinese restaurants up as just a reference because this place and your standard Chinese restaurant offer the same named appetizers. Asian Delight appetizers are absolutely hand made. And they are outstanding! I have had about 4 different entree meals and they were all outstanding. The ingredient is fresh, the meat is cooked perfectly and juicy, and the spices are ample but not overwhelming. You can expect to have a few dollars more per meal here compared to the other takeout places, but it is quite worth it. read more

We have a favorite Thai place in Manchvegas, but a friend recommended we try this place in Franklin as it was even better. She was absolutely right! We ordered takeout due to the stay at home order. The portions were generous and the flavors were spectacular. We started with an appetizer combo and enjoyed everything offered. My partner's Pad Thai was perfect and my beef basil had a nice dose of spice and heat. The young'uns enjoyed shrimp and vegetable tempura and an order of Mango rice. The Miso soup was perfectly flavored and had generous portions of tofu and seaweed. While we told out takeout order would take 35-40 minutes, it was closer to an hour. Plan ahead... well worth the wait and the overall price was very reasonable for the quality of food.
