We looked at the Yelp reviews and decided to eat lunch here. As others mentioned, the place is really clean and they prepare the food in an area where you can watch. The décor of the restaurant is very basic yet functional. They appear to do a lot of takeout business. I had the Hawaiian poke bowl and my wife had the shrimp and fried tofu roll with spicy sauce. Our orders were ready in around 15 minutes and the presentation was excellent. Mine had a lot of fresh tuna for a poke bowl and all of the ingredients were very fresh. The taste was good as well. The only issue was it was small for a poke bowl. They could have added more rice, shredded lettuce or shredded carrots. That would not have increased their cost by much and it would have filled the bowl. My wife said her roll was good but not very spicy. Overall, this was good food at a good price. It's definitely worth going here. The only issue for us is we have had better poke bowls. read more

I got the pork dumplings, 4.99 and then the combo of 5 Cali rolls/ 5 spicy tuna rolls and it was perfect. I also liked the fact that they have low sodium soy sauce as an option at the table. It wasn't busy but definitely they see come good traffic come in and out. I recommend this place for casual sushi dinning. We tried Splendid Sushi for the first time today, and it was pretty good for NH sushi. There was one stand-out dish that was unexpected--the Tamago (sweet rolled omelet) nigiri sushi was outstanding. I must have caught the chef when he was making the Tamago, because it was still slightly warm. It was delightful, and took me back to Japan. That being said, we also got: - Small sushi rolls - One order of two rolls for about $6. We got one cucumber and one avocado. My hubby doesn't like raw fish and prefers these. They were fine. Given that the place we usually get this from charges about the same for EACH roll, this was a bargain. - California roll - Hubby had this too. He said it was tasty, but the crab didn't taste 100% fresh. - Spicy Tuna Roll - Instead of chopping up the tuna and making a spicy tuna salad, this chef makes a tuna/avocado/cucumber roll and then tops it with a spicy mayo. Tasty, but I found the rice to be a tad bit mushy. - Tamago Nigiri - As I stated before, it was divine! - Eel Roll - I ordered this but didn't have any. I was too full. :-) - Wakame (seaweed) salad - Love the flavor, but it was bit watery/gooey. This was a good value for the money. Not exactly the best sushi I've had, but not the worst. Just a reminder to myself not to come here again in the future. I came here about a year ago, forgot I came here, saw the outstanding reviews, and got duped into coming back. Not bad, but not good either -- problem is that the reviews are super overrated (especially the 4.9 stars over 138 google reviews). I can see how it could be considered a decent spot for Concord, which seems to lack any decent dining options, but is underwhelming in the grand scheme of things. Poke bowl especially leaves a lot to be desired. Staff seem friendly/nice. Prices are nothing to write home about and I would say on the slightly expensive side. Quality is "fine" (similar to supermarket sushi). I was hiking Mt. Cardigan and had to decide whether to go here or drive 20 extra mins out of my way to Plymouth and I regret not going to Plymouth.
