Do not trust the service department. I needed to get some simple warranty work done before my warranty expired. The service department had my vehicle for 3 months! When I finally got it back it was filthy. I took it straight to the car wash and discovered it had a 3 inch scratch down to the metal. AND later discovered they put something on backwards and forgot to bleed air out of the lines. My 2017 Grand Cherokee had its oil changed at Take Five oil change on Hulen in Fort Worth. They put the oil filter on improperly and most of the oil leaked out in my garage. I had the Jeep towed to Moritz, where Nick the service writer, had it out on the rack, diagnosed and repaired the problem in minutes. Two lessons learned: 1. Never ever use Take 5 oil change. 2. Overall, an excellent customer service experience. For context, I have a 2018 Jeep Rubicon that I did not purchase from Moritz, but will need service locally. I personally caused a slight snafu on my visit, as I had a service appointment at the other Jeep dealer in town and thought it was Moritz. It was a busy Friday, but the service advisor Justin Wells fit me in, gave me a reasonable and accurate wait time, and took a few minutes work through some complimentary service options. Usually dealer service departments are rushed and inpatient - especially on a busy Friday. It was such a pleasant surprise to find the attitudes of everyone I encountered to be the opposite. I also worked with the salesperson Sergio in the pre-owned dept to do a cash offer on a truck I was originally selling to a different dealer. Sergio made the process so simple and I received a fair market price. If you are looking for pre-owned I would highly recommend asking for Sergio Salgado. The Moritz new vehicle salespeople knew I wasn't there to purchase anything, like the internet sales manager, but that didn't change the friendliness at all. We have been customers of this dealership since late 2014. After two purchases with them and many routine service visit we have not been impressed. Purchasing dept. Is fine but beware of the service department. I have had my spotless Grand Cherokee Summit returned to me with mud all over the interior, on the steering wheel, gear shift, etc. The most recent problem occurred when I had a leak over my second row light fixture. They said they would run a leak test, etc. They did not say it would take more than a day and I specified I would be back at closing because I work full time and cannot go without a car. When I returned there was incliment weather and no service technicians were on duty at that time. They seem shocked I was there to pick it up. As I hurried to get home before major storms hit, I noticed at the stop light, that they had not even replaced the parts they took apart to test for leaks. I was completely shocked. When I called to ask the said they believed I would not be back to pick it up until the following day, which I had not confirmed nor had they specified. The saga continues... Because of work I was not able to return to service for several months. In October I returned to have the rear headliner plastic reinstalled, along with an oil change, etc. I picked it up and once again the issue had not been resolved. The missing part was put back on, but not the proper way. Plastic interior molding pieces are sticking out where the part wouldve held them on. They are rattling and the seal does not look to be correct. The employees in the service department who check you in are kind, unfortunately they are never there when you pick up, nor does anyone do a "quality check" to assure your service as been completed in the best manner. Upon pick up, should something STILL be wrong, their only advice is to bring it back. Most working people or students in college cannot just keep bringing the car back. We have spoken with a manager, who after the first incident offered a Rental car, etc. Despite our experiences we have continued to be loyal customers and I am greatly disappointed. We would just appreciate someone in the service department routinely checking to be sure each job is completed fully and has been done well, and that the car is returned in the same or better condition than it was left left. I'm 37 years old and the first time I marked mine was today 7/18/16. If you're not following me I'm referring to marking your tires in a way that you will know whether your tires where really rotated...OR NOT! I bet I've really got your attention now! Think about it for a minute. If all four of your tires on your vehicle are identical, then how do you really know if they were really rotated? You absolutely don't know. By nature you just trust the word and ethics of a big dealership...like Moritz Dodge over here in Fort Worth, Texas. Believe it or not but today I actually marked my front passenger tire with 1 red dot and 1 white dot right above the first "r" in Grappler and took a picture of it before I went to the dealership to have my tires rotated. Can you guess what I saw when they said my truck was ready? I walked straight over to the front passenger tire to look for the dots and yes they were there. I honestly felt my face instantly get hot I was so pissed! I pulled my phone out and pulled up the picture...I forgot to mention the picture had the date and time stamp on it. I walked straight over to the manager and showed him the picture while letting him know that I just now paid to have my tires rotated and asked him "does it look like my tires where rotated to you?" He was shocked that his guys never rotated my tires and informed me there would definitely be consequences for this. Even while all this was happening I couldn't help but to begin thinking of all the other times I paid to have my tires rotated...and I only thought they were rotated! That infuriates me to the core! My experience with the service department was unprofessional. The rep who handled my vehicle seemed well intentioned but he bumbled his way through the entire process. When I asked what was making the "crunching" sound as I drove off the lot, he quickly made up an uninformed answer, "The shocks or the struts are probably dry because Jeep has been sitting here on the lot for a week." I asked which it was, shocks or struts and he said, "It's either shocks or struts, whatever. It's got something like that." I don't expect him to be a mechanic but I do expect him to know basic things like that, particularly when it comes to a Grand Cherokee at a Jeep dealership. Though I had a handful of things repaired, I do not feel confident that anything was done properly because the service department did not make me feel confident at any point. read more

My experience with service when I brought my used purchased scatpack Charger I bought from another dealer in for warranty work the very prompt and took car the car. Also I had trouble getting a wheel alignment shops around town saying they weren't able to adjust camber and brought here and was taken care off. Nick Wilson is the service manager you want to ask for, very professional and polite. Now I've sold my Charger to moritz and have purchased my new Jeep trailhawk. My sales experience was good. Came in one look at a used Jeep that was going for 36k. I was curious at the new one prices and it was the end of the year rebates sale going so they got me 11k in rebates on a new 18jeep for about what the used Jeep was going for. Came in to the service center and spoke with Jimmy. He was nice throughout the process but all in all the experience here was not a good one. I came in to get them to replace a recalled ignition and when I got the car back Jimmy said I would have to use a pen to help me shift the gear shifter. He said he thought I had been shifting that way. I had not. Even though I was unhappy I drove it home. After being home about 1 hour I headed out to pick up my daughter from dance class and the car wouldn't even start. Tried several times and nothing. Called the service manager and he informed me that he would get the car towed and figure out what was wrong with it. The nest day Jimmy calls me back and tells me that the shifter needed to be replaced. They knew it was from the mechanics doing so they fixed it. The thing is, every time I came in to pick up the car something else was broke. This happened three times in the course of a month. The mechanics there are inexperienced and I don't think they know much about the cars they are even working on. Will not go back to this dealership ever! read more

I own/drive a 2020 Ram Laramie Sport and recently the 4wd service light came on. A mere module tr and actuator. Leaving the country for a week I figured I'd leave my vehicle at the dealership to be repaired while I was away. I initially took my vehicle to Alpha Romeo Fort Worth due to the fact my wife does business with them for her Alpha and they're also a Mopar parts/repair dealership as well. Alpha couldn't properly diagnose my issue (which is fine) and notified me right away. They offered to take it to neighboring Moritz which I gave the ok. While at Moritz for a week I received no updates, no phone calls, and no communication whatsoever. Calling multiple times (Gary Davis/Service Advisor), leaving multiple messages with my name, number and vehicle info for a simple update. It literally took me calling the dealership (10 times times before being very professional and patient just wanting to speak to someone regarding my vehicle) leaving a message , cursing and letting them know that I needed an update on my vehicle due to the fact that I can't just rent a car with no end date, inconvenience friends/family for rides, and spend endless amounts of money on Uber/lyft rides. This dealership literally had my vehicle for a week and refused to contact me back until I called and voiced my frustration for a mere update. I don't expect things to be done over night, but I do expect communication, which this dealership has non. I finally just showed up randomly and low and behold my vehicle was done! No phone call to say it was done, just a bunch of clowns avoiding eye contact and playing the yes sir if you need anything else just let me know card. You would think that I wronged them in some shape, form or fashion the way I was treated, when in reality I've never been to this dealership before in my life. They expect me to not have a truck for 3 days before they even look at it. There is no reason why appointments can't be scheduled or they put you on the list and drop off the day it's needed. What a disaster. After numerous service trips (each time was a week plus), promises of a "courtesy vehicle" while it was in the shop, that they shadily hit you with a big bill for "rental" fees at the end, trouble even getting in for service and numerous times of them back tracking on every thing they said (nothing they say is good enough verbally, get it ALL In writing). The vehicle was driven to another car company and traded in on a different brand. Now we are driving around with no issues! BTW Dodge wouldn't allow me to "damage " the dealerships rating with my survey because I didn't own the vehicle a week after the 3rd service trip even though the reason we traded it in was based on their brand and dealership. My husband and I drove 3 1/2 hours to buy a car we had seen on internet. We called and Emma Smith set up an appointment to meet with Rodney Smith (sales manager) When we arrived there was no car setting out and waiting for us. In fact, they had SOLD the car. I've not had the best experience with my Jeep. I definitely do not blame you-suppose it's the luck of the draw! But I did want to give you a short run down: After the alternator went out at 30,000 miles the check engine light comes on every two weeks. I'm told by the idiots running the service department that it's just an O2 sensor and to not worry about it. BUT-many features of the GRand Cherokee are disabled when the check engine light is on. I've dealt with this for 2 years. Now that I'm at 46,000 miles and need to have my car inspected to obtain registration for the vehicle-I'm now out of warranty, so I am told I need to pay 150 for diagnostics. For a regular occurrence that is due to a faulty alternator. Thanks Jeep! Also, I work evenings and nights, so I'd like to bring my Jeep in (like I always have) the afternoon, wait an hour and have the oil changed and the check engine lights kinked out. I was rudely told "let me tell you how this works" if I were to 'drop my car off' in the afternoon on any given day they wouldn't get to it until the morning. Car service offered, no?! Where tf am I supposed to go? Pay for an Uber? So I decide to make a 7am appointment. The customer rep I'm assigned to is late, so the same jerk that tried to school me previously says he guesses he can help me? Wtf? Hahaha hell naw same wack as tape they use on everything else. How do I know because they left it under the hood. Same basic ass tape another place would use. The back gate latch on my Jeep Patriot would not close, so the dashboard constantly said the gate was open. The mechanic, Gary, claimed that it was a problem with the dashboard and said I would have to pay $1100 to replace it. I refused, brought it home, took the gate apart, and just put it back together. This fixed the whole problem for $1100 less than Gary wanted me to spend. I don't think he even tried to open the back gate. So, Gary is either completely useless or tried to scam me. My husband took his 2017 Dodge Charger to get the high beams check because they wouldn't turn on and they couldn't find the problem. We took in our car Friday and they had it for 3 days. We asked for a loan car and they said they didn't have any available. So we let them check out the car for $150+ tax and come Monday my husband calls them and ask if it was ready to pick and said they were not done because they couldn't find the problem to why the high beams were not working. So my husband took it home and watched a YouTube video within minutes he found the problem. The HID NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THEY WERE BURNT OUT. So he went to autozone to get the parts to put in the fuse box and within a min the headlight beams were working. It cost him $26 for the parts and 3 min watching the YouTube video. This place is a whole scam . don't take your car here. Go somewhere else, and save your money. read more

Brought my truck in to the service department for some work on my locks to be completed. I called ahead to confirm with the service representative that I was okay to bring my truck in. Upon arrival I was told Chuck was no longer available and I had to come back the next day, wasting 2 days of my time. They don't offer vehicles for you to drive while work is being done so you have to rely on their shuttle which is highly inconvenient. Three of the four times I have taken the shuttle, either the supervisor working with my truck didn't notify the shuttle that I needed a ride or it was over an hour wait to receive any communication that a ride will be coming. Very unhappy with the customer service and the inconvenience of the shuttle service. Will absolutely not be doing business with them going forward. read more

Brought my car in because my head lights weren't working. $150 to Diagnose the issue is fine, but when I receive a phone call saying " we can't locate the issue, there isn't any power connecting from the inside, and you need 4 more hours to figure it out at $150 an hour." I got a fantastic deal, I got no pressure from Jose Marmolejo the sales gentleman and he got me the great deal. I got sucked into the extended warranty, but I've used that before on a vehicle. And I got a good deal on that too. So no regrets with the extended warranty. I was in and out in an hour if that. It was a perfect experience. I wish I could remember the finance guy's name, but he's got the cutest red headed kid. I would recommend these two guys to anyone as long as you're right with them, I think they will be right with you. I hate hard sales and this was a walk in the park (parking lot). I took my car for an oil change and went in the Dodge area by mistake. The first guy walked right passed me to another guy driving a Dodge Ram. I stood there like an idiot thinking wtf is wrong here. Finally someone came out and told me I was in the wrong area. The first guy didn't have to be a dick. He could've easily told me oh mam your in the wrong area. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT We brought in a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500, for the appointment that was set up for what was needed. We had a service shifter warning light on, we also asked for oil change, multi point inspection, tire rotation, check the key fob and car wash. We were told they could take care of all this during our appointment. Austin calls us and says, he can't get the part for two to four weeks, I told him, I talked to you on the phone and told you exactly what we needed done, during our appointment, I told him that was the we drove over an hour for the appointment. Austin said let me see what I can do. Austin calls me back and says he can get the part in about two weeks and that we could drive the truck home, I asked him if it would be safe, he proceeded to tell me it might lock up driving down the highway. He said he would make sure the rest of the services would get done. Then he calls me and says, I can get the part tomorrow. I told him awesome, I will leave it over night. He assured me that they would call if any of the filters needed changed. Next day he calls to tell me the truck is done. I told him I would be there tomorrow. We go to pick up the truck. We go to the cashier and I look over the bill, it had the oil change complete, tire rotation complete, multi point inspection no price or anything, the shifter knob was replaced. So I said nobody called on the filters and live on a dirt road and I couldn't imagine them not needing replaced. She sent me to Austin, he said everything was done the filters must have looked good and that multi point inspection paperwork was in the truck. He basically blew me off. Our truck pulled up, you could see that that our road dirt was still on it, we checked for the multi point inspection, NOTHING!! We asked to speak to someone in charge, not sure what his name was, his first answer was " we've been having a lot of trouble getting the service technicians to fill out the paperwork for the multi point inspection" and I told him that Austin blew us off and he wouldn't even look at us. So the one in charge tells us it's not Austin's fault. He said he would take the truck to the service area and check the filters and find out about the multi point inspection. Come to find out the filters were FILTHY, they changed them at no charge and a multi point inspection at no charge and they didn't check the key fob. I'm not sure the oil was changed or anything was done, besides the filters and the shifter knob. We two women over the age of 50. I worry about the people that trust this place to do the things, they want done. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE PLACE, WE WON'T BE GOING BACK read more
