While JJ wasn't the lowest, they were the most comprehensive. For example, all of the other quotes quoted the shingles and work, but JJ Construction quoted shingles, tiles, gutters, and all hardware (new fans/vents/gutters). They are highly skilled. They did not rush the project (who wants a roofer who rushes?) and cleaned up every day. Communication was excellent. They installed Class 4 shingles, which lowered my home owners insurance by 20%. Steven Grimm from Wolf Development was at our house in less than 2 hours after we made the call. He checked everything out. He took a lot of pictures of everything. After some discussion we decided to go with Wolf to replace our roof, siding, gutters and downspouts. Steven called our insurance company right then and filed a claim. He did all the follow up with our insurance company to make sure all the damage to our house was covered. He also did all the work with the county to get building permits. (5 star customer service) When the project was ready to start the roof material was delivered. We also got a dumpster and a port-a-potty. All this was placed on the edge of our driveway such that we could still get our car in and out of the garage. Steven and/or David (owner) visited the job site frequently. Their crews got a lot done in one, long, work day. The roof, gutters and downspouts were fine. We did have some issues with the workmanship of the siding installation. Steven and David came out to look things over. They found a number of items they didn't like. They had their crew out the next day to make fixes. We have shutters on a small window on the garage. For some reason the shutters didn't fit after the new siding went on. New shutters had to be ordered. A crew member said he would tell David to order the new custom shutters and it would be about 4-6 weeks. We waited 6 weeks and called Wolf. Apparently the shutters hadn't been ordered so we had to wait an additional number of weeks. It seemed to us that David had forgotten to order the replacement shutters. Instead of admitting he had forgotten (as we would have understood) various explanations as to why the shutters had not been delivered to the warehouse were given. The siding was finished mid-August...the shutters were finally put up mid-December. Steven and David also did some custom work for us to hide the ugly wire from our roof-top TV antenna to the lower level of our house, for that we were most appreciative. Thanks.

His team was efficient in changing the shingles on one side of my roof, and installing 3 new bath vents and 2 new chimney housing. While up on the roof, he also made sure all the exposed screws are properly sealed to prevent further rusting. All costs are reasonable and transparent. Clean up was done without leaving a trace of nails or debris. I would definitely recommend David to anyone who is looking for roofing/siding/chimney updates in their home.

Communication was thorough and timely. Multiple samples were delivered to my home, to ensure I was happy with the color of shingles to be installed. The price for the whole service was well within reason. Since I had my roof done at an unpopular time (winter), I had the full crew at my disposal. Thus, they must have set a new record for how quickly the work was completed. The old roof was removed and the new roof installed in practically no time at all. It felt like Santa's elves were working magic up there! A serious effort was made to protect my yard from debris (though I will say, I wish they would have thoroughly moved back the heavy stones they used to hold down the tarps). After the strong winds over the last year, the flat portion of our roof was worse for wear. We…read morereached out to Dickson after a neighbor recommendation and our previous roofers ghosted us. Manny came out that same week, took a look at the roof and provided us with a quote for both roofing options to consider--each quote felt completely reasonable. We opted to go with the EPDM flat roof system. Our project overlapped their busy season but we were still put on the schedule for a couple weeks out. The Dickson team was a small group focused on just our project--I did not feel like they were rushing the work to move onto the next which was honestly a huge plus. Manny did not push unnecessary work, products or attempt to upsell us. The work took a couple days to complete and Manny was sure to keep me up to speed on their progress at the end of each day. When the work was finished he had us take a look and, again, explained what they did. Unlike previous contractors, Manny and his team kept the work clean. I have yet to find a single stray nail in our yard or driveway and there was very little residual roofing debris from the removal of the old roll shingles. A number of places never brothered responding, and a couple actually set up appointments and then didn't show up. After hunting around for more places to call that were decently rated, I came across Holda Construction and I am so glad that I did. They called me back promptly to discuss and asked me to send pictures. After I sent photos, they got in touch and set up a time to come out for a quote within an hour, for the next day. Mariusz came out the next day, as promised (he even called to see if he could come a little earlier than scheduled) and assessed the situation. He explained the options and what his recommendation was- but there was no pressure to agree to the work on the spot- he just asked that I call and let him know if I wanted to move forward, His quote was extremely fair and better yet, he was able to start the work within the week. When I had questions on the contract he sent over, he immediately called to talk through them, and sent an updated quote the same day. The work took two days- the guys took care of everything, including a very thorough clean up- no debris to be found! And our new garage roof and gutters look great- and we now know that they have been properly installed, so we shouldn't have a repeat of the same issues we had experienced before.
