I stayed in Andrews, NC for one week and went to Morning Fog four times! It's that good. Since I made multiple visits, I'll give a summary of food and drink I ordered: -Not Your Mom's Grilled Cheese: Absolutely incredible! Great blend of cheeses complimented by a savory pairing of bacon and raspberry jam. -Sweet Southern Chick: Great chicken sandwich - juicy with a honey buttered bun. -Sunrise Cakes: Incredible pancakes! They have an orange zest baked in that makes them so tasty. -Bacon Cheddar Scone: Soft, flavorful and moist. -Breakfast Sandwich: MoFo sauce is awesome with a little a kick. Pair with the bagel of your choice. -Chai Latte: Strong & Hot! -Vanilla Latte: Great beans and flavor syrup. Breakfast is only served until 11:00 a.m. and they are serious about the time the menu switches. If you want a breakfast item, get there early! This spot is popular and during the rush the line can get long. The staff is extremely friendly. Leslie gave us great recommendations around town and Addie had phenomenal coffee recommendations at the register. They have indoor and outdoor seating along with a play area with swings and balance beams. Plus they have a drive thru if you want to grab something on quickly on your way through town. This is a great community spot that has incredible food and drink! This is a must go if in the area.

A real coffee shop is back in Andrews! Ever since Corner Coffee closed I've missed having a comfy coffee shop to enjoy time with friends and a warm brew. Morning Fog is a relaxed coffee shop with just the right amount of baked goods and food options. Seating is ample with multiple outdoor areas too. And it looks like they aren't done yet either expanding outside. The owners are local and have rejuvenated an old building back into the spotlight of Andrews. The community is better because of their efforts. We ordered a Chai Latte and they custom made me a Breve. The Lox bagel was solid and a rare find in even big city coffee shops. All of them were great and something we would order again. One downside is that they are usually only open until 3pm so this isn't a late night coffee, but if you're an early bird or need a lunch break they are the spot! Why are you still reading? Park the car and go in!

Beautiful lunch spot with great service! The food was the best tasting I've had in a while. The quality was excellent and pricing was reasonable for what you get! The outdoor area for kids and pets was great to get energy out. This place is definitely worth a visit! Iced coffee was also amazing! Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I were visiting from CA - this was such an unexpected gem of a place. A+ for excellent coffee, great food, beautiful shop, and really nice people. If you're in the area highly suggest. PS - try the cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting

Morning fog is one of my absolute favorite coffee shops! Their coffee is amazing and their food and deserts are so good. Their cinnamon rolls, fries, and burgers are fantastic. They great out door seating and such a great environment! The service is always timely and top notch! love this place so much!

Outstanding service! Super friendly and attentive! Bagels were incredible! Immaculate dining area and bathrooms. Staff goes above and beyond.

    Lavender matcha latte

The Hiker Burger I ordered was great as well as the matcha I ordered. The vibe of the cafe was cozy and well decorated. The service was the outstanding part. I had purchased a souvenir from the gift shop area and got home to find the box empty. I reached out to their email and they volunteered to ship it! Super great experience for my visit.

Earl Gray Scone with Lavender was wonderful. Breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese and 1 large coffees.

Drove up to Andrews, NC for coffee and breakfast at a new location. Great coffee. Friendly staff. Peaceful location on Main Street that's set back off the road. Play area for kids. Large outside deck seating area. Will definitely be back.

I wanted to try their pancakes but didn't want a full stack, and our server Robin was wonderful in recommending the Sweet Start. One thing we really appreciated is that all breakfast entrees include coffee or tea, and the prices are already very reasonable. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that even though we ordered specialty coffees, we could still enjoy complimentary refills of regular coffee. The restaurant has a charming and unique atmosphere, with every table looking a little different from the next. For my meal, I ordered the Sweet Start, which included one pancake, eggs, and bacon. I also appreciated the transparency from the staff. When I asked for an extra serving of their homemade pecan butter, I was informed upfront that there would be an additional charge....a level of honesty that's surprisingly rare these days. My husband ordered the Banana Nut French Toast comes with homemade whipped cream and homemade pecan butter, which also came with bacon. He added a side of eggs as well. Everything was delicious. I'm especially particular about pancakes, and I can honestly say they serve some of the best pancakes I've had. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and what stood out most was how genuinely happy all the staff seemed to be. It created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made our visit even more enjoyable. We would definitely return the next time we're in the area.

We perused what items we could eat - yikes if only they offered black bean patties as a substitute. We then checked their health department ratings (available on their Yelp page) and decided not to eat there. We hope their health department issues get resolved, and that their ratings climb up significantly!

Right from the start we were greeted by Rosa who immediately made us feel right at home with her warmth and humor. Chef Andrew is an incredible talent. Everything was just extraordinarily delicious! We started with a very yummy chili with cornbread followed by the best pork belly we have had with a yummy almond butter sauce (lord!!) and then finished it off with perfectly cooked flatiron steaks with yummy cowboy butter! Oh and Chef even brought us some crispy cilantro rice that was also just a masterpiece of flavors. I don't know how many times I stopped during our meal to exclaim "this is SO GOOD" ....but it was many. That was the food- the people and service were as if not more impressive. Taz, the innkeeper who served us was incredibly kind and friendly and even brought us a complimentary champagne toast, which was so nice and appreciated! Again Rosa was hilarious and so sweet to us and then we met Shannon who brought us our desserts at the end of our meal and also made us feel like old friends. It was so over the top good that I feel we will be forever spoiled! We definitely will be coming back to stay. Many thanks again

Our party of four (two couples) showed up ahead of our reservation time, but they would not seat us early even though the dining room was mostly empty. There was one hostess at the desk and what appeared to be only a single server working the floor. They bring bread and water at the start of the meal. Be careful if you want to save your roll for later--they only allow one per person. The soup course that followed was the best part of the meal for me. After that, a couple of us ordered the mixed green salad (my wife said it was the highlight of her meal), while one of us had the Caesar salad with anchovies (which he removed). For the main courses, two of us ordered the grilled chicken, one had the steak, and I had the quail. The grilled chicken lacked flavor beyond the crust, the steak was overpowered by marinade so the meat itself was hard to taste, and the fried quail did not pair well with the grits for me. For dessert, two of us had the peach cobbler with ice cream, one ordered the key lime pie, and the other had the Almond Joy cheesecake. The peach cobbler was nothing like a good home-cooked version, the key lime pie was extremely tart, and the cheesecake was the only dessert that was actually good. Overall, the experience was not pleasant. There were very few people in the dining room the entire time--never more than three tables seated. It was uncomfortably quiet; you could clearly hear conversations from other tables. It felt like eating dinner in a musty library. We've eaten at a number of higher-end places across the South, but this is one I cannot recommend.
