This is my absolute favorite coffee spot in Andrews, NC! Just tried a new drink called "Carrot Cake Latte" OMGOSH! It has to be my new favorite! I got it hot, because of the cool mornings here in the valley. It paired great with the Orange cranberry Scone! Of course I got it warmed! It was so moist and yummy, no butter needed there! I talked to the owners daughter and she told me the bakers arrive at 3:00-4:00 am so everything is fresh each day! My friend got a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese on a fresh made bagel! There was a chipotle aioli on the sandwich that made it over the top! I had to have a bite, just to tell everyone about it! Shhh! I might have snuck an extra bite! So SO YUMMY! The decor in the shop is so coffee chic.. loved it! Super comfy chairs and tables if you need to work. Outside plenty of tables and comfy arm chairs. They even have a fire pit for those chilly mountain days! Don't want to leave the kids out? No worries! They have a play ground! They even have a little stage area... I ordered a River Runner... i don't know who on earth thought this concoction was a good idea but it was hands down the worst salmon sandwich I've ever attempted to eat. Service was pitiful as well, I've been all over the country, the world you name it with the military and came back home. So it's not like I have some sheltered taste palate. I'd say it's more of a coffee shop than somewhere to eat. I'll give it another shot but the 3 star is warranted. read more

My wife and I found this gem on our way home from camping in Cherokee NC. Not many choices for Memorial Day breakfast, but they were open and we were sure glad they were. The ambiance gave us our first feel good impression, indoor and outdoor seating including a front porch. The service is young energetic and professional and knowledgeable about all the items on the menu, because I asked about just about a variety of them. They are family owned, which always sets well with me. My wife had the Sunrise Cakes and I had the Egg Ricotta Whip. Both were incredible and as good as everything looked, it ate even better. The coffee was amazing and is sourced from Phoenix Roasters which features a signature Guatemalan medium roast (which I had and throughly enjoyed). Lets just say the remaining 2 plus hour ride home was nothing after this feel good experience. Check em out, you will not be dissapointed. My only regret is that they are not closer to home, because we would definitely be regulars. But, we go camping a few times a year so we will be back! read more

I stayed in Andrews, NC for one week and went to Morning Fog four times! It's that good. Since I made multiple visits, I'll give a summary of food and drink I ordered: -Not Your Mom's Grilled Cheese: Absolutely incredible! Great blend of cheeses complimented by a savory pairing of bacon and raspberry jam. -Sweet Southern Chick: Great chicken sandwich - juicy with a honey buttered bun. -Sunrise Cakes: Incredible pancakes! They have an orange zest baked in that makes them so tasty. -Bacon Cheddar Scone: Soft, flavorful and moist. -Breakfast Sandwich: MoFo sauce is awesome with a little a kick. Pair with the bagel of your choice. -Chai Latte: Strong & Hot! -Vanilla Latte: Great beans and flavor syrup. Breakfast is only served until 11:00 a.m. and they are serious about the time the menu switches. If you want a breakfast item, get there early! This spot is popular and during the rush the line can get long. The staff is extremely friendly. Leslie gave us great recommendations around town and Addie had phenomenal coffee recommendations at the register. They have indoor and outdoor seating along with a play area with swings and balance beams. Plus they have a drive thru if you want to grab something on quickly on your way through town. This is a great community spot that has incredible food and drink! This is a must go if in the area. read more

A real coffee shop is back in Andrews! Ever since Corner Coffee closed I've missed having a comfy coffee shop to enjoy time with friends and a warm brew. Morning Fog is a relaxed coffee shop with just the right amount of baked goods and food options. Seating is ample with multiple outdoor areas too. And it looks like they aren't done yet either expanding outside. The owners are local and have rejuvenated an old building back into the spotlight of Andrews. The community is better because of their efforts. We ordered a Chai Latte and they custom made me a Breve. The Lox bagel was solid and a rare find in even big city coffee shops. All of them were great and something we would order again. One downside is that they are usually only open until 3pm so this isn't a late night coffee, but if you're an early bird or need a lunch break they are the spot! Why are you still reading? Rarely do I write a review. This is such a great place for coffee, breakfast and lunch! We were visiting from Charlotte NC and never go back to the same place when traveling, but the breakfast was sooo good we had to come back the next day for lunch.
