We love lunch at Gazebo when we come into town. The broccoli and cheddar soup is always a hit, especially on cold days. The portions are perfect and each sandwich comes with a pickle and chips. Sweet lunch spot on a creek near historic downtown Franklin. Not a ton of parking but we didn't have a problem. Grilled chicken sandwich served with chips and a pickle were delicious. Chicken was moist with a soft brioche bun. Husband had bbq sandwich and it was loaded! We sat on the middle deck- there are three levels as well as the gazebo. Midweek at lunchtime in April and no trouble finding a table-but they were busy. We will be back next time we're in Franklin. read more

We were traveling through this area and checked Yelp for a good place for lunch. We decided to give it a try and so glad we did. The cafe is a cute little place that sits along a tiny creek. The menu has a variety of sandwiches and a couple of soups. We opted to share a Turkey Sandwich on Wheat. You can choose the bread you want. It comes with chips and a pickle spear. They do charge a small split charge of $1.25 but when our order came we both had a bag of chips and pickle spear. The sandwich was delicious with a generous amount of turkey and the tomato slices were nice and ripe. We also split a piece of Key Lime Pie, which had a nice crumbly crust and was delicious! Gazebo has a cute location at a creek, and some of the tables overlook the creek. They do have a small parking lot, but are so popular that you may need to park in the larger lot up by the road. Gazebo is an open-air restaurant, and the tables by the creek are outdoor tables, but the rest of the tables are under the gazebo. Plastic walls allow for more protection from the weather, and the restaurant does have outdoor heaters to ward off the chills. I am gluten intolerant, and I sure wish they offered gluten-free bread, but I usually order a salad, and enjoy that Almost as much as a sandwich. They serve food in to-go containers, so, if you're taking your leftovers, you're all set. The salads are fresh, and the tea is good. Good tea is a marker of Everything, so I recommend Gazebo! read more

Let's start with it being a literal Gazebo. And it's right next to a creek. Found this place by accident when I saw a simple sign roadside for it. The prices were great, The food was tasty and the servers were polite and prompt. If I'm ever back this way I will definitely be stopping in again. Relaxing atmosphere A couple of weekends ago, we were in Brevard for my HS Reunion Picnic and spent the night in Sapphire Valley. Next morning, indulged in the complimentary breakfast at the Hampton Inn Inn and hit the road. It had been raining before we got her and had subsided to a mere Monsoon so everyone was on the main deck for dining when we got there. Any other time.the tables on the lower deck next to the creek would have been occupied but it's a fun place anyway/ I dropped my wife off at the front door while I found a parking spot. ( Note: parking is limited) Came in and she had found a table and our server was there immediately. Ended up moving because the rain was blowing in. Our server went with us which was an excellent sign of commitment. Very interesting menu with a lot of favorites and some unique combinations but for the whole we stuck with our normal comfort food. My wife had the special wihich was a cup of Broccoli Cheese Soup with Grilled Ham and Swiss Sandwich which she enjoyed. I went with the French Dip and while good, was not outstanding. The meat and the bread were good but the parquet of Horseradish was closer to mayonnaise than horseradish and the au jus had little or no taste of the rendering from the cooking of the meet. Still it's a nice place and a good place to relax overlooking a small creek flowing below. We will be going back in a couple of months and will give it another shot and try other items on the menu. My wife did enjoy her's and mine was the only thing that did not come up to expectiations. read more

Cute little place here in Franklin. Went for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded. We opted to sit outside since the weather is good. They had the heat on inside the Gazebo, so outside was better for us. We had the Ruben which was stoked full of meat. The sauerkraut was good and the dressing was good too. We also had the Mufaletta sandwich and it was really good too! Nice atmosphere here. Friendly folks. First time visit, but won't be our last. read more

Lovely location in Franklin. We were driving by looking for a good lunch spot and it caught my eye. Amy took care of us and she was delightful, attentive and kind. I ordered a Rueben and hubby had chicken dumpling soup and a chicken salad sandwich. Everything was delicious! The hot items were served hot and the chicken salad was fresh. This place is so quaint and cute! I love the ambiance. I've only ever tried their salads so far. I am on a gluten free diet and those are pretty straightforward (minus croutons in the Ceasar salad). My favorite is the Greek salad with chicken. Their house dressing is amazing! The setting is nice with all outdoor seating. The bathrooms were clean as were the tables. When we arrived there were plenty of tables to choose from and parking was available in the small lot. The gentleman at the cashier counter was friendly but our table service was terrible. The waitress acted as if it taking our order was a huge inconvenience. She brought the food, with several errors in the order, along with the check and then never returned to the table. I witnessed her literally roll her eyes at another customer who was trying to find a seat as she was waiting to get through with drinks for another table. We were passing through Franklin, NC on our way to Atlanta and stopped at this cafe for a quick lunch. We were both in the mood for salads. I ordered the Greek Salad with chicken breast. He ordered a Grilled Chicken Salad. Both were fresh and plentiful and the chicken was tender and well seasoned. My vanilla milk shake was made with real ice cream. Although the cafe was very busy, the staff kept the food and tables moving. Our waitress was very pleasant. The cafe is built on a hill so guests must walk down and up steps. Didn't bother me 'cause I'm only 75. A number of less limber guests had no trouble. We will come back here for lunch next time through! read more

My wife and I love, love, love this cafe. We have been here twice (only because it is 2+ hours for us to get here but we haven't stopped talking about it from our first visit in 2015. Being retired now I said, "Well lets go!" A beautiful, but twisty, drive got us here just before opening. We had had to park about 600 feet away in another parking lot our first visit so we got here just before opening this time. There is quite a bit of outdoor seating that offers a beautiful quite creek to view and listen to as you enjoy the delicious food. I had the Chicken Framboise sandwich both visits. My wife had a Reuben this time, we don't remember what the first time. We also got potato salad for our side this time, instead of chips and a pickle. The food is delicious. All of it. This is a really cute little place. We were driving back to GA from TN and wanted somewhere simple to stop and have lunch. My friend found this place on Yelp and away we went. It's as the name suggests, next to a creek. It made for a nice atmosphere while we ate outside. The menu is light fare of sandwiches and salads.
