My husband I enjoyed a fabulous lunch at The Rusty Bike Cafe. I loved the Summer Salad with all the fruit, veggies, and vinaigrette. It was pure summer happiness on a plate. My husband loved his Philly Cheese Steak and coleslaw. He orders PCS whenever he can, and he said this was one of the best he's ever had. The menu is extensive and everything looks wonderful. The owner's pictures of them "biking" all over the country give you a sense of getting to know them without ever meeting them. Great food. Awesome service. And a really good environment to boot. We had the classic burger, the Philly cheesesteak, sweet potato tots, and onion rings, and all were excellent. Make sure to get the honey mustard dipping sauce with your tots and thick country bacon on your hamburger. The only thing I would add would be au jus which would've made the Philly cheesesteak the best French dip in GA. We had Brenda as a server and she was incredible. The excellent food, cozy environment, and tremendous service keep up coming back time and again. The entire staff treats my mom like family, and it is always joy to see how happy she is whenever we visit. Great food is one thing, but the service is what really keeps us coming back. I highly recommend the Rusty Bike, but do be prepared to wait a little bit because word is out how good this place is, and there's always a crowd. However it is WELL worth the wait! Celiac friendly! If this means anything to you then you know! I called ahead and spoke to the owner Joel. After just a couple of minutes on the phone I knew he understood what it meant to accommodate someone. Upon arrival he spoke to us personally and gave my daughter full confidence that her meal would be safe. Over the last year of trying to navigate celiac we have found eating out to be a super challenge. Today Joel made our visit amazing. All of this aside the food was wonderful! We made a last minute decision to try them for Breakfast during our last morning in Clayton, and SO glad we did. We arrived to a 10-15 minute wait, but were offered instant seating at the bar which we took advantage of. The Owner, Joel, was putting together place settings near us and handed us menus. I ordered "The Trike" and my wife had a biscuit and gravy. Food arrived in about 10 minutes and was absolutely delicious. About twice the hash browns you get at WH, two eggs, 2 strips of bacon, and a large freshly baked biscuit with butter and strawberry jam. We both enjoyed our meal. While we were at the bar, Joel was chatting with us and he was a pleasure to converse with. He told us about some of the other breakfast options and gave us both a sample of his wife's Apple Cinnamon cake, which was excellent. The atmosphere is definitely that of a small mountain town. We felt right at home and enjoyed looking at some of the trinkets and decals scattered around our area. Highly suggest you give them a try! read more

A very pleasant surprise. Don't let the negative comments about the decor turn you away from awesome food. This place is decorated as an upscale Biker Bar. It's not something out of "Son's". Give it a try and you just might make a friend or two. Service was awesome. The menu options were on point. Everything was fresh and hot and the coffee was a great morning blend. My wife was torn between a chicken tender lunch or a breakfast. The waitress said "No problem" and switched her breakfast meat option to chicken tenders. There were three, very large, hand breaded, fresh fried perfectly cooked tenders...awesome switch. Don't let a couple stickers or signs sway you from a most excellent meal. We were recently in Dillard, Georgia for the leaves change, and we had breakfast at this rusty bike Café and let me tell you the breakfast was huge cooked perfectly and reasonably priced. The overall ambience of the restaurant was really fun with all the Harley Davidson, memorabilia and different famous peoples pictures signed hanging on the wall we especially loved seeing Donald Trump Junior's signed autographed picture on the wall. I and my family stopped here on our way back from NC for summer vacation and enjoyed it!! The hash browns, are TO DIE FOR!! They are perfectly crispy on the top and as you continue eating the bottom turns into that excellent kind of soft type! I got the breakfast burrito and it was awesome, just like the employees!! These folks are GREAT. I'm not writing this review to benefit me or anyone else besides the folks at the cafe. We are somewhat local, non-tourist; Clarkesville to be exact, but when we head up 441 we ALWAYS plan a stop at the cafe for breakfast. I always get the basics, eggs, ham, sausage ,grits, with a slice of french toast. I told the owner a couple weeks ago I was coming back for the 'all you can eat french toast gala'. (the french toast is that good). He told me that would never happen, Ha ! Ha!. We are going by there in a couple of days and will be picking up to-go orders on our way to Bryson City. So I cant indulge in the French Toast Feast this go around, but one day, one day, I WILL!!!!!! Please folks, if you are looking for good, basic, breakfast cooking, give these folks a try. The food was really solid. My dining companion, and I split an order of the banana bread, French toast, and the Breakfast Burrito. We really enjoyed both items. The banana bread had a nice flavor. It was nice and eggy and covered with bananas. Good time and a delicious praline sauce. It wasn't overly sweet and it had a nice texture. But it's not banana bread is in a loaf of banana bread it's like may be a challah bread flavored with banana. In any case it was the perfect texture for French toast. Surprise star of the meal was the breakfast burrito. I can't explain why I liked it so much. The wrap had a nice chewiness...Maybe the egg is cooked directly on the wrap???? I can't explain the alchemy... It was just a perfect match. We also very much enjoyed the sausage in the burrito. It had a mild flavor and firm texture that we really enjoyed. Just a really solid meal. Very nice. The prices were also very fair, as well as the serving size. We did not go away hungry. In terms of the atmosphere it was fine. The wait staff was really nice. Let's start with the ambience of this place because I feel like it's the main thing once you walk in lol. We'll get to the food (it was great) but I feel this is a need to know for anyone that wants to try this place. It is very political here. Very clearly pro MAGA and conservative. Not saying anything against it, I just feel it's something people should know in deciding if they want to come here or not. When you walk in there are signs and pictures hanging on every inch of the walls and I'd say when you walk in and around the bar about half of them are something political. When you get to were we sat in the back of the place there are some cool pictures and signs that aren't political in nature (kinda giving off old zaxbys before the rebrand) so that was nice. Aside from that, the food here was really good and so was the service. We got the banana bread French toast that the server (Cassie) recommended and it was a treat. I think it goes a little over the top with the banana bread, but it was still really good, just super decadent. I think it would have been better with regular French toast with all the same toppings of this one though. My fiancé got the Black Bird which is a blackened fried chicken with melted pimento cheese and there rusty sauce that is similar to a yumyum sauce. He said it was amazing. Onion rings were good too. I got the gear shifter. Everything was great the sausage patty was super yummy. I added cheese to my grits and they were not stingy with the cheese at all.
