2 eggs scrambled with cheese, homefries, and sausage links. Toast on side not included in photo.

Service was exceptionally quick. We ordered and I swear quite literally two minutes later our food was here. I had eggs scrambled, sausage links, toast, and homefries. All were delicious and good portions. Waitress was lovely.

We are at this place 2 mornings in a row. Both times were great! The service was amazing and everyone was attentive and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is nice and spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was great on both occasions. We all tried something different at each visit and satisfied both times. .

I have been here many time and the service is really good and the food is very good especially breakfast. Unfortunately if you don't take Ameeican Express and make me pay with Visa, I will not return.

What an amazing gem this place is! Visiting Orlando and heading to Cocoa Beach, I stopped off here for breakfast. Very friendly servers with a southern hospitality attitude. The food was reasonably priced and so delicious! They had super delicious grits!!! Coffee was pretty awesome too!

There's something special about family-owned businesses that exude warmth, authenticity, and a touch of nostalgia. Country Cooking Diner in Cocoa new brunch menu perfectly encapsulate these qualities. They have truly outdone themselves with their latest brunch menu offerings. The Fried Green Tomato Benedict is a culinary masterpiece that combines the Southern favorite of fried green tomatoes with the classic Eggs Benedict. The tangy tomatoes perfectly complement the creamy hollandaise sauce, resulting in a flavor explosion with every bite. For those craving a taste of the South, the Cajun Shrimp and Grits is an absolute must-try. The succulent shrimp, cooked to perfection and seasoned with a delightful Cajun blend, are served atop a bed of creamy, cheesy grits. This dish is a harmonious blend of flavors that will transport your taste buds straight to the bayous of Louisiana. If you're in the mood for a classic brunch staple, the Chicken and Waffles is a true winner. The crispy, golden-brown chicken paired with fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth waffles creates a delightful contrast of textures. Whether you prefer to drizzle your creation with maple syrup or douse it in hot sauce, this dish is bound to leave you satisfied and craving more. No brunch experience is complete without a refreshing beverage to complement the flavors. Country Cooking Diner offer an array of options to choose from, including the classic Bellini and the ever-popular Mimosa. Sip on these delightful concoctions as you savor your brunch, and you'll find yourself transported to a state of pure bliss.

Nice breakfast! Cooked to order the way we wanted it. Perfectly poached eggs. My husband's pork chop was perfectly cooked as well. Waitress was very helpful.

This was our first time, and we thought it might be a good option that is relatively close to home. A real disappointment. The food (breakfast) was underwhelming and seemed pretty bland. Coffee was definitely sub-par, and at $2.79, wish I had brought my own. The omelette seemed a bit under-cooked and was a bit slimy. The scrambled eggs had no flavor until a good amount of salt / pepper were added. On a good note, the French toast was really good. Again, first time. With so many other options, I doubt we will return. Service was fine. Dining room is small and noisy but it looks like they are getting ready to move into a larger space.

It came with three large meatballs that were homemade, side salad & garlic toast. I finished the meatballs, a few bites of pasta, one slice of garlic bread & the salad. It smelled so wonderful in there of roasted coffee, baking breads with just a hint of cinnamon in the air. If I could put that in a bottle I would definitely use it as an air freshener! Merritt Island Pancake House is different from a typical diner. Even though at first this looks like a low-brow diner, the special touches say a lot. They keep with the islands theme in the decor, dishes, etc. There is a whole wall with colorings from children who have dined here. There yummy dishes with lots of gluten-free options (I had GF lemon blueberry pancakes that were great). Something that impresses me is their fruit choice--blueberries, blackberries, strawberries--instead of the typical cheaper fruits. I was really glad with the eggs because they even taste better (creamier) than a typical diner egg (like possibly cage free brown). Maddie was my server and she was sweet, easygoing, and good with the menu. I'd like to bring my girls here and was glad I tried it.

I asked for some lemons in my water "to kill the taste of Cocoa city water from the mainland". And Alex brought a cup full. Just enough to do the trick. He understood. FOOD: The food was great, as usual, except for the burnt sausage bits in the gravy. That was unusual and disappointing, but we were so hungry we ate it. Eggs were perfectly cooked as ordered, and pancakes were excellent (the best of any restaurant pancake anywhere) Sorry, Mom. ATMOSPHERE: Generally, the decor is plain. American flags, Firefighter logos, etc. Some art (attached) OPERATION: BUT today, Father's Day, they must have been short-staffed. The restaurant was about 25% full, lots and lots of empty tables, many tables covered with dirty dishes. Servers were moving quickly with one female server ambling about as if they were closed and hoping everyone else would do whatever needs to be done. It was 25 minutes until we were seated. Then, Alex was great. Then, we waited for our food. The entire restaurant was filled with the strong smell of burnt food. Real bad. Over one hour later, our food arrived. It was hot and, by then, we were extra hungry. We had a great time talking and sharing stories as the time passed. Usually, there is a line outside and all the many benches inside and out are full of people. So, you expect to wait, but today there were very few people. About 4 groups ahead of us. I do recommend you give them a try as the food is usually great.
