They were clean, organized, respectful, optimistic, and very hard workers. They were hustling in the 90 degree weather - no joke! Shelly answered my call and provided the quote based on some Q&A. The quote came in slightly lower than a competitor and I decided to go with it because of Shelly's responsiveness over the phone (instead of waiting around for someone to do a physical walk-through before they could give me a quote.) The owner called me the day before our scheduled move to confirm the date and time, which I appreciated. Also, All in a Day was available with my short time-frame and they were local to the area my mom was moving so I felt comfortable with their knowledge of the general location. They finished well under the minimum time quoted to me, but that's OK. There was no way my cousins and I were going to be able to move my mom's stuff in the hellish heat of the Central Valley and Frank and Cody worked their A's off so it was worth it to me. I would definitely use this company again and I recommend it!

Carlos was great to talk to and gave us a great rate. Would absolutely move with them again. However, after the initial quote we needed to push our start time back and were only able to get a hold of the "lead salesperson" (we did not get her name). We called twice and each time she reassured us she would pass the message along, but it seems no one was made aware because the moving team arrived at the wrong time. At the same time, she created confusion about our quoted rate as well as other details regarding our move that had already been ironed out with Carlos. She was absolutely unhelpful and only made our move more stressful.

The team worked efficiently and packed the truck expertly--everything was secure, and nothing was broken or damaged, which really speaks to their care and experience. Toward the end of the move things did slow down a bit, but we were also coming up on nearly seven straight hours of work, so that was completely understandable. By the end, most of the large furniture items were placed inside the house as requested, and the majority of the boxes were left neatly in the garage, which will make unpacking fairly manageable. Overall, great service, strong work ethic, and a crew that clearly knows what they're doing. I would absolutely recommend Peninsula Pack and Move, especially for more complex moves.

I moved from an apartment to a furnished home only 15 minutes away. I supplied approximately $200 in moving materials, yet the move still took 7 hours and cost $1,200 (Paid Zelle to avoid another 5% added). In total, my move today (pictured here) was $1400, two boxes of kitchen supplies(as I again, am moving into a furnished home), my clothes, and my daughters room belongings. Two men = 14 hours of labor for this? The math is just not mathing for me. Billing also began before any actual moving started, which added to my frustration- they parked on the wrong street at said "arrival" time on paper. I move an average of 1-2 per year and I have never had service take this long nor be this expensive. I would not hire these movers simply because you can find people to give you a great service and work very efficiently.

I'm not one to leave one-star reviews, because I believe feedback and concerns should be addressed…read moredirectly with the business first. But when you make the effort to address it directly and don't even receive a follow-up or apology, it feels like it warrants sharing the experience publicly. I hired Rapid Moving to move between two houses less than two blocks apart--a move I likely would have done myself if time allowed. I also hired them to pack two of the six rooms in my home: the kitchen and my child's room. Upon arrival, similar to what others have mentioned in reviews, the movers smelled strongly of weed. They were also dressed in what I would consider inappropriate attire for a moving job--oversized clothing and slides. One mover was actively playing a gambling game on his phone while speaking with me and while I was giving them a tour of the house. That same mover stayed on his phone for most of the day, only hanging up when they drove the truck to the new house. At one point he even asked to borrow a charger because his phone had died. Many of the conversations he was having were inappropriate, and I was honestly relieved that my kids were not home to hear them. The move itself wasn't particularly fast, though I wouldn't say they were dragging either. What was strange was that with the truck only about half full and still two rooms of furniture left, they decided to make a trip to the new house to unload and then return for the remaining items. They ultimately finished within the expected time, but the last portion of my belongings was simply left in the living room. They also left an entire box worth of toys behind in my child's room that never made it onto the truck. During the move, they put a large dent in the molding around the bathroom door in my old home and broke one of the steps leading to the upstairs bedroom in the new house. The packing portion was especially disappointing. The movers only brought standard large boxes, not heavy-duty ones. While some delicate items were wrapped, several cocktail glasses were not wrapped at all. Most of the boxes appeared to be packed by simply tossing items inside with no organization or protection. One box that contained all of my cocktail glassware had a cast iron skillet placed on top of it, which resulted in significant breakage. In total I lost about $200 worth of glassware along with two collector plates from Disneyland Paris. In another case, a bottle of olive oil was thrown into a box where the pour spout popped off, leaking oil over the entire contents. Cleanliness was also an issue. The movers left remnants of their lunch throughout several rooms in my old house, including salsa drips on the kitchen counters. We bought them water midway through the move, only to later find empty bottles scattered around the new house. They also left behind their packing supplies--wrapping paper, tape rolls, and leftover boxes. After the move, I made an effort to contact the business directly to discuss my concerns. My call was answered by the receptionist, who was polite and did her best to take notes. However, I was really hoping the owner would follow up with at least a phone call and an apology. Unfortunately, that never happened.

Just straight-up professionalism and hustle. While other moving companies out here are busy overcharging for mediocre service, Damien and team rolled in like the Navy SEALs of relocation. Showed up early, wrapped every single piece of furniture like it was going to the Louvre, and then executed the move with military-level precision. Loaded and unloaded in record time. Not a scratch. Not a ding. Not a single misstep. They moved us down to Redondo Beach and made the entire experience feel like a spa day--calm, smooth, and over before I knew it. And this was during a stressful chapter in our lives, so the professionalism and care really meant something. I-Movers absolutely ROCKS. Damien, you're the real MVP.
