I had an issue with my Harley after I tried to jump it due to the battery dying. I decided I would drop it off here for a diagnosis and they made time for my bike to be looked at. They also took the time to run some additional diagnostics to fix my bike and gave me a quote in case I wanted to fix it now, or if I wanted to wait until later. They had my motorcycle up and running in a few days which was great. The staff at the service department is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back here in the future. read more

Was in the area from East Hartford CT to go to the Woodstock Festival and my bike died while I stopped at Paul Jr's Design. Mike, one of the techs gave me a jump and contacted Moroney's and they had a replacement, so I scooted over to get it replaced. By this time it was late and they were closing, but Jim in service helped me install the new battery, but the bike wouldn't start, so I left it overnight. Jim called me the next morning to let me know it was all set, and when I went to pick up the bike they only charged me for the battery and wouldn't accept anymore. I can't say enough about the good service I received from everyone at Moroney's Cycle, especially Jim who felt that fellow riders need to be there for each other. read more

I can here a few months ago and bought a 2022 Suzuki Burgman. I dealt with Eric through the whole buying process, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. I traveled about 2 hours to go here, so naturally I had a plethora of questions before making the trip, and Eric was helpful every step of the way. When I arrived I was met with nothing but warm welcomes, and felt like it was definitely a place I wanted to do business with. We went over the scooter top to bottom, and even got a mount installed while there. The long ride home was incredibly smooth and felt great the whole time. Eric even called halfway through the journey home to make sure everything was holding up, and that the ride was going smoothly. I had to get new tires put on my 2000 Heritage Springer. Vinny in service was fantastic. He helped me schedule an appointment, kept me updated via text on progress and ensured my bike looked great. My girlfriend and I are motorcycle fans, (even though I can't ride due to epilepsy) and we stopped in to Moroney's Cycle on our way to the motorcycle museum five minutes away. My girlfriend had earlier rented a bike from them for a few days to test if she could really get around on a bike before making a purchase (something I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for everyone) but she was so impressed with the floor displays and the floor sales staff, she wanted to return. We stayed so long (until they closed) that we rescheduled visiting the motorcycle museum for another day. Their floor is like a museum! read more

Since my last review, I've stopped in a few times looking for miscellaneous ATV parts. Next door to the main motorcycle shop, they have a separate shop for dirtbikes and ATVs. Each time I've stopped in, I was unable to find the basic parts I was looking for. My most recent visit was this afternoon. The parts technician was friendly, seemed knowledgeable, and made every attempt to find the part, which is why I'm giving a 2-star review instead of a 1-star review (in my previous review, the parts technicians simply had no clue - this seems to have improved). However, after browsing through a few catalogs, the tech was unable to come up with the part. He was nice enough to refer me to a few shops which might be able to order the part. Instead, I drove 1 hour to the shop where I bought the part, and they had it in stock. I'd understand if this was a lone incident - stores cannot carry every part for every machine. However, every single time I come here for parts for various vehicles, they simply do not have the part and cannot order it. Each time I come here, it's a complete waste of my time, yet other local shops always seem to have the parts (or can order them). read more

I brought my bike in because it was running rough and wouldn't start and to get it inspected. They kept it a week and told me it was ready. When I got there, it started but it was in worse shape than when I dropped it off!!! They broke my left mirror and wouldn't admit it. They failed the inspection because of decorative duct tape??? Duct tape that has passed inspection for 2 years. And while the bike started, it was STILL running rough!!!! What a waste of time and money. And they passed inspection on a bike with dirty plates. I will never go back there and strongly recommend that everyone else stays away as well. read more

Moroney's was one of my favorite stops and then I happened in one day looking to dump some cash here but it would seem no one could be bothered to stop doing nothing and assist me. The place was like a ghost town with the exception of the staff. The place is crowded with an overstock of Harley's and lacks organization. I felt like I was walking through a maze just to move around. I know Moroney's isn't one of the new mega dealers that are going up everywhere, but I have been to some which have smaller shops and seem to keep everything organized and have a good selection in stock. You would think that since they had to move all the non American brand bikes into another building that would have expanded the Harley apparel and accessories instead of leaving the empty space vacant. I might give them another try some day but not just yet. read more

I purchased my first bike here during the off season back in March. It was a used metric bike. I tell you this to establish a reference point. I worked with Eric on the sale and he was awesome. Eric was friendly, easy to talk to, and patient throughout the transaction. I also purchased all the necessary personal equipment here as well, minus gloves. We broke down on the side of the road, called Moroney's right before they closed and they will pick up the motorcycle first thing in the morning. Well they painted and gave me a brand new lid. The other water spots came off and the bike looks good. They also ordered new lightbars for the rear fender. Although they were put on upside down and not affixed properly to the inside of the bag, I took the bike and ran. They also gave me a new hid injection head light. They didn't even Aim it. While riding home the beam was facing upwards. Lol. I learned a very valuable lesson and will never ever buy a bike, or let them service anything I own. The guy in the service dept was very apologetic but is trapped in a world of chaos where obviously no one cares. Lessons learned and my regular bike shop fixed the lights and adjusted the lightbars. Good people with poor leadership. They can be the best around but choose not too. read more

My experience with Maroney's was amazing ! My wife called Denise and set up a trade 2011 street Gide and bought 2014 street glide special . When I got thier I was treated like customer should be treated . I was on my way quickly and the transaction went on without a hitch. I love my new bike . My experience with Moroney's was absolutely great! I called on 09/25 and spoke to Denise. Denise transferred me to the Yamaha service department (I own a VSTAR 1100) and I spoke to Greg. Greg was very cordial and told me from the beginning I would have to leave my bike until the next day (oil change / filter, NYS inspection, minor electrical work (wiring for the already mounted passing lights), and installation of "sounds of chrome" speaker system (purchased on ebay). I called back and spoke to Denise. I explained to Denise I had no way of getting back home if I left the bike overnight. I explained to Denise I was willing to take public transportation but that I was unfamiliar with the local bus stops. Denise stated "no problem. Once you're here we will find someone to drive you to the local bus stop." So off I went and rode my bike to moroney's. At my arrival, I met Greg at the intake desk. Greg was informative and listened to all my questions and requests. I asked Greg if they could have my bike ready by 12 noon the next day. Greg stated he would try his best. After leaving the service area I went back to the main building. Denise personally escorted me to the parking lot where I met Sal. Sal drove me to the bus stop (about 1.5 miles away). During my escort, Sal was pleasant and demonstrated a good attitude. On 09/26, at approximately 11 am, I received a telephone call from Rachel. Rachel stated that my bike was ready for pickup. Shortly after, I arrived at Moroney's. I went straight to the Yamaha service department and spoke to Rachel and Greg. After taking care of my bill ($316), Greg pointed me towards my bike and away I went. SUMMARY: Even if I were given a better price elsewhere, Moroney's customer service played a DEFINITIVE ROLE IN EARNING my business. In a world where employees don't have a concept of what customer service ought to be, Moroney's, at least for this experience, made a difference. read more

This place is a complete rip off!!!brought my quad there to get fixed because it was over heating and tires had slow leaks.got my atv back and it still over heated for a 2k service charge and tires were still leaking!so I brought it back and they tried to give me another bill for 600? I have been coming here for years, mostly to window shop as I have 4 kids that come first. While I ended up getting my personal bike elsewhere, and it was only because I couldn't say no, I did buy my girlfriend's bike here. The staff was always attentive, and when I made the purchase, everyone I dealt with was terrific every step of the way. I still come in frequently to window shop and get parts and clothes and I always have a great experience. This is probably the WORST service for ATVs ever. 6 years ago, I took my Yamaha here for service. For an oil change. That's it. They had my machine for over a month. After freaking out on them, I got the machine back AND a $100 gift card from the manager. So I didn't go back for 6 years. Finally I decided to give them a second chance. I heard it was all new workers and management. Plus I had that gift card. So I tried again. Called in July and they said they were busy. Talked to angel and he said August would be better. I said that's perfect because I'm going on vacation from the 11th to the 18th. So I dropped it off on the 7th of August for fluid change and a new winch. That's it. I get back from vacation and they didn't even order the winch yet. They claimed all fluids were done. Well, two more weeks and another freakout on my part and I got my machine back. However they didn't keep it indoors like I always do so there's rust and water where there shouldn't be. Also, they OBVIOUSLY backed it into something because the back number is scraped and dented up. These guys shouldn't have the right to be a dealer. I'm considering calling Yamaha and the BBB to launch a complaint. This place is consumed by unprofessionals. NEVER going back. read more

I have finally given up all hope in Moroney's. I refuse to get my motorcycle serviced there because of the ridiculous prices and being ripped off in the past (one example being $85 to mount two sportbike tires, with rims off the bike; double what other shops charge). I recently purchased a new chain and the master link was missing from the package. While I was waiting for the link to come, I figured I'd get a spare, just in case something happened while putting it on. I ordered a black master link for my black chain and was told it'd be just a couple days. A week went by and still no call so I called them. It appeared that my part was there and they forgot to call me to let me know. When I went to pick it up, the girl behind the counter threw the master link on the counter, tossed the receipt in my direction, and said, "here's your receipt". No eye contact, no thanks or any sort of good-bye. As I was leaving I noticed that the master link was silver and not black. I didn't even bother going back in and dealing with their "customer service", it was just a spare after all. It did completely feel like I was a bother or pest for picking up my part. I will avoid buying anything or pay for any type of service, no matter what the circumstance, from Moroney's. I guess I know why they always seem less busy each time I go there. read more

I'll give Moroney's one star for the only two people I have any use for, and they are Denise and Jamie. Recently, I went to the Service Department for Rotors. When the bike was done the Rotors looked used, there was grease all over my wheel, and my wheel bearing looked rusty. I voiced my concern and was told that bikes get wet by the girl in the service department. I looked at every bike new and used and could not find one with rusty wheel bearings on the lot. If this was an older bike, maybe, but only two years old and garage kept, I don't think so! More recent I went in for New Tires and to Dump some More Money on other things. The Young Woman in the Service Department said she had them in stock.. so I asked to see them but she was more interested in eating her ice cream, telling customers that she doesn't pull parts out of her butt, and told me her shoulder hurt. I asked if she would like me to get them with her, she said no, parts would get them. She told me the tires are out in Parts Department for me to check out. After waiting for about an hour in total the parts guy closest to the service department said I don't have them in stock and I'm not getting them. At this point I lost my patients, through up my hands and just walked out of the store. I'm in the Service Business and if this were my business a few people would have been fired that day. When you spend a premium for a product and get sub-standard service it tells me that America is in trouble. I guess I'm used to the service I get from BMW read more
