I had been to 13 car dealerships, yes 13, before finding Palisades Auto. When I called (to inquire if the particular car that I was looking for) was still available, I was greeted with professionalism and I set up an appointment time. When I arrived, the car was ready for test drive and cleaned up for me. This was amazing to me. I think I had lowered my standard due to the disappointing experiences I was having, but the GM met the expectation that I always had, but was not receiving. Gunther is the General Manager here, and the person I dealt with, and from start to finish, he was prompt, reliable, professional and honest. Gunther did not give me a hard push for the sale as the other dealerships did, nor did he require that I had to lock in a deposit as other dealerships did...if I was interested in the car. I decided that I wanted the car and that I was going to have my mechanic inspect it. He was open to the idea, and also gave me the information in full detail of the car fax and work that had already been done on the car. My mechanic called out a few minor things that Gunther took care of right away, took photos immediately and sent them to me. How amazing is that! I ended up buying the car. When I arrived to pick it up, the car was shining brightly, had a full tank of gas, and Gunther showed my son how to set up the tech stuff. He stayed in touch when the plates came in, and made sure all was sent in a timely manner. The best GM and dealership in my opinion throughout the NJ, NY area. My son loves his car and his friends do too.

I noticed everyone was busy doing whatever they are focusing on but if a customer walked into my business I make it a point to say something. Poor customer service today . I spent 8 minutes in the store and when no one acknowledged me I left. I traveled from Long Island to check out your selection on motorcycles and scooters but I guess they are making enough money that customers walking into there store is not priority. Come on guys I walk into a dealership and I usually purchase something. After today I will definitely not recommend going here to purchase anything. Customer service is why we go to work!!!! Go figure so I drop it off tell em to check the valves and clean the carb/and jet it properly. I knew I had no rear brakes (and my front brake needed to be changed) long story short. (He performed an oil change/greased the fittings/fixed my shifter assembly (the main reason I was there) and never gave him (Cory) "BIG GOONIE "hey you guyyyyssss" look-a-like mf to do any other work except the carb/valves because they were too tight. Granted at one point they DO Do MAGNIFICENT WORK. I MEAN they've BEEN OPEN OVER 30- semi years so I get a call from this big cockeyed hillbilly that says it's done. OKAY. I ATTEMPT TO PAY OVER THE PHONE I was like why not? No answer that made sense. So I go down there. Oh they cardholders gotta be present-sorry? WHAAAT? It's a credit card. Smh. Anyway so now today I will be picking it up with the cardholder because unfortunately I have too many toys and not enough money and ESPECIALLY NOT 3,000$$$I could've gotten a 660r in better condition or even a banshee for what I paid. 1,800 for the bike snd 3k for maintenance. Cmon. Smh PLEASE EITHER GO TO (MOTORCYCLE MALL IN BELLEVILLE,NJ) THEYRE THE BEST. I called Sal and he said come on in . Since they close at 5pm I figured at least I'd be able to leave the bike inside for the long weekend. When I got there Sal, and his 2 mechanics Jose and Joe all started working on my bike. Even though it went past 5pm they never stopped working until they fixed my bike. They love fixing bikes the way I love riding bikes. It's the beginning of a great weekend and thanks to Sal and his team I'm riding. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my bike

I had a squeak coming from the back of my bike, and I called the shop and they told me to swing…read moreby. When I arrived, Sal stopped what he was doing and inspected my bike. Immediately, he noticed the belt was too tight. He didn't have time to road test it at that time but he told me how to prep the bike and come back first thing in the morning. I followed his instructions. First thing the next day, he met me and took my bike out. We didn't hear the squeak but he told me to wait so he can adjust the belt on the spot! When has a mechanic ever done the work while you watched and waited?!! It was so great that he took the time to talk things through and give me the attention we deserve. When I asked how much I owed, he shrugged and said a number that I couldn't feel comfortable without adding 50%. I highly recommend and I will never go back to the dealer again!
