Played this morning and let me just say that the starter bringing me a complimentary cup of coffee at the first tee box is worth 1 of these stars. I played Legends course today and I was told it was the more scenic of the two courses here. The greens were beat up because people don't fix their divots but they still rolled well and were fast and hard. The fairways and tee boxes were in nice shape as well but you can tell that this course has seen better days as it is starting to show its age and lack of care. Some of the hole signs were showing age as well as the snack shack at the turn (which does not appear to be in use). All in all, the views are nice on this course and its certainly worth $69. Major kudos to the starter because I have played 4x the amount to play other courses and no one brought me coffee. read more

Had lunch with my wife here today. The food was great and decently priced. The view is fantastic. The pro shop is finally stocked which is great they even have a decent cigar selection (not a lot, just about 8 really good cigars to choose from). The clubhouse is very nice and has a full restaurant and bar. I can't wait to go back with my friends in the summer to smoke cigars on the patio with some stiff drinks. pretty good odds we will get kicked out. read more

I haven't been to many golf clubs in the area but this course was definitely worth the $20 I paid for it. Course is relatively easy, the sands could have been better manicured and the greens are about a 7 rating. I still scores above 100, I need to work on my game. read more

Played the Champions course this morning. They have a small 'shop' by the cart area to check in that you could call the pro-shop. No food except for protein or snack type bars and NO coffee. I repeat no coffee. The snack bar is closed as is the upstairs bar. We did not see the cart wagon until the 17 hole. Not good service at all. The course itself is in great shape and is a tough track. Fair but a tough go with very nice and tough greens. I would give a higher rating for the course but you can't serve coffee to your guests .... read more

3 things. No excuse outside staff not attentive, helpful or aware. Starter was great. Second course was not in good shape. Soaked in places, bunkers full of water in August??? Dryed up fairways. Lastly and I won't return because of this the blasted carts turn off when you are in the places you need to be. It is maddening. Once I think on 11 of the champions right down the fairway. Irritating can't stand it that course is so beat what is the difference anyway. These courses used to be premiere. Phenomenal design. Boy has this place gone downhill. I remember when this place was the gem of the Inland Empire. The service was good but the condition was a 2 at best. I believe I lost a ball in the fairway because it went down a gopher hole. Greens were hammered and just over all a bad experience. read more

After a round of golf had lunch in the club house. I have eaten here many times after a golf tournament and the food has always been good buffet style servings. ..bbq tri tip, chicken, ribs, Taco bar..never has been a let down. ..So today I ordered off the menu and again was not let down with my Bbq bacon cheese burger with onion rings. The service here is very good and friendly . My friend had the Fish and chips and said it was very good! Sorry didn't get a picture of the meal...The Restaurant is open to the public and have dinner and early bird specials also a good " Happy Hour" on beer and well drinks. .. read more

The course it self is great HOWEVER you would think that after everything you pay for for a round of golf, they would have the bar & restaurant available for players after the round. They NEVER have it open to golfers it's always closed for a private event. You would think they would open up another bar for the golfers if they had a private event but I guess there not that smart. Purchased unlimited play through Under Par. Called & got early tee time of 7:40, lady scheduled 12:30 second tee time. We completed our first round and checked in for second time & Manager said not in books! Acknowledged that girl works but he did not have us penned in. We have confirmation email with 12:30 tee time and were still denied. Offered 2:50 as an option. Manager would not make it right even though we had email confirmation! Will not play here again. The worst managed golf course today, 3 hours and 15 minutes for 9 holes, zero marshals out there, groups were playing very slow, not playing ready golf, no one to manage the pace of play. Treatment today was far below par!! I play this course 3 to 4 times a week and can't belive the way things happened today beginning with golf staff Marshall and pro desk staff! Purchased unlimited play through Underpar. Booked morning round and afternoon round for replay. Received email with confirmation tee times. 7:40 am and 12:30 pm. After completing first round, went to check in for afternoon round. Was told that we were not in the computer for said tee time even though we had a confirmation email from them. They still would not budge and honor our afternoon tee time. Very poor customer service. Needless to say, I will not golf here again. read more

I have been coming here for many years; long before it was owned by Morongo Casino. I prefer the Legends course, as it is more fun. Most people believe that the Champions course is tougher. You can usually count on a fast round compared to LA golf courses. It's not always perfectly maintained but I truly do enjoy my golf here. read more

My wife and I played the Legends course on a Sunday at 10:45, we went early to practice but the range was closed due to the picker being broken so we went to the bar. The pro shop told us there was a 5 minute frost delay, when we went to the 1st tee the starter informed us it was a half hour delay. They paired us with a local couple who were members, they were very fun and a wealth of knowledge on the course. I knew we were in for a long loop but 5 and a half hours? The course is great! Excellent layout, fairways and greens but the sand traps are the worst I've ever seen! Most were construction dirt holes filled with rocks and standing water! you literally can't get under the ball it's so hardpac. Staff is very friendly and the club house is beautiful. I'm sure my rating will improve when the sand traps are fixed. read more

I love to go here for the golf atmosphere. They have great food and service. Brunch is amazing. I have helped with a few charities here.

My wife had the Special Turkey dinner...one of the M,T,W Specials for $8.95 including cheesecake for dessert. There was nobody eating but my wife and I. Therefore, the Service was great. The turkey dinner was gigantic! Well worth the $8.95 price. I had the Hawaiian Pullled Pork sandwich...$8.95...it was fine. There are five items on the Mon, Tue, & Wed Specials, all sounded good. They were out of meatloaf, however. The dinner menu pricing runs $18.000 - $32.00. I don't know about those meals but I'll try eating there again and write another review. The dining area overlooks the golf course...a beautiful sunset setting. I would say this place is one of the nicer places to eat in Beaumont; a city that lacks a variety of 'GOOD' restaurants. read more

Played at Tukwet on Friday morning with some friends from So Cal. Great course, but the marshal was rude and even drove out to yell at us about staying off the fairway even though there was no signage or advisement. We are adults and grown professional men and not a bunch of drunk A holes, but the guy just argued with us stating that he told us when we teed off. Wrong!! Not my 1st time on a nice course "douche bag." I would had rated the experience higher, but the golf marshal was rude and unprofessional. Hey dude, if you hate your job driving around in a golf cart at a beautiful course, quit!!! Sorry you had a bad day and you slept on the couch the night prior, but no reason to act like a A hole. Even the other marshal said the guy was out of line. read more

I hosted a bachelor party this past weekend and although I am not much of a golfer, the bachelor loves golf as do most of my friends. The group was staying at Morongo for the weekend so why not play on their golf course? The course resides about 15 min away from the hotel in the city of Beaumont. Beaumont isnt much of a city, its kind of an arm pit so i didn't have high expectations for this course. To my and my groups surprise (18 golfers) the course was actually very nice and well kept. There are 2 courses to play on "legends" or "championship". Our group played on the championship course and it was very nice with great scenic views. They had plenty of challenging holes and the course was well kept and the greens were clean and in good shape. The clubhouse was nice and clean and they had a nice bar with a good amount of TV's. The clubhouse food was very good too and in general the waitress and all of the staff treated us well and were very nice and attentive. In conclusion, I was very pleased with my experience at the Morongo golf course. The hotel shuttled my whole party to and from the course and the course was nice and so was the entire staff. I highly recommend playing at this course if you are a hotel guest who likes to golf or if you are just a golfer looking to try a new course. Check it out! read more

I knew we were in for a long day when the starter -- a man in his seventies -- looked at my shorts and asked "Are those jeans?" When I assured him that my golf shorts from Uniquelo were not denim, he then commented that my shirt (an Under Armour whick dry golf shirt) didn't have a collar, but he'd let me play anyway. Thanks, buddy and keep shopping at Walmart for your dorky old-man garb. It got worse from there. What they call "natural environment", I call weeds. This course is just plain ugly, with virtually every fairway surrounded by dried-up weeds or home construction sites. Reminds me of playing in Mexico. Every greenside bunker has a mean lip overhang. And it wouldn't hurt to buy a few more rakes to enable players from taking a long walk around to find the only rake on most bunkers, even the big ones. The worst part was they let a family with a toddler jump in front of us on #10, who held us up for 2 holes, then moved behind us and kept hitting into us. The marshall didn't care. It didn't matter to him that they were ruining our round. Go to Oak Valley instead. read more

The view and the greens are as good as it gets. Fairways were "fair" at best. "Bunkers" were some of the worst I've ever played out of. They were just hard dirt. But the biggest complaint, yes it does have GPS in the carts, but every one of the pin placements were incorrect on the GPS which made it very difficult to know where your distance was. And when it was brought up to the personnel assigning the carts and the pro shop personnel, they did not want to hear about it. Ask for a manager, and they didn't know who the manager was. For $70 green fees there are alot better places to play nearby. It doesn't warrant $70. Green fees. read more

If I could, I would give ZERO STARS! Played Legends on 5/30/2020. Now I know businesses have been challenged during Covid but seriously Tukwet what are you thinking??? We have played here before as we don't live too far away. Last time we played we were concerned then about the conditions but today good lord...apparently Tukwet doesn't give a flying flip about the appalling nasty conditions of the course or how SCARY FILTHY and in disrepair the bathrooms are. The carts were seriously dirty!!! Not just our cart...every cart...you could see dirt from tip to tail...no way they were sanitized. They are not in compliance with Covid regulations at all. We have been golfers for 40 years plus and we are golfing again in the Palm Springs area after the reopening. We golf numerous courses in the PS area and you can see the measures those golf courses are taking to comply and carts at all courses have been cleaner than we have ever seen them. It was extremely shameful what we saw today at Tukwet. To add insult to injury we had to wait to tee off because last minute the owner had shoved in his guests (two groups) ahead of us and pace of play was soooooo slow. We saw a Marshall at the first tee but nowhere on the course after that. To say the least I will not hesitate to tell anyone not to waste their golf dollars at Tukwet and we will never ever ever go back to that pathetic excuse for a golf course. read more

This is a great golf course but watch your valuables. I had my valuables pouch stolen from my golf bag while playing in a charity tournament. Someone had to watch me put my things in there. Three holes into the tournament, I went to my bag to get money out to make a donation and the zipper was half down. I realized it was gone right away and notified everyone. Not one person saw a thing. The staff was not very helpful in trying to locate anything. I called every single day and not one single piece of my property was recovered. The people in the Pro Shop said they didn't have any items in the lost and found but when we questioned them further, they opened a drawer that had several rangefinders, keys, wallets and sunglasses. We looked around and saw that they have cameras. The camera that overlooks the bag-drop is directly behind a tree and has no view of anything. Be very vigilant and aware if you go there to play. Don't trust the employees either. read more

The course was in fine shape, but it took 25 minutes to check in due to the course's computer not recoginizing my prepaid receipt. The golf carts continuously interrupt you while driving by making meaningless announcements and stopping for no reason. The advertisements on the screen are just offensive. The worst was the cart telling me I was too close to the green, when I was 100 yards from it. Too bad a great day was ruined by incompetence and the managements micromanagement of the carts. read more

We went to the restaurant for lunch and really enjoyed it. Classy atmosphere (especially for Beaumont) and a pretty view of the golf course. The food was very good. I had a Pastrami sandwich with onion rings. The sandwich was loaded with meat and very tasty. The onion rings were the best I've had in quite some time. My wife had the smoked salmon quesadilla special and she raved about how good it was. Just an FYI-asked the waitress about Sunday brunch and she said that it had been discontinued. read more

An hour and a half from West Hollywood. For $25 on a Sunday afternoon, I'm not sure there's a better value in Southern California. Beautiful course in the foothills. Challenging greens that roll true, and fairways that are in relatively good shape (some brown spots and weeds, but not enough to complain about). The club house feels a little forgotten, but I've come here for golf three times, and haven't been disappointed. If you want to get out of LA, and you don't mind a little drive up the 10, then make this your next Sunday afternoon golf trip. read more

Very nice facility.. Right when u get there they pick u up and drive u to the club house.. Free range balls on a nice driving range No Mats real grass... I played Champions course which is real challenging so be prepared... Price was great and staff were friendly.. The fairways were plush green.. We went for dinner and enjoyed it. Shrimp scampi was delicious, crab cakes were pretty good. Crab cakes were overcooked but tasty. Sides were yummy. Service was good, although food came out a bit slowly. Atmosphere was ok. The partitions separating the bar from the restaurant and restaurant from the other part of the place were strange but the view was nice. Live music was a pretty nice touch, although it was similar to elevator music. I guess that's because of the older crowd in there. Very nice building, too. I would recommend it. read more
