TRUFFLE BUTTER!!!!......YUMMMMMMMM A food truck that uses truffle butter for there grilled cheeses.....who in there right mind wouldn't like that?????? Bumped into this truck in Williamsburg, while on my way to take the doggie baby to the dog run at McCarran park. Truck dudes are friendly. Truck is pretty cool looking and most importantly looks pretty darn clean. the menu: soups, grilled cheeses, dessert and "house made" soda. I had the Gouda with bacon....YUMMM. They have all kinds of great stuff......fresh mozzarella, purple basil pesto, lamb sausage, peking duck and ale cheddar. They also have gluten free options if your into that. Lost a star because its a little pricey. Grill cheeses start at 5.50 but go all the way up to 10 bucks. They are big, but at the end of the day.....its still a grilled cheese and it still a truck!

This is a cool food truck, menu is focused on grilled cheeses. I got a classic, cheddar on white bread. Slices of bread are huge. Dudes serving it up are cool, they were closing when I got there, but took my order anyway. Grilled cheese was really good, just a little too much butter for my taste. My classic was 5.50....its bread and cheese rite????? My girl got a different kind with bacon, that one was about 8 bucks. Truck looked really clean and organized, not like most food trucks.

Hands down some of the best grilled cheese I've ever had, and the guys that work the truck are hilarious! I had the "Delicate Cheese", and how could you say no to a grilled cheese with truffle butter and caramelized onions? The cheese is rich and gooey and they really slather on the butter. As other reviews mention, they press it down a lot so the sandwich appears thin, but it's filling enough for lunch. 4 stars only because $10 is still very high for bread+butter+cheese, no matter how "gourmet" it is.

Bummer they are outta the eggplant one I want!

Some really solid goodies here at Morris Grilled Cheese Truck, can't wait to come back and try their Ricotta (Roasted Eggplant and Peppers + Basil + Sesame), but they were already sold out by the time I got there. My second choice was the Delicate Cheese (Truffle Butter + Truffle Cheese + Caramelized Shallots) just because I like to think truffle makes the world a better place. Did not go wrong with this sandwich, a real heart-warming heap of melted ooey-gooey cheese between two thick slabs of some kinda amazing bread. Recommended? Yes, but I would highly recommend it for the colder-weather days because this is the PERFECT comfort food. Oh, and beware of the itis that accompanies this sandwich.

Delicious option for street food, if you can find the funky grilled cheese truck. I had the classic with cheddar and landaff cheese. For $5.75 the sandwich was quite a deal, bursting with cheesy goodness. The kettle chips weren't quite up to par, and I wasn't blown away by the homemade root beer. (I should have gotten the Mexican Coca-Cola with real sugar!) Minor quibbles wouldn't prevent me from visiting the Morris Truck again. Very good grilled cheese!

This is another food truck that we found at the Airbnb Brooklyn Half Pre-Party at the Brooklyn Bridge Park. Since one of us really love grilled cheese sandwich, we just had to try it. We got the grilled gouda with bacon. Wow! It is so amazingly delicious! Crunchy bread, melted cheese, mmm..mmm... we're hungry from just thinking about it. $9, decent size sandwich. Great for a snack! The girls inside the truck was friendly, nice, & polite. Highly recommended!

    Green machine was amazing!!!

Absolutely amazing people and food. We hired the Morris Truck to cater our wedding of 140 people. We got 150 sandwiches that they made over 5 hours. They set them on trays and people took what they wanted. EVERYONE loved the grilled cheeses. They're super filling. 1 sandwich will fill a hungry person. We had plenty of leftovers. I can't recommend this enough. 1 truck handled everyone with pretty much no line. And everyone was super pumped about the food. Great great job.

None of the Americanized Mexican Trucks and Restaurants have that specific cut of meat and frankly, it's my favorite by far so when I saw it on the menu in this truck as I was passing by, I had to give it a shot. It's honestly really easy to tell whether or not the tongue is done well because it's either tender and delicious with a slight bounce, or it's excessively chewy and bland, and I'm glad to say that this is the former. Everything else is just baseline good quality, from the wrap to the rice and beans and all the fixings inside as well. While definitely not the biggest burrito I've ever had, it's a pretty good size overall so I can't really complain.

But anyway, it's now Morelos (one of my favorite spots from Sunset Park). My friend and I were turned away from late night pizza, so this was our consolation prize. Scratch that, this should've been the first place prize. Like so many taco places in NYC, they've leaned into making birria tacos. We asked if they were any good, and they were wishy-washy about it, so we didn't order them. Got some al pastor and cochinita pibil tacos instead. While we were waiting for them, the guy we spoke to actually gave us a sample of the birria. I know it was the end of the night, but super nice of him! Also... he was right. Don't get them. The al pastor and cochinita pibil ones, however, were pretty solid. Never had cochinita pibil before, but it might be my new favorite. Will definitely be back on another one of my drunken escapade nights!

I went on a Friday evening around 9:30pm. It was still fairly busy inside, but it was mostly people grabbing to-go orders. After ordering I snagged a spot at the counter. There's extremely limited seating, so I wouldn't bank on eating at the restaurant when it's busy. Be prepared to take your food to go. I got the Nene's Deluxe, which comes with a taco, a mulita, and an empanada - all with Birria of course. It was all delicious. The mulita was at the bottom of the box and got completely soaked with Birria. It was extremely messy to eat. Get plenty of napkins. I also got a side of fries and nacho cheese, because it was a long week and I deserved it. They had a seasonal strawberry horchata as well. This was okay. I also think I might just not love horchata in general. This meal definitely hit the spot. The Birria and consommé were top notch. I would return in a heartbeat.

Whenever friends visit my area, I consider this place one of the staples that I'll bring them to. In the summertime, I have even made use out of their limited seating outdoors. Usually, the service is fairly straightforward--you order, get your receipt then move down to the window and wait for your name to be called. Not much pleasantries but they get the job done. However, today I had an experience that left a poor taste in my mouth and honestly will put me off from going back for at least a while. When I went up to order, I asked for "the combo with birria tacos and consome", the cashier confirmed with me if I wanted "just Birria tacos? Or the combo?", I replied, "right, the birria taco combo." I think trying to be overly explicit led to the misunderstanding, because I got my order with only 3 Birria tacos. When I asked about the missing consome, she repeatedly insisted that I said no to the combo. After prolonged back and forth, she asked if I want consome, and when I said yes, she proceeded to ring it up on its own for $4. The thing is, I had already pulled out a dollar to cover it, as it's only a 50 cent difference between the combo and 3 tacos alone. I pointed this out, to which she shoved the consome at me with a look of disgust and told me she didn't want the money. I left the dollar in the tip jar anyway, but I felt uncomfortable from the exchange and also that it held up the delivery drivers and other patrons waiting in line to order.
