I googled what factors determine a good, honest jeweler? How do I know the repair work is good and the stones didn't get switched. Well, I walked into the corner jeweler here in town and as soon as I walked in this was the guy, the place. M wanted a stone and setting improvement on her mother's ring, So here we are. Ali the owner is a lovely man, he's got the knowledge, the inventory, and the personality to make me feel good about his jewelry business. Ha yes here's what we'll do... M also brought in a digital watch that needed a battery. That was taken care of in minutes, and the altered ring was promised with in a week. Excellent. He has repaired a few items for me over time always well executed and reasonably charged I have a Seiko watch that stopped & I shipped it to Seiko for repairs and they refused claiming it was too old & they no longer had parts for it. Dropped a ring off for resizing and picked it up within 4 days! The same employees greeted me both times (drop off and when I picked it up). They had such a warmth to them, I found them very lighthearted and kind. My ring looks great and I am pleased! Will be going back. Prices also reasonable! read more

Simple chain repair. But I could've lost the floating diamond. They did a good job. He also creates jewelry so I will be taking a few little loose diamonds and such in to see what we can come up with . Don't be in a rush though. Communication on the phone could be better like returning calls left on the machine. read more

Sadly I would give zero stars if I could, I highly recommend going to a different local jeweler store. My boyfriend bought me an expensive ring, in the low $200 which was a fair price considering he was informed there was free repairs for the first year. Knowing sterling silver is a very soft material I was happy to know I would be able to take the ring in if something was to happen. When out on a walk my dogs collar got beneath my ring and lifted it slightly upwards. I took my ring in for a drop off fix, a little after a week it happen and was told by an elderly lady it was going to take a week to fix & would be $20 which I was discouraged by but didn't say anything yet. I later received message stating it was going to be $30, and it still wasn't fixed about two weeks after I dropped it off. I didn't hear back from them for six weeks until I made an appearance in the store. The ring was still not fixed and the elderly lady insisted it would now be $40. I explained I was told there were free repairs, she irritatingly try to say my dog got a hold of it and chewed on it when that is absolutely not what happen. She then proceeded to say, " I can't repair this for free when you're so rough on things." Very unprofessional and disrespectful as she was just trying to justify her untruthful warranty and frankly was just trying to get more money. I understand business is slow this past year since covid but charging customers for lack of business is just simply not okay. Again, my boyfriend and I love to support small businesses as he owns one himself, but unfortunately this is not the place to go! read more

Being third generation Gemologist/Jeweler's daughter, I was shocked to see how much they charged my husband for his necklace repair. It was a simple eye soldering job and then add a jump ring. The pendant in question was stainless steal, not even real silver. A few cents maybe? A couple of bucks? (I've worked in Jewelry my entire life and have NEVER charged someone, let alone a local, that much money for that tiny of a repair. The eye was soldered on in the opposite direction and no jump ring. The whole reason we took it to be repaired was because the original jump ring had almost been sawed in two from the chain dragging back and forth on it. Hence why the jump ring needed to be put on so we could replace IT instead of having to do this again when the chain does the same thing to this. And it took 2 weeks! ). The entire necklace didn't cost that much!!! I am appalled to say the least. Never again. read more
