I've been with this clinic for about 5 years. They have turned into a pathetic clinic that is only…read moreout for your money. They refused to approve a prescription for my dogs worm meds. He takes them on the third of the month. His annuals are this month on the 16th. I placed the order on the 28th of the month prior to his annuals. The vet refuses to approve saying they won't approve until his appointment on the 16th. So, they're forcing him to be late 2 weeks. Yea, and of course they didn't tell me of their decision, I had to call when petmeds sent me an email saying they hadn't heard from the vet. They did the same thing with the 3 year rabies. He was due for the booster but they couldn't make the appointment until 3 days past his exact 3 year. When I got there they said they couldn't continue the 3 year booster because of that 3 days. Ridiculous. Finally, when I told them I was taking my dogs to another vet they didn't care at all. I pine for the day that vets cared about your pets.

You can tell that Dr. Boyd is actively listening and is very honest with her observations of your babies. The staff is very observant and sensitive to parent's concerns. One of the staff members even made sure to ask to make sure that we had our cat's bow tie because we removed it halfway during the visit. Lots of parking and easy to find, it's next to the plaza with stores like Admiral Cleaners. Prescription medication is on hand so you go home with next step meds. $87 for a visit but core vaccines are provided free currently as a promotion. The only downside is that they charge a 3% surcharge on credit card payments - which adds up especially if you have a high bill.

The pharmacy placed my rx 'on file' on my dog's profile. When I returned from travel to pick it up, i was informed that it was returned to stock. Upon attempting to refill it, they realized the prescription had expired by 2 days. Legally, in the state of GA, (non-controlled prescriptions expire one year from the date it was written). In an effort to get a new rx from my vet, thoroughly communicating what happened with the pharmacy, they refused to send in a new rx. My dog was due for a yearly exam(it had only been 2 days past the last annual visit). This was not good customer service, nor did this show compassion. I will be looking for another vet. Emphasis on (ONLY 2 days had passed since the previous year's annual visit for my pet. Therefore, due to travel; I had not yet had the opportunity to schedule a visit for my pet! The refill had expired after the pharmacy erroneously returned it to stock. An authorization was needed from the vet to re-activate the Refill on Simparica Trio(which lasts 6 months!). A lot of vets are making it challenging to receive prescriptions because pet owners are having their fur babies' Rx's filled at local pharmacies instead due to lower costs.
