Mathew came out and based on the captured "termites" I showed him, the history of the house, the behavior of other "termites" we've seen and other assessments; he quickly determined they were ants and not termites! He explained a lot of the differences between the two and it all made sense. After all this, no charge! I love it when a local company is passionate, honest and knowledgeable about what they do. I would hesitate wasting your time with these people. I contacted them for a termite inspection on a home that I was about to list for sale, and they came out and evaluated the property and advised me they would have pricing to fumigate the buildings. This has been several months ago and I still have not received a report or estimate to provide the work. What is even more frustrating is that I have called at least 5 times asking about the status of the estimate, and they always tell me the same thing - "Let me call Matt (the guy who came out) and I will get back to you", but no one ever does. The last time I called and spoke with Christy, who to her credit always answers the phone, and explained to her my frustration at their lack of follow through, and she starts yelling at me saying "That's all I can do is to call Matt and tell him". So glad I called Morse Pest! Sheila was very polite on the phone while setting up my appointment and the tech Dan showed up on time on the day of. Dan inspected my home, found termites and recommended a treatment plan. Then we got to the money part. The price Dan gave me a written quote for was HALF what a "big name" company was going to charge me and the treatment plan was actually more comprehensive than what the "big name company" had proposed. On the day of the treatment once again Dan showed up on time and got right down to business. When he finished he explained what he had done, what to expect and how it all works getting rid of the termite colony. I am a current renter and my landlord has the actual pest control service through Morse. I have had an issue with Tim when I'm not available at home since I have dogs, I have to coordinate service at my residence. Tim told me there would be no problem scheduling an appointment and that I could call him personally on his cell phone. When I did call the first time, he never returned my call. I called two weeks later and still no return call. Instead I received a text stating that my landlord could be charged more if he had to come out again, even though he told me before it would be no problem. I don't appreciate being lied to and then told by text that additional charges could apply. When I finally did speak to Matt the owner of Morse, he promised to come out between the hours of 3-5. This is not his normal route and when he arrived and I was letting him know where to spray and where not to spray( my dog has an auto immune disease and the grass cannot be sprayed because he eats it), Matt said he would not service my house because he was now concerned my dog would get ill. Mind you I have been a tenant at this house for nearly 5 years and Tim has been spraying here for almost the entire time I've been a tenant. I don't think Matt really wanted to come out in the first place. Very poor customer service. This is no way to treat my landlord who has been a loyal customer for many years. I personally do not recommend this business due to poor customer service and mere unreasonableness. read more

We recently had a termite diagnosis in our home. Not knowing who to call we started checking reviews on Yelp. Some businesses wanted from $50-$350 just to tell us we had termites, which we already knew! I decided to call Morse Termite and of course there was no charge for coming out to inspect our home. Tim did an excellent job of inspecting then explaining what was going on and what we needed. This business is totally professional and respectful of our home. I wish I could give 10 stars to this company. I've been with Morse for over 10 years in 3 different homes and I will never switch. They're professional and yet feel like family to me. If I have a concern between services (ants or spiders in the garage) a quick phone call gets a tech out within a day or so to treat inside my house or garage. No extra charge. Owner Doug Morse is one of the most smart and honorable men I've ever known in my life. He did a termite job in 2004 at my home and have never had a single termite since.
