However, having…read morethe Palm Desert office as the only available OBGYN location in the entire Coachella Valley is a major hardship. For working mothers, taking an entire day off work just for a doctor's appointment is unsustainable, especially with such rigid scheduling options. We constantly hear about declining birth rates, yet there is a severe lack of flexible healthcare support for working moms. It is frustrating that neither local nor federal government initiatives have addressed this shortage to provide more clinics with actual doctors available. The care is good, but the accessibility is ridiculous!!!!!

When I got a hold of the office they informed me if I didn't take this apt at the new location I couldn't be seen till May. Mind you it's March and my apt is/was in April. So now what my PCP told me needed to be checked sooner rather than later is now being pushed out 5 months from its original apt.. if whatever you need can wait till who knows when I'd say ya try and go here, I hear they are "good".. if you actually need seen I recommend finding somewhere else, here they will just keep rescheduling you.

The forms required us to sign away our income tax return to her in the event our insurance did not cover a treatment. During appointments I never expected such a cold bedside manner, absolutely no empathy whatsoever from her she was cold and had no connection to her patients. I couldn't find another available obstetrician to make the change for delivery doctors, Dr. Pacini has a cold bedside manner zero empathy!. During my delivery she wasn't even present! After I gave birth she walked in the delivery room to take credit. I regret being duked by paid reviews no doubt on google. After about 3 years, I received a bill from this Doctor, Claiming my insurance had not paid for a test called Maternal serum screening. I called my insurance provider and confirmed it was part of prenatal screening and completely covered I provided the proof to her office who dismissed the correspondence 3 years later my tax return had been garnished by this office! I wrote letters I disputed the garnishment but it was too late Dr. Lilia Pacini kept my refund, She had also been paid by my insurance! When I finally received a response from her billing they confirmed she was fully paid the additional fees from by garnishing, Her billing dept charged a $10.00 billing fee to process forms and a $40 fee to fill out the forms! With added fees and interest over 3 years it accumulated to over $300! Although we moved a lot during that time, I can confirm I never got a bill prior to the astronomical bill from her. Although my insurance confirmed payment was made for services she added other fees to get additional pay outs! which she kept along with the lien on our state refund! She's a crook. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone!

For three years, I faced a constant struggle with heavy bleeding that didn't seem to stop. It all…read morebegan when I decided to try hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to manage my health issues. Little did I know that this choice would lead to a chain of problems affecting my wellbeing. At first, I dismissed the heavy bleeding, thinking it was just an adjustment phase. I was busy with my work, making calls and ensuring coverage for people. I kept changing sanitary napkins every hour, feeling drained and weak from the non-stop blood loss. The situation was affecting my energy and health, but I carried on. As time passed, the issue became more serious. I visited many doctors, hoping to find answers. But none could figure out what was happening or how to fix it. The heavy bleeding, weight gain, and loss of nutrients were taking a toll on my body and mind. Then, I met Dr. Hicks, a doctor who finally understood my struggles. He spoke with confidence and assurance, saying we would find a solution. This gave me hope and trust in his expertise. Dr. Hicks did a biopsy the results of which led to a plan for a dilation and curettage ( the D&C procedure ). I felt motivated to get better and agreed to the procedure. It happened within a short time, and for the first time in years, the bleeding stopped. I could finally go about my day without feeling faint. Dr. Hicks wasn't just a doctor; he was also a guide who explained my options and the results of the surgery. He showed care and professionalism, which made me feel comfortable. Now, Dr. Hicks suggests a hysterectomy as the next step. This idea scares me, but I trust his experience and advice. Despite his youthful appearance, he has a kind way of dealing with patients that eases worries. His team at the surgery center also took great care of me during the procedure. Looking back, I'm thankful for this journey. Sharing my experience in this review is important, so others can find help too. Dr. Hicks's dedication and skill deserve recognition, even though the thought of a hysterectomy isn't easy to accept. As I think about the path to recovery, I'm open to hearing from others who might have advice. This journey has been tough, but it led me to regain control over my health. For that, I'm grateful.

You cannot bring a guest to appointments, even prenatal visits, which feels unnecessary and isolating, especially for first time mom's who deserve to have their partner alongside them through the process. They consistently overbook, so plan to wait at least an hour just to be seen. I once waited 2.5 hours past my scheduled prenatal appointment time. The care itself feels rushed and disconnected. The ultrasound tech was cold and clearly unhappy to be there, with no bedside manner at all. Once you're finally called back, you're shuffled from person to person and only get a few rushed minutes with the doctor. It feels more like a conveyor belt than actual care. Communication is just as bad. If you try to call with questions, expect to sit on hold for 30 to 45 minutes before reaching anyone. The biggest red flag for me was scheduling. I originally saw Dr. Nahar, who left the practice. I later booked a yearly appointment with Dr. Garza months in advance, rearranged my entire day to attend, and showed up only to find out my appointment had been canceled and Dr. Garza had also left. I received no call, text, or email notifying me. This was the second doctor I had booked who left the practice, with zero communication. Overall, there is a clear lack of bedside manner, no respect for patients' time, and serious turnover issues among providers. Something is off here. I would not recommend this office. Let the amount of 1-star reviews speak for themselves.
