Last time visiting Redmond we ate at Mo's and we had nice experience and the staff there were so friendly and nice, besides the great food they serve, I wanted to go back again. Got there around 9:15 and it was busy with customers waiting outside for the inside seating while there were some outside tables open if you want to sit outside, we had a 15 min wait before getting buzz that our table was ready. I ordered the Canadian bacon which was slice very thin, but it was delicious and lots of slices and it came with choice of eggs and choice of hash-browns or diced potatoes and choice toast or biscuit & gravy or English muffin. Everything was very good and the portions were very filling. My wife had the corn beef hash which came with Eggs and hash browns and a choice of toast or English muffins or biscuit & gravel. Needed a quick breakfast before heading to work, and this place absolutely delivered.... Service was great, coffee was tasty and hot. The chicken fried steak and eggs, BOMB. Both the CFS and the hashbrowns were surprisingly crispy. And the gravy was awesome. This is where I will be going next time I'm in the area. read more

I decided to stop here for a quick brunch before driving down to the Petersen Rock Garden, largely because of the good reviews. I arrived around 11am on a Thursday to find the place absolutely packed with people! As a lone diner, they were able to fit me right in at the counter seating. I'm not a big eater for breakfast, so I was very relieved when they said they could do a half order of biscuits and gravy. Thank goodness! When they brought out the "half order", the singular biscuit was HUGE. And the bowl of gravy was generous. The biscuit was like a giant version of my Southern born grandmother's biscuits, and the gravy was very traditional and tasty. I looked around at my fellow diners' plates, and the portions all seemed incredible, especially for the prices I saw on the menu. The guy waiting the counter was super friendly and fun to chat with, as was another local to my right. This is 100% that local favorite breakfast place, as evidenced by the packed restaurant at 11am on a Thursday. It's down home and real. Nothing fancy, but the food is honest. read more

This is a wonderfully friendly restaurant. Jacob was our server and he brought everything that was needed especially spicy hot sauces. The corned beef hash has a great. We stopped in for breakfast and enjoyed a great meal with a very local clientele, which to us is usually a very good sign. We were quickly seated and coffee and tea was prompt, followed by what our server referred to as "breakfast chips and salsa" but was actually a delightfully light piece of coffee cake. I had the country fried steak with potatoes and scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy; generous portions and delicious. My wife had the florence italy omelette with hollandaise and thought it superb. We were crazy enough to order pancakes as well, and these and the biscuits were packed up for our condo later or probably tomorrow. The place was decked out with Halloween decorations and it was a fun dining experience. It's a good thing we don't live here or we'd be regulars and my cholesterol off the charts. Our waitress Victoria was very kind, attentive and funny..... and very busy. The food here was delicious, I had an omelet and my wife had a scramble. They have a very nice gal that keeps the water and coffee filled, I wish other places knew how important that is. We didn't get the coffee cake, I think our waitress was just a little too busy and must have forgotten. Probably for the better since I was stuffed to the gills from the eggs and taters obrien! While traveling north for a summer roadtrip, our family popped into Mo's for a quick breakfast. We walked in and were warmly greeted by the staff. We brought along our chocolate lab who they not only accommodated, but doted on:) We were excited about the menu as it included so many delicious options. All of our meals were EXCELLENT! My stepsons had the peaches & cream stuffed French toast and the chocolate chip pancakes. My hubby had a classic breakfast and I had the eggs & lox. We enjoyed the food and service at this little diner today . . . But I did not appreciate finding on my payment ticket after adding a tip that there was an additional 3% " service charge ". This was not seen until final ticket after tip was printed. No notice given, just found it there after all said and done. They ought to let folks know ahead of time with some sort of notice. Where do I start with Mo's?? The atmosphere is very homey and warm. The staff is so nice and definitely makes you feel welcomed. Food - steak and eggs, cinnamon roll French toast and blueberry pancake with ricotta cheese. ALL of the items I ordered were AMAZING. The steak could have been cooked a little less but it was still seasoned well and flavorful. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and made to perfection and the ricotta was a nice touch. But the show stopper was the cinnamon roll French toast. It was so sweet and the perfect comfort food. It's as if Cinnabon made a French toast. Definitely will be craving this one for a while. This place far exceeded our expectations! Ambiance, food, and service! We ordered chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, fried chicken and waffles, crepes, and kids pancakes. I had not read the reviews before coming here so it was such a splendid surprise to receive the complimentary coffee cakes. Coffee is great too. Not your typical diner flavored coffee. This is truly a hole-in-the-wall gem! Love the bar area. We were seated right away for a family of five. We missed the rush so that was awesome timing! Service was all around pleasant as well. Such a delightful place. Will no doubt be returning and rest assured we will become regulars here. I tasted everyone's food and my goodness, they were all scrumptious. My fried chicken was perfectly cooked, seasoned well, and my waffle was unique in that we've only had that type of texture and lightness one other time before in the pleasant SoCal city of Pasadena. What an excellent place to satiate your breakfast appetite! Cute farm house decor add to its appeal! Mo's Egg House offers more than breakfast fare, in fact, their menu is vast! Very much a diner style menu! Lots to choose from AND a free piece of the most delicious and warm coffee cake as an "appetizer"! The 2 egg sausage omelette was huge and way more than what I could finish. It came with hash browns (nice and crispy just like I asked for), and a side of biscuits and gravy. That's the side I chose, there are other options as well. The biscuit was huge and tender. Very good. And the gravy was sublime. Not overly salty and it had nice chunks of sausage in it as well. While visiting Redmond, we decided to try this place for breakfast and that was a great decision! My husband had the country scramble which he said was delicious and he opted for the side of fruit to go with it. The fruit was fresh and good. The child ordered strawberry crepes and absolutely loved them. I ordered the Cajun catfish and eggs with potatoes. The catfish was cooked great but I felt could have used a little more seasoning. The eggs were cooked perfectly (over medium). Both mine and my husband's came with biscuits and gravy on the side. We took those with us as there was no way we could eat all that as well. Our waitress was pretty awesome and even joked a little with us. This place reminds us of one of our favorites from our home area. We love all the decorations added around the place, it gives it a nice homey feel. They even ask if you want a complimentary piece of coffee cake to start with. It was pretty good too. read more

It was that odd hour, eleven. Between breakfast and lunch. We were traveling with our adult son who has some intense needs. He was hungry and the complimentary cinnamon coffee cake hit the spot for him. Our son settled on lunch and ordered a bacon cheese burger. It looked great and was quickly devoured. My wife and I went for breakfast. The portions were solid. I had an omelette which stuffed and it came with a biscuit and gravy for the side. My wife had their basic two eggs with hash browns, bacon and toast. We brought home the biscuit and gravy and leftover potatoes (which were excellent) and had a solid foundation for the next morning's breakfast. The service was friendly and efficient. I had a friend from the coast visiting with me and she wanted to go out to breakfast and I have always enjoyed the food at Mo's Egg House, so we went there for breakfast a bit past 9 am. We each ordered and it did not take long to get our food. Mine was scrambled eggs and hash browns. My friends breakfast was fine but mine was bad. It seems it had been under the warm light for too long and dried out. I could not eat much of it. I did not say anything, we just paid for it and left. Not sure I will be back there again. read more

If I lived close, I would be a regular. I opened the menu and thought, "wow, these are premium prices". Then I saw the "breakfast special": several choices of entree, PLUS COFFEE, for $13. Then, as if it couldn't get better, they brought a surprise free coffee cake. Apparently it comes with every order.
