I had the Super Chili dog. Was wanting the Super Duper Dog with fritos instead of the bun. It was noon or a bit after on a Thursday. They were still waiting for their delivery and did not have fritos... My dad had a basic dog with cheese and some condiments (he's picky). He enjoyed his hot dog. Win! However, the chili on my dog was pretty tasteless and watery. The hot dog itself also was just okay. Would I go back? Probably not. But glad I finally tried it. read more

FULL DISCLOSURE: I am Chicago born/bred, so I'm a bit of a Hot Dog snob Well I had Mo's signature HD, Mo's Original. Had it with the works and 2 mustards. It was delicious. Slight snap, 1/4 lb dog had plenty of flavor, relish, onions, sliced tomatoes on a steamed bun, excellent. Will definitely be back. Now, the menu also has a "Chicago-ish" HD. Glad they clarified it. I'm sure it's good, but, as I've stated, I'm a HD snob, and no poppy seed bun, no Kelly green relish and no sport peppers, they use banana peppers (heresy), but most importantly, no Vienna HD's, so I won't try it. Now to up their game i'd suggest they at least get the Sport Peppers to make it a little more Chicago-ish. The taste difference between banana peppers and sport peppers is palpable, spend the extra money for the sport peppers, it'll increase your sales. Other than that, great place for a dog. Staff was friendly and accommodating and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a hot dog, this should be your spot. read more

Happy to report that on my first visit to MO's that the great hot dogs from Sac's I first had in Vallejo 36 years ago live on. Kudos: to MO's for keeping up the great quality of the dogs, buns, chili and fresh condiments. Although I don't presently live in the area, I will continue to make MO's a "must stop" on any Not Cal visit. read more

Huge fan of Sacs in Vallejo but this definitely fell under par with the freshness and price point. Service was good while ordering but we sat in on this Saturday afternoon and ate our hotdogs. After our dogs were made the two girls sat in the back no where in sight almost our entire stay. The toppings and ingredients didn't seem fresh at all. The jalapeños and banana peppers were dried out. The mustard looked like it was hard at the top and the tomatoes looked wilted and old. Price point is definitely higher then the Vallejo location but was shocked when I noticed there's no meal deal, everything from chips and drink you had to pay full price a la Carte. It was a rather expensive lunch with far from fresh ingredients. Highly disappointed. Doesn't compare to sac's quality and freshness. My first time & my last time here. read more

This is my second time eating at this establishment and they messed up my order again. Although the woman upfront upfront was very nice I don't understand how hard it is to make a hotdog correctly. I asked for two cheese dogs with just cheese and mustard. I trusted this wasn't a hard request so I walked away to finish a text. Didn't notice the mistake until I got home. Don't eat at this place. The first time I went they were suppose to be closed at 4 and I was there at 3:30 and the lights were off. I asked if they were closed and she said yes almost. I told her I needed 4 hotdogs and she said they were out of hotdogs and she wasn't making more she gave me the last two polish dogs and locked the door after I left. Very poor service. read more

I waited to write this review because I was very upset with going to Mo's on Saturday June 13th approximately 4pm. There are no shield from the cash register to customers, not six feet distance, employees not wearing mask. I did not see anything wiped down after the customer after me finished paying at the counter. I was going to walk out then but I decided to stick it out. Also I got two cheese dogs and they were all thrown together. I loved this place when it was Sacs. The quality of bread, hot dogs, and cheese is low quality now, it doesn't taste the same. I gave this place a try , but sorry this place needs to think about the safety and health of its customers. Please take better pride of your food and customer service. I have not been here since Sacs and it's not the same, and the employees were just talking among themselves giving the customers no interest. BUT.....They are just as good, if not better reheated. Here's my tip. Place up to 2 dogs, still wrapped, in microwave. Push "DEFROST" button and #2 then start. I had to do this twice, but the "Dawgs" were evenly warmed and delicious!! Just a tip for those who want a Hotdog but think they won't be as good later as they would be dining in? So, I was watching the news and KTVU2 gave them bad press about doing business about Covid19...it was bogus! So, I've never been to this restaurant and I decided to support them and give them a try...I'm glad I did! There's nothing better than a good dog and steamed bun. I ordered their nacho dog..hot dog, mustard, onion, tomatoes, relish, and nacho cheese sauce..yummy. The lady greeted me as I walked in and was so nice. I would definitely go back! They serve loaded potatoes, too. I'll have to try that next time. My only complaint, I wish they were open a tad later. After sports for the kids, it would be nice if they were open. Great hot dogs.. great menu.. and I am serious.. the BEST customer service! The young woman at the cash register today Wednesday 1/8 is the sweetest! She wasnt just sweet and making conversation with me but all of the other patrons that were here. She was making hot dogs and baked potatoes.. filling the soda machine...getting a door dash order prepped and ready and she welcomed everyone who walked in the door. Just ordered a cheese dog and for the 2nd time it's cold bun not steamed and old fashioned cold. I typically get the original cheese dog @ Sac's in Vallejo and they have never disappointed . I eat here regularly, it is always clean, the girls helping are always friendly, I saw a young man training recently so that's new. What you come for is what we all love, a hot dog or sausage fixed however you like it, toppings are plentiful, chili is great, buns are good and fresh, quality of the hot dogs, polish dogs, and hot links is very good. I like the Cajun dog, it's their hot link, I haven't tried soups or salads, both macaroni and potato salads are available. First time at this location. Frost off is the feel just isn't the same as Vallejo. Strip mall setting is a little off putting and inside does not have the same feel. Ordered a cheese dog and didn't get much cheese. Buns were hardly steamed. Granted I prefer the old time Vallejo super wrinkled "wet" buns. You know the the ones that shrank up leaving a half inch of dog on each side? New owners stopped that saying to many people were complaining. Anywhoo I think these had just been put in the steamer. Their Chili is A-1 really good. I actually wanted the Super :( Potato Salad and Macaroni Salad are OK it wasn't really anything special. It's missing some spice and another ingredient. Sacs in Napa,? Apparently this location has been here for about 2 years. I was craving an after movie snack and planned on hitting the one in Spring St. in Vallejo, but I was notified this one was much closer. I had been to the original a few of times but they're as good here as the one in Vallejo. I had ordered a couple of Chili dogs, Mustard and Sauerkraut, and a cheese and plain ketchup dog. The dogs have a nice snap and the buns were warm not soggy. I like that the place was clean and very friendly ladies working the front. I will definitely be back if I'm the the area.
