My daughter brought a tray of their Mac & Cheese for Easter dinner. I must say this was the best I've ever had in my 75 years!

The place can get very packed and if you don't have a reservation, you may be quite disappointed. We came in in between lunch and dinner and had the most amazing service. I'm pretty sure they always have amazing service here but since we were one of the few tables, I felt like we had a private dining service. We Split a salad and a main course, and both were plated up for us as individual meals, presented perfectly. The pear salad is absolutely delicious. I cannot even tell you how much I love the salad dressing and the salad is perfect. my sister does not like blue cheese so I got all of hers on my half. We also ordered my other favorite ditch, which is papardelle pasta with shrimp and mushrooms. It is so filling and lovely. There's no way that you could actually eat the whole plate, so splitting it is a great idea unless you're famished. Of course it be Napa. The bulk of your bill is gonna probably be online if you're a wine drinker. I love Chardonnay and Frank Family is sold by the glass. It's my birthday so they brought me a lovely raspberry gelato with a candle. Can't wait for my return next year went in town!

For starters, they give you fresh bread with a side of the most delicious caramelized onion oil. The calamari fritti wasn't my favorite, but the marinara sauce was amazing. For my entree, I had the fusilloni alla bolognese, and hubby had the short rib, mashed potatoes, and carrots. All of it was cooked to perfection. The carrots were tender, and well seasoned. The short rib melted our mouths. The bolognese was absolutely mouth watering. However, the show stopper of the night was the bread pudding & gelato. There was some sort of maple brandy sauce drizzled on top, and it was fantastic. We had a great experience at Ristorante Allegria, and will most definitely return!

Simple ingredients done really well; fresh meats, crisp vegetables, soft bread straight from the oven. It's the kind of lunch that reminds you how good simple food can be when the ingredients are quality. The owner and staff always seem genuinely happy to be there, and it gives the whole place such a warm and welcoming feeling. They also have little Italian drinks, snacks, and specialty goodies that make it fun to grab something extra alongside your lunch. It's a smaller little shop, so I recommend taking your sandwich to go and eating over at the Sonoma Plaza. Such a special little spot in Sonoma.

As I was heading back to the square (where there is an abundance of restaurants), I didn't want the busyness of the scene; thankfully, I got on Instagram, typed "good eats in Sonoma", and BAM! Salumeria Ovello popped up on my feed, and thank goodness it did! An easy 4-minute walk from Vallejo House, Salumeria Ovello is owned by Andrea, who is a Michelin-star chef from the area of Piedmont, Italy. Having been to Italy twice this past year alone, I remember quite well the quality and taste of the classed Italian Sandwiches. The worker who served at the counter was very helpful, and within the restaurant --- there are just a few seats. I'd say, 3 tables with two seats at each table. For my food, I decided to order the Massimo --- which is on "sliced Focaccia, and has sun dried tomatoes, stracciatella di burrata, prosciutto cotto, basil pesto and crumbled taralli (crackers)". Each sandwich is made fresh-to-order, and you can taste the quality. Each ingredient worked together in harmony, and to satisfy the americani in me, I definitely enjoyed the taralli in the sandwich --- reminded me of putting chips in my sandwiches in school. While I waited, Andrea also brought out some slices of salami for me to try --- free of charge, which was very kind of him to do. All in all, if you want to get away from the busyness of the Mission Square, take a 4-minute walk to Salumeria Ovello, and you'll find a little piece of Italy in Sonoma! Ciao tutti!

They sell curated food products from gourmet balsamic vinegar, crackers, popcorn, flavored olive oils, jams, and of course. We decided to try the bourbon latte and white rabbit. They have a variety of flavors but the bourbon latte caught my eye. Me not realizing that it felt like summer outside during springtime, we ordered both drinks hot. Sidenote, the drinks do come iced as well. In addition to our drinks, I bought lemon curd jam and rosè jelly. There was only one person working when we were there but we didn't wait long for our drinks which was a big plus. Aside from that, the bourbon latte was very tasty and I loved the fact that the bourbon syrup wasn't too overpowering. Next time I go, I'm definitely getting it iced. Napastäk is definitely a gem and I recommend stopping by to visit if you're in the area. If you love taking picturesque photos, this is the perfect place! They having tasting too!

I noticed there were other reviews of the staff being rude and I wish I listened). There's always rumors about napa being racist/prejudice so it's hard to feel like I can't get good service if i'm not blonde and pale especially from a cashier who is also a person of color...She seemed to be so preoccupied with other matters instead of..her job? Worst $11 of my life. There's not a lot of great matcha places in all of 707 (Benicia, Vallejo, Fairfield, etc) and this experience had to be the most expensive and least inviting..with the least flavoring. It was straight milk with a dash of matcha. I asked for caramel and I taste nothing.

Ambiance, comforting. There's something about red/white checkered tablecloths that says "This place has good food"! And it is! I had the ravioli (1/2 meat 1/2 cheese) in their signature meat sauce. I also had a side salad, crisp greens and lotsa extra stuff, so good. We had the garlic bread, cheesy, garlicky and buttery. My son had the spaghetti and meatballs and a sausage, he was surprised at the size of the meatball, huge. Had a glass of their house blush wine, also very good. All in all, an excellent dining experience. Just as I remembered. Like Arnold said, "I'll be back" (you read that like the Terminator ) P.S. there were no leftovers

It definitely has old world Italian charm with wine bottles hanging from the ceiling and dimly lit decor. We were there for a late afternoon lunch. I ordered an 8" combo pizza and my wife had the soup and salad lunch special. The salad (Caesar) was fresh with just the right amount of dressing and fresh grated parmigiana. Delicious without being drowned. The soup was hearty and well seasoned. My wife loved it so much we ordered a quart to go. That is saying a lot as she is not a huge fan of Italian cuisine. Now, I am kind of a pizza snob so, my expectations weren't that high. Wow! Was I wrong! The crust was crisp with a soft center. The sauce was perfect, not too much or too little, just right. It was a delicious pie. The perfect ratio between toppings, sauce and a crust that doesn't flop. Service was fast and friendly. If you are in Napa and looking for a really good meal that won't max out your credit card, this is the place. Oxbow is a neat place to visit, but the prices are in my opinion, extremely high. Try this place for reasonable, affordable and delicious Italian food.
