Was craving a burger but the patty was so thin. The kids working there were doing a great job. It's vintage in the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this place because of size portions. Taste was good but not for the price.

I'm sorry Big D's but what happened? Used to be a great little Americana style Drive-In with great food... but something has changed and I can't justify coming here anymore. The Fish n Chips used to have decent pieces of deep fried fish, then they shrunk a bit into ok sized pucks but now? For $17 no less? I've seen McDonald's sized chicken nuggets larger than these pieces of fish... it just makes me sad because this was a place me and my dad loved to enjoy eating at together. I hope you guys figure out what's wrong and get back on track because this current path isn't it.

Beloved by locals, Big D must rely on nostalgia because its burgers are inferior to the local competition. It's sad, but the $10.99 cheeseburger has a very slim patty that is tough to cook without being dry. The sesame seed-topped burger bun was fresh and the lettuce crisp, but the burger's best attribute was its selection of cheeses. The reheated curly fries were so disappointing, too. The menu also includes shakes, various fried items, including fish and shrimp, and an option to have a hot dog in many ways. If I find myself here again, I'll try the chili dog or a shake.

I've passed this place so many work mornings and finally had the chance to check them out on the way home today. Located off of Silverado trail with a decent sized parking lot and outer eating area. Looks like your typical burger spot that lasted decades with decent food and friendly service. I wasnt too hungry so I went with a cheeseburger and curly fries. I wanted to try the Big D burger but I'll save that for when I'm up for it and not in a rush. I ate it there, kinda outdated like a foster freeze type decor but clean enough to eat there. My burger did its job, not bad but nothing special. The fries however were very underwhelming and I found myself leaving most of them behind. The workers were really cool and it got kinda busy when we were leaving but it's not quite the traditional burger joint I was hoping it would be. I'd come back to support the business but I can't promise you're gonna love it. The lady that I asked at the 711 told me it hasn't been the same since the covid lock down bs and I'll take her word for it. I don't wanna be too hard on them but they're just ok..

I hadn't been here in about 15 years. Went and had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Cannot recommend it enough!!

I decided to give this place a go bc it looked old school, was off the beaten path and didn't look too busy. Place was clean, servers super friendly and engaging and helped with some recommendations. I decided to go with the Hawaiian burger, sweet potato fries, drink and cookie, which I was told it was homemade. I made sure to eat everything (with the exception of the cookie) bc it cost me upwards of $30. The pros: good quality ingredients served fresh, friendly servers. Burger had good flavor with Canadian bacon and avocado. The cons: Everything was al la carte which made for a more expensive lunch. Cookie was crunchy and not very edible. Ratio of ingredients to price was low: the burger had a skinny patty, one pineapple slice and there was more bun leftover. I'm glad I tried a new spot, but unless they work out some combo deals, too pricey.

I thought the onion rings were fantastic. The patty melt was disappointing. A few booths inside and plenty of seating outside. Large menu.

Great service and food. Prices are way up but that's every business at this point. The food has a home made vibe to it, similar to a Nation's burger. Big portions so definitely a satisfying meal. Will come again.

This place is not what it used to be. Pre pandemic and years back it was semi- decent. The last few visits the kids working here have zero concern for cross contamination or cleaning anything. Smells downright funky inside and out. One time our burgers were green rotten. I tried reaching out to owners, no one responds. They recently jacked up the prices. Paid over $30 for two fish and chips. super meager small portions. Fries werent cooked all the way. Wont be coming back. They wanted $8.88 for a SMALL shake. Get real. Quit ripping off folks.

Very salty Krinkle Cut Fries.....too salty.

Having visited both their up-valley locations and the downtown Napa restaurant numerous times, I continue to find myself returning for one particular menu item, the Ahi Poke Crispy Tacos. These tacos showcase Hawaiian-style marinated sushi-grade ahi tuna layered with fresh avocado, crisp green cabbage and cilantro slaw, green onions, toasted sesame seeds, and a drizzle of spicy mayo, all nestled within a delicate crispy taco shell. While the ingredients themselves are impressive, it is the harmony of flavors and textures that elevates this dish from a simple taco to a truly memorable culinary experience. There is a remarkable balance at work in every bite. The clean, fresh flavor of the ahi is complemented by the richness of the avocado, while the slaw contributes a refreshing crunch and brightness. The spicy mayo ties the components together with just enough heat to enhance, rather than overpower, the delicate flavors of the fish. It is one of those dishes that leaves a lasting impression on the palate and creates an immediate desire to return for it again, when driving by. On this particular visit, the first taco shell was exceptionally crisp, shattering upon the first bite and making it somewhat challenging to enjoy. Fortunately, the remaining two tacos were executed flawlessly. The shells provided the perfect contrast of texture while allowing the freshness and quality of the ingredients to remain the focal point. Each bite was vibrant, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Accompanying the tacos was Gotts' homemade lemonade, a refreshing pairing that proved equally enjoyable. Its bright citrus character and restrained sweetness complemented the richness of the ahi and the subtle heat of the spicy mayo, creating a refreshing counterpoint that enhanced the overall dining experience. At slightly more than $25 with tip, this is certainly not cheap. However, when considering the quality of the ingredients, the freshness of the preparation, and the restaurant's unwavering consistency, the value becomes readily apparent. For those who appreciate fresh seafood, Hawaiian-inspired flavors, and thoughtfully prepared fish tacos, the Ahi Poke Crispy Tacos at Gotts Roadside are worthy of the acclaim they receive. They are vibrant, refreshing, expertly balanced, and remain one of my go to places to get ahi tacos.

I make the 30 minute drive to Super Duper because this is the closest location and I'd rather not settle for a mediocre burger. This is the burger I want when I'm craving one. I ordered the double patty super burger with bacon, aged cheddar cheese, and avocado. The burger is always so juicy and delicious and the best bites of the burger is the end where all the juice is sitting. The house made pickles are so amazing, I always grab a plate of them, they are self serve next to the fountain drinks. I also discovered these cute little burger pockets that help catch the juices next to the fountain drinks so I grabbed those and my super duper burger fit in it perfectly. I was trying to get some ketchup and it was coming out a little slow so I accidentally poured out some mustard from the fountain next to it. For some reason, I have never tried the mustard here before and that has been my biggest mistake! The mustard is house made as well as the ketchup and they are the best condiments I have ever tasted. I have honestly never been excited about ketchup and mustard as much as this one really wakes up your taste buds and adds so much tangy flavor from a prominent vinegar taste that it has that makes it feel fresh! I had fries at a fancy restaurant a couple days later that came with basic ketchup and I found myself missing Super Duper's Ketchup!! My boyfriend tried the chicken sandwich and it was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! He enjoyed it! Don't sleep on super duper burger when you're near one!!
