This might've been great but I realized I hate bleu cheese, I dunno if it's just this place but it tastes like nail polish. $24.32. The small shake is an insulting $9.95. Onion rings were good but probably not worth $7

Was craving a burger but the patty was so thin. The kids working there were doing a great job. It's vintage in the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this place because of size portions. Taste was good but not for the price.

I'm sorry Big D's but what happened? Used to be a great little Americana style Drive-In with great food... but something has changed and I can't justify coming here anymore. The Fish n Chips used to have decent pieces of deep fried fish, then they shrunk a bit into ok sized pucks but now? For $17 no less? I've seen McDonald's sized chicken nuggets larger than these pieces of fish... it just makes me sad because this was a place me and my dad loved to enjoy eating at together. I hope you guys figure out what's wrong and get back on track because this current path isn't it.

    Cheeseburger $10.99

Beloved by locals, Big D must rely on nostalgia because its burgers are inferior to the local competition. It's sad, but the $10.99 cheeseburger has a very slim patty that is tough to cook without being dry. The sesame seed-topped burger bun was fresh and the lettuce crisp, but the burger's best attribute was its selection of cheeses. The reheated curly fries were so disappointing, too. The menu also includes shakes, various fried items, including fish and shrimp, and an option to have a hot dog in many ways. If I find myself here again, I'll try the chili dog or a shake.

I've passed this place so many work mornings and finally had the chance to check them out on the way home today. Located off of Silverado trail with a decent sized parking lot and outer eating area. Looks like your typical burger spot that lasted decades with decent food and friendly service. I wasnt too hungry so I went with a cheeseburger and curly fries. I wanted to try the Big D burger but I'll save that for when I'm up for it and not in a rush. I ate it there, kinda outdated like a foster freeze type decor but clean enough to eat there. My burger did its job, not bad but nothing special. The fries however were very underwhelming and I found myself leaving most of them behind. The workers were really cool and it got kinda busy when we were leaving but it's not quite the traditional burger joint I was hoping it would be. I'd come back to support the business but I can't promise you're gonna love it. The lady that I asked at the 711 told me it hasn't been the same since the covid lock down bs and I'll take her word for it. I don't wanna be too hard on them but they're just ok..

Hawaiian Burger, Sweet Potato Fries w side of thousand island dressing

I decided to give this place a go bc it looked old school, was off the beaten path and didn't look too busy. Place was clean, servers super friendly and engaging and helped with some recommendations. I decided to go with the Hawaiian burger, sweet potato fries, drink and cookie, which I was told it was homemade. I made sure to eat everything (with the exception of the cookie) bc it cost me upwards of $30. The pros: good quality ingredients served fresh, friendly servers. Burger had good flavor with Canadian bacon and avocado. The cons: Everything was al la carte which made for a more expensive lunch. Cookie was crunchy and not very edible. Ratio of ingredients to price was low: the burger had a skinny patty, one pineapple slice and there was more bun leftover. I'm glad I tried a new spot, but unless they work out some combo deals, too pricey.

One of the best burgers around period!! Big D burger with bacon.

I hadn't been here in about 15 years. Went and had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Cannot recommend it enough!!

I thought the onion rings were fantastic. The patty melt was disappointing. A few booths inside and plenty of seating outside. Large menu.

I make the 30 minute drive to Super Duper because this is the closest location and I'd rather not settle for a mediocre burger. This is the burger I want when I'm craving one. I ordered the double patty super burger with bacon, aged cheddar cheese, and avocado. The burger is always so juicy and delicious and the best bites of the burger is the end where all the juice is sitting. The house made pickles are so amazing, I always grab a plate of them, they are self serve next to the fountain drinks. I also discovered these cute little burger pockets that help catch the juices next to the fountain drinks so I grabbed those and my super duper burger fit in it perfectly. I was trying to get some ketchup and it was coming out a little slow so I accidentally poured out some mustard from the fountain next to it. For some reason, I have never tried the mustard here before and that has been my biggest mistake! The mustard is house made as well as the ketchup and they are the best condiments I have ever tasted. I have honestly never been excited about ketchup and mustard as much as this one really wakes up your taste buds and adds so much tangy flavor from a prominent vinegar taste that it has that makes it feel fresh! I had fries at a fancy restaurant a couple days later that came with basic ketchup and I found myself missing Super Duper's Ketchup!! My boyfriend tried the chicken sandwich and it was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! He enjoyed it! Don't sleep on super duper burger when you're near one!!

Quality/Quantity - We are going to lunch at La Cheve Bakery and Brew, so only got a soft serve today. Atmosphere - Decent size location if you include the outdoor space. Plenty of indoor seating, table seating, and counter seating. Open 7 days a week. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Self kiosk service when you enter. Two kiosks available. Self service drinks. Self service everything/counter service, if that means anything. Plenty of employees everywhere. The manager was visible. Price - $7; expensive, but that is the cost for quality. Decent portions also. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 2010 and now with your 21+ locations

I can't believe I haven't shared a review of this spot yet! Friendly staff and just a very well oiled-machine. The Vietnamese Chicken Salad is something to write home about. Served with a Peanut Lime Vinaigrette, the salad has a variety of lettuces, mung beans sprouts, peanuts, crispy fried chicken breast, green onions, pickled red Fresno chiles, and I'm sure I'm missing a few ingredients :) it's so delicious and worthy of its own review. The burgers and onion rings with ranch sauce, always superb. Honestly, never had a bad meal here. There's plenty of other fun sides like chili cheese fries and fried Brussels, and other menu items including tacos, hot dogs, soups, and a kiddo menu. Don't skip out on a shake, NA bevvie, or beer/wine options. On a beautiful future sunny day, a perfect stop when in the area pre/post wine tasting.

It has the standard corned beef, Swiss, sauerkraut, and thousand island on rye. No notes on the sandwich really. Just well done. It came with a side of fries, which were just okay. Not bad. Not great. Just okay. - Dungeness crab Benedict: this is a crab cake topped with poached eggs and a jalapeño hollandaise. Amazing. Very crabby. The hollandaise didn't really taste jalapeño-y nor was it spicy. The side of hash browns was nice enough. Better than the French fries. Since I dropped by on a Monday, I only had to wait 10 minutes or so to get seated. If you go on a weekend, be prepared to wait some time. The waitress was kind friendly, although she disappeared at the end and a gentleman came up to check us out, which I always find odd (when they don't transition & let us know one of them is going to be taking a break etc. and one of them is going to be working there Station ... had our waitress stayed till the end. I simply would've shared the following information with her ...). I think the most surprising thing about the ambience this time was the fact that we sat in a corner booth (towards the front door), which used to be a favorite space for me ironically, and the white wood blinds were absolutely filthy. I mean a layer of dust & gunk on them like they hadn't been cleaned since the last time I sat there (years). I waitressed for a long time and I can tell you that people will judge a restaurant's cleanliness by the dining area: If the dining area is not clean, it makes the kitchen suspect. Boon Fly pays a lot of detail to a lot of other little details, so I'm hoping they will take a harder look at the dining room surroundings and make sure those get genuinely cleaned.
