Highly recommend -- due to past performance of prior All Star future gymnasts…read more Case in point : Sydney Smith, the gymnast and social media influencer known for her extreme flexibility, is from McLean, Virginia. She grew up in Northern Virginia, graduated from Robinson High School in Fairfax, and trained at Capital Gymnastics NTC in Burke, VA. Hometown: McLean, VA. Gymnastics Background: Level 10 gymnast who competed for Southern Connecticut State University and later joined the University of Georgia. If they can groom her, that is testimony to the high caliber instructors!! Bottom line -- let's go!!!!!!!

My daughter (lvl 7) needed coaches who would push her to limits she didn't seem possible, she needed coaches who didn't tell her she is a disappointment (last gym did), and a gym that actually does gymnastics and isn't a beautified, very expensive, after school child care center when parents are paying a car payment monthly and devoting 20+ hrs/week to. I drive 4 hrs round trip, 5x/week for this gymnastics center, so I 100% vouch for them. If you want your child to not only succeed, but succeed on a national level...then come to Capital NTC. We cannot wait to see what the next few years will bring! #OlympicHopeful

5/2/26 The ambience of this place seemed like warm at best…read more The place was busy from what I could see. The outside of the place had some graffiti on the wall, and the place seemed closed at first sight. I decided to check the place out anyhow. Walking back into this place of business was different this time around. This time the place was more livelier. This time I didn't get to talk to anyone. This time I was greeted by several tiny eyes looking at me as if I am asked creepy old man. This time I am the old man being stared at. It has been 40 years since I was a kid learning gymnastics. This time I wonder what I am doing here? Even if this place was my old stomping ground from when I was a kid. This time I did see more women here than males. Actually I saw no males in here. I am starting to wonder if this place is now only for girls/young ladies. If this time is this time, then times have indeed changed and so must I. This time will be my last time visiting this place. I felt like the odd man out, because few males walk in here alone. Guess I will join the one legged man down the road..

Everything from the…read moreOwner, to the organization of the competitions, information shared about rules, schedules, changes of schedule, to the gym facilities, which is in a shady warehouse, is handled in an amateur, unprofessional and rude fashion. They only see you as a cash cow, not as a customer (and the membership is twice as expensive as the fanciest gym) and if you complain about anything, they have zero accountability or interest to resolve it. The gym has no limit of people there, they accept everyone, making the experience crowded and not personalized. And yet they don't renovate the facilities nor upgrade their employees. For example, competitions time are scheduled with less than 24h of information. This is unacceptable. They make you drive your child 3h ahead to a far place which is chaotic from an organization standpoint, they put the teams waiting in hallways for to perform less than 2 mins with a team of about 30 people at a time. They don't communicate that they don't want parents in certain areas. There's a woman, Coach Jessica, who treats athletes and parents in a bully and rude way. Both me and my daughter experienced this from her. She doesn't ask, she yells at you, she undermines girls self-esteem and when you complain, the owner's response is unprofessional and protective, instead of acknowledging that there's a recurring issue with this person who works for him. I have never experienced such a poor behavior from a business like this. They post pictures of your kids on their social media without permission and block you from taking pictures of your own child. They shouldn't be in business.

After my daughter tried a couple of places with russian couches, who belittled my daughter's potential, body-shamed and were plain rude to the parents and girls, I almost lost hope finding a place where my daughter who loves dance and gymnastics, could thrive. We have been with all star gymnastics for almost a year and my daughter's loves each and every training! She doesn't have to be dragged to the class, she looks forward to it! With rhythmic gymnastics and coach Alysia, your daughter will learn beautiful routines and skills, get flexible and confident with the help of a knowledgeable and kind coach.

Low ceilings are an issue in rhythmic gymnastics since the apparatus cannot be thrown up. There was 23 girls there with ages rangind from about 4-5 years old to about 14-15. There was only ONE trainer and a more advanced girl that was helping out. The tuition pricing seemed absolutely ridiculous given the conditions and the sheer number of students. I cannot see how one trainer could possibly give enough attention to every one of these girls. The trainer lady was good but I would not take my daughter there.
