Made an appointment for a full detail on my truck at 9am Wednesday morning. I was told that a…read morecompletion time couldn't be given which I totally get, but that it would be done for sure by 5pm. I spent the day on foot waiting for my truck to be finished. At 3pm I decided to head towards the shop, when I arrived I noticed that my truck had been relocated but was still as dirty as when it arrived. I was told by the owner that they hadn't even started on my truck (obviously) and that she could probably have it done by 5pm. I wanted my truck to get the proper attention so I declined, I also declined an appointment offer for the next day as I live 45 minutes away and didn't want to potentially waste another day. There were many other ways that this situation could have been handled differently, ways that would not leave me so dissatisfied as a customer. I will give one example, call at noon and inform the customer that you have not been able to get to the vehicle yet that way the customer has the opportunity to decide whether they want to wait it out or reschedule. Or better yet let the customer know in the morning that you are behind from yesterday's business and if you think there is any chance that you won't be able to get to the vehicle. I saw this business recommended on a Facebook page and was excited to support a local woman owned small business and to be able to recommend to friends, obviously I am now doing the opposite.

REVIEW OF THE ACID CAR WASH SERVICE: I took my van (white…read morecolor) in that was covered in hard water spots (just recently learned what hard water is/does. lol), bug splatter from weekend excursions and you name it! I wish I had before and after shots, because it was night and day! The van came out looking brand new!! It felt nice to go on our road trip looking fresh. A few weeks later, we took our car (black color) in and it also came out looking fantastic! When I got home, I noticed the driver's side mirror was jacked up though (not just out of alignment). I took it apart and realized that the mechanism is just old (2002 model year) and clearly worn out. If I didn't disassemble the part, I could have easily thought it was clumsily damaged during the cleaning process. (This is a reminder that it this kind of stuff happens to older vehicles and it could have happened to anyone who was cleaning) It's also nice supporting a local small business instead of a faceless franchise. The owners are genuine and very personable.

About a week later it starts clunking and hasn't stopped since. i took the car to their shop to be "fixed" so I go pick up the car and it STILL MAKES THE SAME NOISE! Take it back to les Schwab to be inspected and come to find out they didn't fix what they said they did. Now they're telling me I have to pay more money for these parts when I was sold the car and the main problem was not fixed. Long story short these guys are not ever going to get money out of me AGAIN!
