I hired Turkay to assemble two sheds at my church parking lot. His estimate is way lower than all the estimate I got from Yelp. It is so low that I thought he didn't see my request clearly. I told him the project is for two sheds not one and each shed is 10' by 12'. He said yes, he knows. At the day of the project, he told me he didn't know how big the shed is so he will have to charge me more. Obviously that doesn't sit well with me but I understood since his estimate was way too low to begin with. He gave me a new estimate which is more in part with estimates I got from other handyman. He arrived right on schedule and began immediately with the task of installing our new fiberglass front door which I had custom-ordered from Lowe's. It was a heavy job but he pretty much manhandled the 8-foot solid doors (removal and replacement) single-handedly. Within a couple hours he had installed the front door with all the new Kwikset hardware I had purchased -- and ensured that the new door fit and functioned perfectly ... and right on budget! The gates around my home were sun faded, peeling and had rust on the metal frames. Turkay came to my house for the day a few months ago. He and his partner spent the whole day here. He did a good job on the actual drywall repair but did a terrible job on the wall texture. He installed a water filter and repainted a door fine. His shower work was sloppy and was not done well so I had to fix it myself. End of day he still had to repair another hole in the wall and did a terrible job. He was trying to get everything done in a day so was rushing and just did not do a good job. I used Turkay's services in order to repair a damaged door sill which was resulting in a leak in my home after the recent rains. Turkay was communicative throughout the process and came to inspect the work. He could have finished the work on the spot and called it a day but instead informed me the area was still damp and it would be best if we waited several days until the area dried out.
