Well, I made a phone call to Azadi Jewellery to ask about this service and the answer by the gentleman was yes. With the COVID-19 State of Emergency declared by the Provincial government, many businesses are having to adjust their operations and business hours. The cost to downsize was quoted at $30 but it was not same-day service (although it could be under normal conditions) but certainly within 48 hours which suited my needs. My sweetheart and I dropped into Azadi around noon today. To my dismay, all store & businesses located at the Shops at Don Mills were ordered to close until further notice but Azadi received special approval to open only today for customer pickups. Thankfully, we were able to show our ring and get the fitting recommendation of five and a quarter. Given the uncertainty of when stores would be allowed to reopen for regular business, the suggestion was to keep the ring and return later. Notice/status updates would be posted to the store website and Instagram. I really appreciated that advice and will most certainly return to have the resizing completed at Azadi Jewellery!
