Sooooooooo... I've never never never never never never never had a sushi / sashimi place tell me I cannot have a roll without rice. Now, let me tell you... I was so very impressed with their menu... they had everything I possibly could want and their prices didn't gauge the patrons... however.. let's go back to the rice in a roll. I literately left my friend, and talked to the sushi chefs... who just yessed me, apparently... not only the waitress, but what seemed to be the owner / manager even came up... why?! Bc?! They wanted me to assure them that it was okay to provide me a roll with rice in it... which of course... I would not... lol. For someone like me, who has allergies... I am not sure why they would not provide me a roll without rice. It's beyond me. Tho- seriously- we were very happy, aside from the rice in the roll. Additionally, my friend asked for minimal rice and their roll just had too much... I have always loved the Moshi Moshi in the NiMo district - and am thankful that this location is nearby to my place. I appreciate Moshi Moshi for many reasons. First of all, you can order delivery via the Yelp App so A+ for that! They're also open until 5 am. Yes, you read that right! When those late night sushi/ramen cravings hit - this is the perfect spot. They have so many signature rolls but my favorite is the Moshi Moshi Roll. It's got the seafood trifecta: tuna, yellowtail, and salmon! I've also ordered their Chirashi, Ramen, Fried rice etc. I've never regretted an order from here, and their menu is varied enough that you'll find something to please anyone in your party or any craving you have. HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARD WARNING I used to like this place because it's convenient, good tasting food, and open 24 hrs but recently they have been missing part of my order twice and the last time order will probably the last. Because I found a metal string from what looks like a metal sponge in the curry sauce. I ordered curry through Uber eats. I had left overs that I didn't eat until 3 days later or so. And that's when I discovered the metal string in my mouth as I ate it. I was so shocked when I pulled it out. That could have been very dangerous if ingested. Who knows what a metal string with sharp sides can do to your GI tract if ingested. It definitely has a potential to cause bleeding and infection. So far I feel fine and I don't think I ingested any but I was so disgusted after. I don't take the time to write bad reviews if it is not warranted. And I finally took the time weeks later after the incident because I feel it is important to warn others to be cautious and hopefully the establishment can learn from this. Probably even stop using metal scrubs. Make sure dishes are clean and not contaminated by anything. It's absolutely gross. read more

A coworker suggested this place for a late lunch, so we cruised by around 3:30pm. We were the only ones in there at that time and sat down to order. From the beginning it's a huge pain in the ass. They have this Covid-era no touch policy, so you have to QR code and scroll through pages of their various offerings, and then can only order online through the app. So for a group order we had to pass someone's phone around. The app was being glitchy, so the "server" had to come over several times to tell us what went wrong. She could've easily taken our order a dozen times before we finally got through the confirmation-code-text-messaging bullshit. After we finally submitted the order, food came quickly, and was all pretty good. I tried to order a round of beers for the table, which is completely a new transaction with your phone, and it absolutely wouldn't work. After 5 minutes of trying, I finally just waved a server over and asked if they could just bring us drinks and I would pay, which she did. I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1 because the food was good, and the servers are attentive in spite of not being allowed to do their job. Lose the garbage phone-only system, print up some menus, and use a waitstaff and this will be 5 stars for everyone. read more

Thank goodness for late night restaurant being open in Miami. I spent all day at a pool party, came back fell asleep and woke up extremely hungry. Almost everything was closed except for this spot! Not only way they open late but they were delicious. Some places open late just for the money and taste like frozen food, no flavor! One of the worst sushi experiences I've had. Way worse than a grocery store. Both rolls lacked flavor, the fish was warm and they rice was gooey. The shrimp dumpling was just a shrimp in a sticky wrapper. The Shrimp Shumai tasted like chlorine The "fresh spring roll" was $14. It was one wrap, poorly stuffed and cut in half. The wrapper was so sticky It was difficult to pick up without tearing (sticking to plate) and then it stuck to your fingers like Elmer's glue. And this was fake KRAB not Crab! $14?????? The worst was the fried rice with spicy tuna on top. The spicy tuna goop has no flavor and terrible texture. The rice was so hard it took great effort to chew. The vibe here is awesome it's open really late night so it is perfect and it feels super chill and relax atmosphere. The outdoor space is perfect to sit at I recommend it. The food however is what I love. The creamy shrimp is my all time favorite and I recommend everyone try it. All of the things I have gotten here has been amazing. I loved the texture of the eggplant and the lightly breaded outer layer that really gave it a nice flavor. The eggplant was savory and earthy. Moshi Moshi roll- Get this! It's very filling, I want to say there were 3 different kinds of fish. It was extremely fresh and well prepared. We also ordered ceviche the Miami B sushi roll. The portions were generous and the yellow tail ceviche was good, but nothing out of this world. Would I return, oh yes! Food was prepared well and seasoned nicely. The one issue was with the service- any time we asked questions about the menu we were met with short answers or no information - it was frustrating to be handled with such service. I usually have sushi at Moshi Moshi but this time I decided to go outside of sushi and try the chicken yaki soba. Had some miso soup prior to that and it was very good. It had plenty of seaweed in it as well as tofu. The chicken yaki soba was enjoyable and plenty flavorful. Their consistency in their flavors in food is appreciated.
