Do not recommend this Dentist. " Thank you for producing a comprehensive and detailed invoice for my review. It appears that the oral exam for the sleep apnea device at $ 58.32 was covered and the repair that was uncovered is $250.00. The total for the time spent of around half an hour is $308.32. In essence, Dr Bos glued the lower piece to hold it together. My view is that the uncovered charge is excessive for the effort made. I agree you did say I would be responsible for the uncovered portion. I wasn't given any indication of what this cost would be. Had I known it was going to be this much I would have followed Dr Bos's suggestion that super glue would do the same job and that I could perform the work myself. Certainly, a lesson learned by me. Moving forward, I'm going to make payment by check mailed today for this exorbitant cost. Secondly, please cancel my next cleaning appointment on January 2, 2024. I'm most disappointed that Dr. Bos refused to discuss my complaint with me. Therefore, given the unprofessional new invoicing procedure, excessive uncovered charge and failure to communicate with me, I will no longer be a patient with Bos Dental. If he wants to give you one, it doesn't mean you don't need one, it just means to go get a referral. You should ONLY go to a root canal specialist, not a regular dentist. My husband only had a pulpectomy (which is not the same) from Dr. Sawyer and then had to have an actual root canal on top of it. Otherwise, for regular dental care, we're satisfied.
