So when I walked into this appointment knowing I would likely need full-mouth extractions, I was terrified. From the moment I sat down, I knew this office was different from any dental office I had ever visited. The staff's kindness and compassion immediately stood out. Patrick, the dental assistant helping with my care, was an absolute ray of sunshine. He treated me like we had been friends for years. I hadn't eaten that morning, and my blood pressure was a little concerning. Without hesitation, Patrick offered me part of his own lunch to help. Beyond that, he was one of the funniest and most genuine people I have ever met. When you're as fearful as I am, having someone who can make you laugh and feel comfortable makes all the difference. My 7-year-old daughter was with my wife and me during the visit. When she heard I was going to have surgery to remove all of my teeth, she became upset and started crying. Patrick immediately comforted her with a hug and helped calm her fears. The rest of the staff went above and beyond as well, taking her to the front desk, letting her pick out a toy, and keeping her company while I underwent my procedure. Dr. Nguyen was equally amazing. Throughout the entire procedure, she continually checked on me to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. The team even covered me with a weighted blanket to help me feel more secure and relaxed. Every step of the way, Dr. Nguyen and her staff did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable, cared for, and supported. For someone with severe dental anxiety, this experience could not have been more positive. The compassion, professionalism, and genuine kindness shown by everyone in this office were unlike anything I have ever experienced in a dental setting. If you're nervous about going to the dentist, this is the place to go. They don't just care for your teeth--they care for you as a person.

To say I am "anxious" about dental work is putting it mildly. To say my dental insurance feels like a foreign language is also an understatement. I have unfortunately neglected my dental health for too long and had the hardest time finding a dental office who not only took my insurance, but had a spot for a new patient who had a significant amount of dental work to be done... Dr. Nicole Luong is the best dentist I have had in my dental health timeline and I wish I could reverse time to have started my dental care at this office. I have experienced minimal discomfort during my dental work and when there was/is and I mentioned it, Dr. Nicole immediately stopped to do specific tests to see where the discomfort was coming from before adjusting accordingly. Historically, I have always felt like I needed to "question" any decisions being made by a dentist historically; Dr. Nicole Luong is the first dentist that I 100% trust her opinion on everything she is doing and her advice when she has sent out referrals. My highest of praises for Dr. Luong, her team, and her office. Natalie, the superwoman of that office [as observed at my very first appointment and each subsequent appointment, noting her calm and competent demeanor as she worked on my teeth and was able to answer questions from the very small, family-like staff simultaneously], I have no clue if I could have got a single filling in without Natalie being able and willing to explain to me word for word what we were about to do before just the deep clean section when she observed the start of my anxiety! Natalie called me before she left the office to check on my pain twice that week after the first fillings. Whatever Natalie does, it is observed from an outsiders perspective that she is well respected, looked up to, and knows as many answers as she can store and yet will still search any other questions for you if she doesn't know. Natalie helped make the transition to Brilliant Smile Dental easy, seamless, and genuinely feel welcomed as a patient rather than another number or a nuisance. Annalise at the front desk is always kind, helpful, professional & also returns calls if she says she will, which is more than appreciated from a patient perspective than she is likely aware of. Her kindness is likely more appreciated than she realizes; it has the ability to change people's days. Chloe has remained the dental assistant for all of my fillings thus far and from a patient perspective, is competent to work alongside Dr. Nicole and a respectable professional through our quick conversation on the walk to the dental chair. I know I've gone on too long for an online review, but I know the "good reviews" rarely make it to paper because the "heated reviews" are so strong, fiery, and frankly, an easy, entertaining (for the most part), read. On the contrary, despite this being a RAVING review, I do hope you've been able to stick with me to the end & maybe finally swayed to make that call to THIS DENTIST if you've been dreading the process like I was... I have been going to these dentists for at least 10 years now. My wife had met Dr. Patel's wife through a social group, so when my regular dentist retired, I went there to try it out. I'm very impressed with the entire dental team. Front desk, hygienists, dentists, all of them make me feel welcome and appreciated. Even the encouragement to floss more often is not overbearing, and I've asked a lot of questions as dental care has changed over the years. The event that really put this team into the Superstar category for me was an accident I had about 5 years ago. I was walking around at lunchtime on a rainy day. I jump-hopped up onto the curb like the spry man of 47 I was and the next thing I know I am face-planting into the concrete sidewalk. The coworker with me said, "It looked like you ALMOST caught yourself." It was an immense amount of force that I still shudder when I remember it today, and the impact sheared off both front teeth at an angle horizontally and the teeth cracked in half like the back of an M&M sliced off. At first I thought my entire mouth had caved in, but when I got to the emergency room I knew the back portion had just been pushed back at an angle and had not fully broken off. Dr. Patel got me in immediately and did some temporary fusing so the teeth would not break off as I was trying to sleep. Then we made an appointment for what turned out to be a complete reconstruction of those teeth from below the gumline in the back. My beautiful straight teeth were the result of braces from my grandparents, so the teeth meant something to me and I wanted to keep what I could. Dr. Patel respected that and found a way to do it. When you are certain you will lose your front teeth and someone has the expertise to do a custom repair job, it feels pretty miraculous. He even custom tinted the new teeth to match the rest of the teeth. People who saw me that day, like the firemen at the station near my fall, could not believe how good it looked after I healed. I'm on a bit of borrowed time because the accident killed the nerve to each tooth. Eventually I will need implants to replace the teeth completely. But for now, I am careful and Dr. Patel maintains the tooth repairs so I can keep the teeth. This entire team is highly recommended. Go check them out.

I felt comfortable the entire time. I also needed a guard for night grinding and come to find out that's a very common bad habit. I was fitted for a guard that day and received it a week and a half later and it fit perfectly. Before I left I scheduled to get a few chips in my teeth filled and got back in within the following week, I was in and out in less than hour and love that my teeth no longer have the awe filled chips in them from grinding!
