I am a new customer of Mosquito Squad Chicago and was a bit skeptical about the service and the claim "mosquitoes eliminated". However, after my first application, there was a significant decrease in the amount of mosquitoes in our yard. The following day, I may have seen one or two (it was windy also). It was working great (although they were not "eliminated") until it rained consistently throughout the night. The next evening, THEY WERE BACK WITH A VENGEANCE! So I called Mosquito Squad Chicago on a Thursday night and they were back and reapplied the barrier protection again on Saturday! We were out Saturday night and all day Sunday and the mosquitoes were basically gone again. I rated them 4 stars only because it is of my opinion that their claim of "mosquitoes and tick eliminated" is not entirely true. However the mosquitoes in my yard are significantly reduced and their service is top notch. I highly recommend Mosquito Squad Chicago! read more

I was 110% doubtful that this company would be successful in making my yard tolerable again. But, I was desperate. After the rain in the spring, the mosquitoes were UNBEARABLE! I had to brush them off the dogs before I could let them in the house, but some still got in. There were no nights that I could enjoy sitting on the deck in the summer warmth. Other companies told me because my yard was flat without much foliage, it would be difficult to get the mosquito spray to work well, and that would limit the guarantees. Within 1 visit from Mosquito Squad, I no longer had to run to my car to avoid being eaten alive. As part of the package, they came back as often as they needed to keep my yard free and clear of mosquitoes. They also used an animal-friendly spray, since I have dogs. I went to go visit my family in Naperville last summer. We always have cookouts in the backyard. It's a great time for the cousins to play together and to spend time with my family who I don't see all too often since we live in Virginia. I remember seeing the Mosquito Squad sign in the front yard and not thinking much of it until I realized we'd been outside and virtually bug free for the second night. I live right by two large ponds with swampy areas. We also have tons of vegetation in our yard with huge trees. The mosquitos were killing us! We could not enjoy our backyard. Since we have used Mosquito Squad we have reclaimed our outdoor area! Now nothing is perfect,and we still get a few here and there, but I would say using their services has reduced our mosquito population by 85-90%. Makes a huge difference, so much that I forget to wear bug spray when I leave home in the summer. I have lots of old growth trees on my property and have a retention pond next to me.
