What a wonderfully relaxing time I had! Thanks Marilyn R.! I have always been a fan of their previous location, but opted to come since Marilyn R. said I wouldn't regret paying a little more for a real spa-like pedicure and manicure. For my pre-pampering of my engagement party, I came here for a gel manicure, pedicure, and an eyebrow waxing. Linda greeted me upon entering, and since I was overwhelmed with all the color choices for the gel manicure, she ushered me to get my pedicure going. Mind you, I went on a Friday at 1:30 PM, and by the time I was leaving at 3PM, the place was a madhouse; coincidence? No way! Linda didn't dare to rush me; something we are all too familiar with at other locations in this area. She cleaned up my cuticles good (which is a huge pet-peeve of mine) and she took her time with my mini massage on my tired feet. They had two flat screen TV's if you wanted to see the local news, but the music that was piped through the ceiling was way better to listen to. The massage chairs were awesome! The maintenance and cleanliness of the place was shocking! I even saw a mechanic working hard on a broken massage chair, and the owner was hovering close by to make sure it was fixed properly. You could eat off the floor. Well lit, and the little crystal calenders gave the place a posh look. I sipped my water, while others around me were offered tea or coffee, similar to their other location. Overall, for spending $9 on eyebrows, $30 on my gel manicure, and $21 on my pedicure, I can honestly say that spending a little more gives you quality. Grab that frequent visitor card so on the 10th visit, you get a discount off!

I've been here before with my mother and they are nothing but kind, and I have previously rated them as so, but when I went yesterday with my boyfriend I could not only tell that the technician doing my nails was making fun of my boyfriend (which is weird considering how many men come in) but she also did a terrible job. The paint on every nail except for one is uneven, which can easily be seen in the light, and it has chipped terribly on four nails. I'm going back in a couple of hours to see if they will redo this botched job for free, but if they don't, they've lost my loyalty forever. I have had this happen to my nails when I went here before, but I thought things might have changed. They haven't. I believe the name of my technician was Emily. Or was it Linda? One or the other. UPDATE: When I asked them to fix it they just put an extra coat over the chips which made it look cheap and not at all fixed. Then they chipped even worse.

Came here with my friend on a Thursday around 3PM for their mani and pedi special for $28. We both got to sit together, but unfortunately, only one lady was working with me for my pedicure while my friend sat there the entire time with no one working on her pedicure. By the time I was done with my pedicure, she still was sitting there waiting. They switched me over to a different person for my manicure (I assume it was the boss and my friend and I got separated. We were probably better off coming by ourselves because that was what it felt like ). He kept on getting nail polish on my skin and constantly had to wipe it off. My manicure did not even last for over 4 days and it had been chipping really bad. If it wasn't for my gift certificate, I would not come here. Definitely will not return.

    She did this TWICE

Disappointed is not the word. I went in expecting something nice, like the picture I had shown them but came out with poorly done acrylics and CUTS in at least three of my fingers. To begin, when removing my old tips, LILY was rushing and being so harsh that she riped off my own nail from my right pinky along with the tips using a metrocard. It was a nightmare, bleeding and so painful, I heard her say sorry as she giggled while saying sorry, so she wasnt really sorry at all. She then tried to clip what was left of the nail while it was still bleeding. Blood was on the nail clipper and all, which is kinda gross even though they supposably disinfect all their tools (i personally wouldnt like to get a tool that had someone elses blood on it, even if it was sanitized) She continued to dig under my nails with the metrocard until she almost ripped another nail off my finger as I continuously said ouch. What really upset me is when I would ask her to do something like take out more cuticle she wouldnt do it and say "its no good" or "later" and it never got done. Once we got to the filing part, this lady filed so hard and so fast that she FILED THE SKIN OPEN, this happened twice, and I have uploaded a picture as proof. It hurt so much as it was a pretty deep cut. Nothing was applied, no neosporin or peroxide or anything to relieve and disinfect the cut. Once she finished I showed her a picture of the nails i wanted (once again) and compared to what she had done, and it was not like I wanted. They came out super thick (after dipping into the powder five times) after i specifically said I wanted them very thin and flat, and shaped a certain way. The shape also bad. Next, I asked her to add the gellac top coat and I would pay extra, she literally told me they dont do that there (really she wanted to be done and was rushing to finish and put the regular top coat on). To add to this, there was a hair on one of the nails I told her about it and she said theres nothing there and continued to apply the coat. They really dont care to listen, you ask and tell them specifically how you want them done and they say "yeah yeah ok" and do them how they want regardless. They just want to do the nails, get paid, and get you out the door. Terrible customer service. From a 0-10, i would give a -2, I was so angry leaving the place knowing I had spent so much money on nails that I did not like , and after so many times my hands were hurt. SO UPSETTING

Amanda did an amazing job on my gel mani. I love it!

I love this nail salon. After a couple horrible experiences in other salons I decided that I will only stick to Angel Gift Nail Spa II. Amanda did an amazing job on my nails. She was super meticulous. I always do gel manicure and regular pedi so I cannot vouch for any other service. They are super clean here, always using plastic linings and clean utensils. The staff is so friendly and courteous, always asking if you need tea or lemon water. I will definitely keep coming here. I always leave happy.

New business management and new business name: Magnolia Nail Spa 4 The inside of the shop is still the same as old business Le Charme but it's not the same. Service and quality isn't the same under their old manager Ryan. I personally felt like it was a trap that they continue to use the LeCharme name and website when they had clearly changed. I was confused when I arrived and saw the name change but still gave them a chance as I had booked an appointment via Le Charme website and only had that day to get my nails done before going to a wedding on the West Coast. Also, even though I had an Spa Pedicure appointment for 10AM (opening time) I still had to wait. Other customers came in (either appt or walk in) and were seen first... they also had to call for more Nail technicians to come. I sat at the manicure station flipping through gel color templates waiting for Nail tech to see me. I already choose but waiting, at one point they had forgotten me until someone asked me what I wanted and I had to repeat myself again. I picked a spa pedicure treatment and selected gel as I heard gel last longer. It was my first time getting gel but I wanted to look my best for the wedding I'll be attending. I asked for paraffin wax for my feet and callus treatment. They were confused and said paraffin is already included in the spa package (I remember it is usually for heel only and I wanted for the entire feet) but they insisted it was included and for the entire feet, so I said okay and let them do their thing. Service was decent but my nail tech had rushed and missed a few spot. She didn't apply the polish carefully and throughly. It was like coloring your hair, they always leave a gap from the hairline so you can return for touchup. In my pic, you can see my toes didn't look as nice and pic was taken about 1.5-2hrs later (after appointment, I had quick lunch and went straight home). While I did enjoy the spa pedicure, because I wanted to pamper my feet, she was abit rough at times and rushed it. And no, she didn't apply paraffin wax to the entire feet; just the heel. I was willing to pay extra but they didn't do that. If you don't know, paraffin wax help rehydrate and trap in moisture and it's particularly effective for those who often get calluses to help in removing dead skin, and healing dry patches. It acts like a form of heat therapy and can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness. It can also minimize spasms and inflammation as well as treat sprains. When it was time to pay, I thought I would have to shell out more for everything as I didn't know what the actual cost would be. I wanted Spa Pedicure package with Gel Color. Callus Treatment $10, Gel pedicure $55 & Spa Pedicure $45. I had assumed they would charge abit extra for the Gel coloring ontop of the Spa Pedicure package. After I paid and walked out (no receipt was given to me and I had hope to take a pic of the bill but the total was present quickly to me and was out of my view) and walked down the street, the owner lady came out chasing me saying I needed to pay more. I follow back and she said something else was charged to me.. again wasn't able to see the bill and had to trust her word and paid more. I finally left and disappointed later on when I examined my feet at home. I think its time to find a new Nail Salon.

The technician repeatedly focused on the corner of one toenail that appeared completely fine, continuing to poke and cut at the area despite there being no visible issue. She also seemed visibly frustrated throughout the service, sucking her teeth in frustration as she went over this area again and again with the cuticle cutters, which added to the discomfort. Now, 6 days later, I'm experiencing pain and warmth in that toe, which makes me concerned that the excessive cutting has resulted in irritation and may have even caused an ingrown toenail -- not cool, very awkward & disappointing experience. Manicure: The manicure itself was acceptable, but the process felt inconsistent and unstructured. Each hand was treated differently, and tools--specifically the cuticle nipper--were not cleaned during the service, resulting in visible buildup of cuticle cuttings on the tool, which was unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Overall, this experience left me uncomfortable and disappointed, and I wouldn't return.

I had what might be the most unpleasant nail appointment I've ever sat through. From the start, she was rushing, and not in a subtle way. When I politely asked her to ease up because she was hurting me, she barely grazed her glove and said "see? Doesn't hurt" -- completely dismissing what I was telling her about my own pain. She then continued at the same pace and pressure. Being heard was simply not on the agenda. The quality of the work matched the attitude. One of my nails had a visible thread of polish hanging off it, clearly about to crack, and when I pointed it out she told me she didn't know what I was talking about and couldn't see anything. I could see it. And sure enough, by the end of the same day, that nail had already cracked and was looking overgrown. Same-day results like that tell you everything you need to know. I paid good money to leave feeling dismissed, hurt, and with nails that were already failing before I got home. I'd strongly recommend requesting a different tech if you visit Latouie -- or doing your research before sitting down.

I was initially told a nail design would cost $40, but after I declined, the price suddenly dropped to $10, which felt misleading. The worst part was that I was left with my hands under the UV lamp while my technician walked away to do someone else's pedicure.
