I had a very disappointing and painful experience at this salon. The male technician who worked on me was extremely rough and careless while removing my gel polish. The drill slipped and cut into the skin around my nail, leaving me with an open wound. I asked multiple times for him to slow down because I felt burning from the drill, but he ignored me and continued, hurting me several more times. I eventually had to stop the service and ask the front desk to switch me to a different person. This should never happen nail services should be done carefully and safely. read more

i love that this place is appointments only. I've came twice so far but only for the gel pedicures. They are clean and fast. I love their white polish because it's super white and stays on for a long long LONG time. My only real complaint is that 2 different workers have cut me before and it stung really bad (thank god I did not have any infections). you just need to speak up and tell them to stop cutting the cuticle area. read more

This nail salon is still very personable but lately my last couple of visits have been subpar to say the very least. The environment is not nearly as clean and spotless as it used to be which is a shame. There is nail filing dust on all the tables and they aren't wiped down thoroughly between clients. The quality of my nails have also been dismal. I usually go for basic gel nails and the last time I went, the polish was layered thick and did not even reach the edges of my nail bed. I was 9 months pregnant and tired so I didn't make a fuss because I wanted to go home already after an hour and a half of getting my nails done. Mind you I work in the laboratory so I keep my nails very short unless I'm going on vacation, and I wasn't too happy with how my nails turned out. Their gel color books are sort of falling apart and most of the books seem similar in color shades. I don't feel like this nail salon is worth making the trip out for me personally anymore. If it's near you then by all means try them out for yourself, but if it's out of your way, I wouldn't recommend it anymore. read more

Overall, great value for price and services. Customer service is good, but can be better. Cost I have been to Glorious Nail 2x now and it is very reasonably priced. A gel manicure and pedicure is around $64. I have received a French gel and a gel manicure with sparkle top coat. Customer service Don't expect a warm welcome or super friendly service here, but they are efficient. Both times when I arrived, the receptionist did not acknowledge me or respond to my "hello". He is efficient but again, not too friendly. They try to make up for it at the end and ask how the experience was, but it often seems rushed and awkward. Because prices are reasonable, they schedule a lot of people back to back. Hence it is a little chaotic sometimes. The first time I came here, I was pleased with my nail technician. The second time, my nail technician kept complaining about my request (sand sparkle top coat) until the receptionist talked me into a standard top coat. That was a bit frustrating. If she had said she didn't have time or it was an additional cost fine, but she said nothing to me directly and just complained / argued with the receptionist. It really damper my experience. In the end, my nails looked ok but seemed a bit harried. Some nails are more round than square. She was also abrasive with the electronic file they use. Ambiance Seems clean and organized. Lots of colors to choose from which is a huge plus and they do designs. Overall Great for the price. If you're interested in nails with designs or don't care for a "relaxing" experience definitely check them out. I'm on the fence about whether or not I'll return. read more

With COVID, i wanted to find a new nail salon that was super clean and followed protocols. I'm glad I found Glorious Nail - the salon is super clean inside and they take your temperature before coming in. The filters and foot scrubs are all one time use, and the pedicure station has a plastic bag over the tub. While prices are a little steep for a pedicure ($25) with no massage unless you pay for it, I would probably come back. My boyfriend also enjoyed his pedicure and didn't feel uncomfortable being the only male customer. Now, for the gel manicure I would definitely come back. My nails were painted perfectly for $30. Next time I will try to get the ombré design nails for $50. However, my visit back depends on how long the gel nail polish will last.... will update my review later on based on this. As a plus, the owner/manager is super friendly! I was told my toes were dry and I could put on my boots to leave. When i got home, I found two toes smudged and the owner said I could come back any time to get it fixed. Great customer service! I can literally see why they have such great ratings. This may or may not be a long post but it is absolutely well-deserved. First, it was easy to make an appointment and Ken the manager responded to me very quickly. I had lots of questions and he entertained them all. When I arrived today, I still was not 100% sure about how I wanted my nails done - design, length, shape. Ken and Yeye helped me with it all! They were so patient with my indecisiveness. The best part for me was that they advised me with the integrity and health of my natural nails being most important! $62 for powder dip nails. I was quoted $30 for powder dip nails. $5 for each stripe nail and $10/nail for a hibiscus design. They quoted me $5 per striped nail and i just realized now that they actually charged me $6/stripe nail. Stripes took longer to do. At first I brought her a photo of a hibiscus flower for the design. She tried several times but it just didn't come out right. I then asked her to switch to the heart and she did it easily. The original quote was for $10 for the hibiscus design which was more intricate. We settled on the heart design later when the hibiscus didn't work out. The heart design took a lot less time than the stripes and I feel it should have been $5 each as well and not $10/nail. I appreciate her patience. She never rushed and really took her time to ensure that I was happy with the end product. I tipped the woman $20 because she took over 2 hours and aimed to please. I love how they have many colors for gel. Many sheer colors which I love. Designs were a bit pricey. It was $9 each for the gemstones. I would rate it 5stars if the gemstones didn't change colors after one week. It had a rusty colors around it. (Really meant to give 3.5 star) but they don't have that options. & if they're charging $9 for one nail, the gemstones shouldn't change colors. It lasted over a month. I came in last week with my sister, excited to get our nails done for my upcoming wedding. We were led to a chair and someone immediately started working on our pedis without any introductions. I tried to show her a picture of the color of a pink/nude I wanted but she kept suggesting essie's marshmallow, which is white. She seemed annoyed and frustrated and when someone else helped me find a color, she said "that's nude, not pink." ... Ok? If there's a place I love, it's Glorious. I messaged them via Yelp maybe a week beforehand to book for 4 people. I was clear that it would be me getting my nails done for my 21st birthday, with my boyfriend and friends getting manicures/pedicures. They responded first out of all the salons I messaged, excellent response time and customer service. Gave me all the info I needed over the phone. I'm a receptionist lol, so I super appreciated a good receptionist. They checked in with us half an hour before to confirm our appointment and even made accommodations when we ran late. Chris/Kris (?) did SNS for me on my natural nails. It was my first experience and I was a little skeptical but am glad I let her do her thing. She is a literal pro and got all the details correct to the photo I provided. She checked that all my nails were the same length (with none crooked) routinely and that the design was exact to the photo (even trying to mimic the gold flake patterns). Kris helped me with side to side ombré, French, and the gold flakes (I had all three on various nails in the design). She did nick me twice with the efile, but shit happens lol! I didn't hear complaints from anyone else I went with and I really loved the hot Saran heel wrap they finished the pedicures with. All in all, every person I interacted with was kind, helpful, and informative. And most importantly, my nails looked great and stayed for 3+ weeks with no issues. Will 300% be back! read more

I decided to give them one star because they were actually really friendly, welcoming and easy going. Cindy was very keen to details in the beginning but the final result was not great, not even good. It was bumpy, not smooth, cuticles were flamed up, and uneven. I notice the mistakes and had her go fix the nail. She was attentive but even after fixing it. It didn't make a difference. I'm not sure if I came on one of her off days but I was truly not satisfied with my nails. As much as I wanted to like the nails I couldn't help but to look at it's flaws. read more

Honestly one of the best Nail Salons I've been to in NYC in a while. I started coming here when I moved back from jersey. They take covid very serious here. They follow all safety protocols. Your temperature is taken upon arrival. It's always best to book your appointment in advance because if you show up chances are they don't have time for you. This place does amazing nail art and I absolutely love it. The prices here are great and reasonable. Super friendly owner and nail techs. My go to nail tech is nicole. Her work is amazing. I have shorter nails with a smaller nail bed. I always come in with some crazy design that are meant to be more for longer nails but she always makes it happen on my little nails! I always get gel polish and they always manage to last 3 weeks or unless i decide i want to peel them ha. They accept cash or card. Parking here is some convenient here which is great. read more
