I brought in reference photos of what I wanted and Coco was able to match the colors for me. My first manicure was 4 different colors so matching the colors were so confusing. 5 shades of the same color were throwing me off and made me indecisive so I'm very grateful for Coco's help. Save yourself time and money. My pedicure, which wasn't great to begin with, took 3 hours. The technician spoiled the nail polish by touching the nail surface to check if it's dry using 'nail poke' method. I was thinking in my head - what on earth is she doing by poking the wet polish with her own nails after 10 min of drying only? Obviously she made a mark and ruined it. But wait, after a new coat that I had to dry forever, other technicians came and did the same poke. Same spoiled finish result. Lol. Like are you all fish in the tank? ?? read more

Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it's not too far or too much of a hassle for me to get there. It was my first time doing my nails here but everything looked new and clean (not sure how long they've been open for). *Note: I did my nails here pre-covid so it's been a while. (I know this review is long overdue). Staff were nice and didn't have to wait too long (I was a walk-in). I don't have a picture of my nails anymore but I used black and white with a simple lined design for two fingers on each hand. Unfortunately, I can't say that the design came out that well. It wasn't terrible but honestly, not that great. Lastly, I know that since it's not gel the polish can easily chip but the polish chipped off the same day I got them done and I didn't even do anything that could possibly chip them off that quickly so I wasn't too happy about that considering the prices. Yea idk I'm having mixed feelings about this place. The first time I came in for a dip powder set it was on a Sunday afternoon. Of course it was busy. It was done by zoey/joy forgot her name. She did a base dip and 3 color dip. Didn't bother doing a top coat dip. She filed it down with the machine. After finishing it off with a regular top coat polish, She slapped some lotion on and was done. So she thinks that by using the machine, it skips the step of cutting the cuticles. Very disappointed. It was like a half ass job. Like my cuticles was screaming for some cuticle oil and to be cut. Ok whatever maybe she'll do it next time since it was busy I came back for a second set 3 weeks after on a weekday. It wasn't busy. So when it's NOT busy she decides to do the right thing because this time she did a top coat dip. And this time around she kept cutting my cuticles (in a bad way) with the machine and that is my absolute pet peeve. She end up cutting my skin on multiple fingers. Of course she jumps to the next customer and had her co worker put some lotion on my hand and call it a day. I guess it's a thing to think that they don't cut cuticles just because they use the machine. It doesn't give a perfect manicure without cutting the cuticles! Or my money's worth! read more

Although the staff was friendly, the high prices did not match quality! Firstly, they use tubs that are not even attached to any type of plumbing. Secondly, if you don't get your manicure or a pedicure done by the owner, you're going to get poor quality. Lastly, the damp towels that they use after your manicure and pedicure smell moldy! You know that smell that comes out of a piece of cloth after it's been sitting wet for too long? That is mold that you are smelling! And all their towels smell like that! One day I was there late till closing time and I noticed that they do not use their washing/ drying machine to wash/dry their towels. They just hand wash and wring them and then just hang them on the branch-like coat rack. And that is why they smell moldy! With mold, you can obviously contaminate your nails, and get nail fungus! So I would avoid this place at all costs!!! read more

I did a extension SNS manicure on Monday and started to chip the second day and I have to wait until today to go back to fix because my work schedule. It turns out 9/10 nails chipped and one of the extensions felt completely. When finished the owner charged me 15 dollars because I decided to change the color. I don't agree with this because the whole reason I go back there " to change the color" because they didn't do it right at the first time which I paid over 50 dollars and I tipped her 18 dollars. Not to mention she didn't inform me there's a extra charge by dipping my finger in the same material but different color. I didn't make them do any extra work, actually they did less because I didn't have them do the coffin shape as I have done on Monday. Instead they charge me to fix their lossy work because I " change the color". I paid anyway and left with disappointment. I won't recommend this store. read more

My roommate and I have been trying to find a decent nail salon closer to home and I think this ones a winner! It's brand new so there are still some kinks to work out but overall it's a great salon. We both got SNS dip powder and it was $35. They have a decent selection of colors with plenty of pinks and reds to tons of darker colors and sparkles. And they technicians were very thorough and detail oriented. I mean that as in it took close to two hours to remove our old dip from another salon and prep and apply the new color. To be fair the old salon did really thick layers. And when I say detail oriented, I mean they were perfectionists in the sense that they tried to bring the color as close to my cuticles as possible. I am giving this place a three because I loved how my nails came out however I got my nails done with us and then September 3 today is September 12 and for Nails already came off, SNS dip powder is supposed to last 3 to 3 1/2 weeks even longer depending on your movement. However this did even last two weeks and it's very disappointing because I love how they came out. Mixed feeling about this place. I'm not going to leave a low star review because I'm not into ruining businesses' ratings. But it was an okay job. I do my own nails, but sometimes I get lazy and I just want other people to help me shape my nails or cut my cuticles. As you can see, not really a decent job. The girl took her time. I appreciated that, but she didn't really push my cuticles back, which made the gel polish not shaped right because she can't apply it to the shape of my nail bed. She did push it back, I just don't understand why didn't she apply the polish closer. She left a huge uneven gap. Her application was even also , which made the fact that after it dried under the lamp, I can feel bumpiness to the nails. As you can see on my thumb nail, there was even an air bubble. Right hand is average. Left hand is unacceptable. Color is fine, I asked for the color. Just not a fan of the application, the manicure process because it felt like I could've done a better job. I did not have an appointment when I stepped into this store. The staff took my temperature and name down and sanitized my hands. I had Joy to do my gel manicure. She was patient but quick. The nails look little rushed because there were some customers waiting. I like the colors but the cuticles could be cleaned better. The price was a bit high compared to the nearby stores. I'm pretty upset I even have to write this, but I feel like I was taken advantage of & my perspective changed of this place. Sns is advertised as $35, but I after my manicure I was charged $50. $5 to remove gel (I previously did from their salon) & $10 extra for additional colors? (I did 2 colors + 1 sparkle). I felt that was a little ridiculous especially to not alert the customer of additional charges. No salon has ever charged me more than $2 for an additional color & I have never been charged to remove gel. I wasn't charged to remove my sns the last time I came in either...I barely even soaked off, the drill was used to take off my gel & she soaked the little bit remaining on my nails. I don't appreciate the inconsistency of prices it just feels like they throw a random price at you. I previously paid $50 for regular gel with a glitter ombré (that's fair), but for $50 sns with no design? Unfortunately I won't be back. read more

I work right next door and wanted to find a new nail salon to go to. This salon best works for me! My technician was Coco, she was so delightful! I did a gel manicure with two different colors for $28. This is currently an average price in the market. But given how clean and boutique like this salon is, it is deff worth it!
