One of the many Shell stations in Kirkland. This one is in downtown Kirkland across from Kirkland Urban and Peter Kirk Park. It is also close to I-405. It is not a gas station that I go out of my way to fill up at since I live in Bellevue. But I saw that their current gas prices were lower than the gas stations near my home, so I stopped by as I was in the area. T-Mobile usually offers a Shell discount on Tuesday through their T-Mobile Tuesdays program and coupled with the standard Shell Rewards discount, it makes the gas prices even better. Gas station itself is pretty typical and as expected. I would fill up again here if I was nearby and the gas prices were competitive. read more

I always go there to get a cigarette or water, they really friendly the only issue is that there price of cigarettes is higher than that of KFC read more

I stop by almost every morning for my redbull. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Will continue coming here just for the pleasant customer service experience. read more

I don't know if this place is closed or what is going on here...Pulled in Sunday evening around 10PM and went through the whole card process and then the pump didn't work when I tried to start! The car at another station was having the same problem. Then canceling the transaction was not that simple. The lights were off in the little store too. For being the only gas station in that little downtown area it was extremely disappointing. There are lots on the East side of the freeway so I am not even going to waste my time to try and go here again. Put up signs if the pumps don't work! read more

DONT GO! The guy at the counter gives the worst attitude to all of the customers. I have been stopping by to get snacks at mini market - and there was no single time when I wouldn't go out not being treated bad. Either the pump doesn't work, either the guy give attitude when snacks or drinks. Today was the last drop. The guy not only pissed of the customer in front of me - he refused accepting $50 dollar bill from me for a purchase of two drinks. That was the only bill I had on me. My issue with this downtown Kirkland Shell station is that they NEVER set the pump to give you your 10¢ per gallon QFC Advantage Card discount. They scan your card, deduct your points, and I'm sure QFC pays the differential - so they make 10¢ more per gallon than they're supposed to. Gas is expensive enough without these shady guys taking the discount you earned. read more

Moss Bay Shell - Rudest Clerks ever! - Gas Stations Near Me - Kirkland, Washington

Awful. I went to this gas station at 12:30 last night and the place was dark but the pumps were still on and lit up ready for me to slide my card. NO indication that they were out of service. I pulled up, went through the whole "process" of entering my rewards number for QFC and my zip code, etc. only to not get any gas out of the nozzle. It said "pump now"...nothing. After a minute of trying to re-position the nozzle - assuming it was my fault since the pumps "looked" ready for use - I moved to a different pump. Same issue. While searching for another gas station all these negative Yelp reviews popped up. Between the customer service and the lack of ANY service from the pumps, how is this place still standing? Summary: Screw this place and go to the one on 12520 NE 85th St. read more

I gave 1 star because you can not do zero. until today I was a regular at this gas station as a whole the monopoly on gas close to where I live now. I don't generally write reviews but the service was so bad today I had to. The man working at the counter was extremely rude almost throwing my change at me because he didn't have a lot of change in the till. This is really the only gas station left right in Kirkland. Prices are high, but considering that there is no other option across the street anymore due to redevelopment eliminating the Texaco, it's not too bad. Access is still OK given all the construction, but once the new Kirkland Urban is done that may change. My complaint is that the pumps are SLOW...like crazy slow. It takes easily twice as long to fill up here. If you're in a hurry go somewhere else. read more

Pretty bizarre to say the least. I lost a set of keys to another car and was checking everywhere I had stopped that day- when I checked with this Shell, I first had a very difficult time of simply relaying the issue. I was told "we don't take keys", which contextually....didn't make much sense? I asked the attendant to possible check the till, and was told they have no keys- I asked if she worked the day before, and the answer was "no" with a 'gtfo and leave me alone' tone. /sigh So while it's unlikely (although I only made 3 stops before realizing keys were missing), my keys could be sitting somewhere behind that counter. If I end up in the asylum a decade from now, my mental breakdown will certainly have been brought about by the intense neurotic stress of never knowing what was in that damn register... read more

Horrible station. I'm here now at 12:30am and the pumps are on. I entered my credit card and selected the grade but nothing comes out. I tried three different pumps and three different grades. Each time nothing. It appears they turned off the gas at the tanks without turning off their pumps. Stupid. I'll never come here again. read more

I go in and buy a pack of cigarettes that rings up on the register as $9.13. I hand him a $20 and he enters the cash provided in manually as $10.00 and then hands me back $10. When I inquire RAOUF the attendant who also claimed to be the OWNER he began rudely screaming at me the words "TAX, TAX, TAX!" I explain to him the register rang up $9.13 and that I gave him a $20 to be tendered not a $10. I asked him for a receipt and he initially tried to refuse to give me one. I demanded a receipt and he then threw it at me and said here you go now dont ever come back here again. As a new resident to Kirkland who would prefer a local gas station such as Moss Bay Shell to crossing the freeway, to me its worth the inconvenience to go over the freeway to never give this man or this business a dime of my money again on principle alone. read more

WORST experience! I give this place a ZERO. After attempting to get gas using my card at the pump I enter the market to see what is wrong. The owner tells me to get the mechanic next door. This doesn't quite add up in my mind, not seeing how the mechanic will help me in this situation. So I move to another pump. This time it tells me directly to see the cashier. Immediately when I enter the owner yells at me. Finally while yelling, he asks how much I want to pump. I have never seen nor experienced such rude service before in my life. If I could give a negative number I would! The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Paid for gas and I needed to use the vacuum. I gave the cashier a dollar for a token and was told the air did not work, it didn't matter since I needed to vacuum. The machine is a combo device and there was no distinction for air slot or vacuum. I evidently picked the wrong one. I went in and explained what happened, the cashier told me "my problem or your problem!" He refused to give me another token and told me to get out of his business! Stopped by this Shell station to fill up my car on my way out of Kirkland. After paying at the pump and starting the fill up process, I ran inside to use the facilities (cause I was doing the dance, if you know what I mean). When I entered the empty store, I asked the already unfriendly attendant to point me in the direction of the restroom, which he begrudgingly did. Afterwards, I thanked him on my way out and he rudely barked at me that the restroom was for customers only. Sorry, I guess the $60 in gas I was currently pumping didn't qualify me as a customer?! When I pointed that out, he was even more pissed that he had to "sort of" apologize. Maybe a lot of non-customers use the facilities and he's tired of it, but ask me on the way in or at least be nice about it. It's not like anyone WANTS to use a gas station bathroom... Or, don't have a public restroom if you don't want your customers to use it. Anyway, I'll be visiting the Chevron the next block up from now on. read more

If i could give it a zero, i would! The guy who says he is the manager is very rude, with no good reason. I had a pre-payed debit card that you cannot use at the pump, so i went inside and told him i needed $ on the pump and i have a QFC card. He starts yelling at me, telling me to go outside and do it at the pump. He finally took my payment inside, and i left telling him he did not have to yell at me! I stopped going there after that. Well, i was in a hurry and wanted to use my QFC points today, and my bank card can be used at the pump, so i did not plan on having to converse with this rude person again. I punched in my number, scanned my credit card and it said "Begin Pumping", but the pump would not pump. I went inside and after ignoring me for a while i told him the pump was not working and asked him if he had to do something inside to get it to work. He told me my card was declined and to call my bank, in front of all the customers waiting in line to pay on top of it. I told him my card was NOT declined. Even if i had no money on it, it would have accepted it as my bank has the overdraft protection on the debit card. but i knew there was plenty of money in my account. I told him again, it says "Begin Fueling", and asked him to come out and look at it, which he refused and kept repeating that my card was declined. I asked for the manager, and he said i am the manager. Then acted like i was not there again and went about his business. I will not give this station another penny of my money! There are plenty of other gas stations, and another Shell up 85th, which, by the way, i went to and it worked perfectly! read more
