I previously had our water tested by an independent lab and, even though Grant did not know about these lab results, everything he said lined up with the lab results I had. I appreciate the honesty in something that seems like it can sometimes be a shady business. Mike came out for the install. I liked that he came with the right tools for the job and clearly knew what he was doing. He made sure everything was done exactly right and explained the water softener in detail. We have been using them for salt deliveries, which have been on time and reliable. Water Boy feels like a very wholesome and positive family company, which I very much prefer over some faceless corporation with cheesy sales people.

Last year, almost a year from today, our pool pump motor took a dump. I went in and they attached my impeller to a new motor and installed a new motor shaft seal and all on the same day. Today my wife called while I was at work and said our pump wasn't working. After a little investigating it seemed the pump motor was out again. Looked at it and it seemed there had been a leak under the bottom of the motor. Took it in to Mark and he deemed the motor shaft seal had failed. Took my motor, told me he get me a new motor, attached an upgraded shaft seal and attached the impeller. They called as promised, same day service, and it was warrantied. If you need pool items or any supplies I highly suggest you go see Mark and the team at The Poolside Shop for honest and reliable service.

I chose Glenn because he answered every question that I had. He was a local vendor and available for any follow up service that I may need. He sent the electrician to my house for the electrical work. The next day Glenn delivered my hot tub and the electrician came back to do the final hook up. Two years ago I decided I wanted the cover turned so that it opens in another direction. I called Glenn and in a couple days he was there to fix it the way I wanted it. I've had a couple minor things happen and when I called Glenn he walked me thru the problem over the phone, no service call needed and no charge. April 2020 my hot tub has been cold for about a month. I think the heat pump went out. We are in the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic and the store is not open but I called anyway and left a message. Glenn called me back within an hour. I just wanted to know how much a heat pump costs. He asked me what it said on the display and when I told him SL he said there's nothing wrong with my pump that I had put the hot tub in sleep mode (you can stop laughing now). So he told me how to get it out of sleep mode and it's working fine again. I can't say enough about the excellent customer service I have received from him which is probably the most important part of the whole purchase. So if you are looking to buy a hot tub do yourself a favor and go see Glenn. You won't be disappointed.

Pool town employees are not knowledgeable about the products they sell. All major questions are directed to Rick, who is also the installer. After one year our liner has a leak. They claim there is a warranty on liners but only cover manufacturer defect. Avoid installation from Rick and buy your pool from somewhere else. Now we have to go to an outside contractor because Rick is rude and pool town is refusing to help us.

Came back a week later to put the deposit down and the price "went up" to $6,000 and they wouldn't honor the quote. He told us that the one we bought had a 220 cord and we could simply plug it in and be good with it. Once the hot tub was delivered we noticed there wasn't a plug. We called the store and they told us "yeaaaah that doesn't have a plug. You have to hardwire it into the actual box." So not only did they not honor the original price, but they mislead my wife and I about how to hook up the hot tub and we are forced now to find an electrician to come out and spend over $1,000 to hook up the hot tub. Spoke with Ricky and he has the worst attitude. He doesn't give a crap about customer service. He simply cares about taking your money and not taking care of his customers. Read the reviews on here... he can't run a business. He said "I should have known better" about hooking up a hot tub and was very condensending. When I reminded him what he told my wife and I he simply said "well I guess there was a miscommunication but there will be no compensation." No compensation even after misleading a guest. They provided me with a detailed list of exactly the parts necessary to repair my unit. When the parts came in, I rescheduled an appointment, and the same guys arrived to fix the tub. At that point, they informed me that there was now a problem with a leaking pump motor. Again, they provided me with a detailed invoice. I am currently waiting on the parts to arrive. Thankfully, I was given the opportunity to speak with the owner. A first class gentleman. Turns out that one of the repair men is the owner's son. Obviouly, the companies run by an excellent business man and also father; as his son was a top-notch repairmen. There's a company closer to me (4 miles) that I didn't hire, because they told me a few things that weren't true (a fucking liar) I am much better off with the Hot Tub Outlet.
