They're selling Pokémon cards at/above scalping price. Be aware. Don't go to LGS like this if you don't want to pay above msrp.

Good spot to buy comics books. People are friendly. I bought my Yugioh starter deck here.

Awful experience. If I could leave a 0, I would. Arrogant, smug customer service…read more Came in to trade in a killer bundle I got in an estate. GameCube bundle, with 2 GC systems (admittedly one without cables, but both fully operations), something like 20 GC (run of the mill) games, 2 memory cards, 2 Gameboy adapters CIB with the discs, 5 controllers, wireless adapter, along with some vintage Gameboy Advance boxes for some premium games. Probably if parsed, an $800 value. Understanding the place has to make money on it, guy offers me "like $100 bucks". Ridiculous offer, like I was a crackhead. The unfortunate part is, I've been here several times, and enjoy the selection, and the prices on the used stuff are good. But after being treated like a junkie looking for fast cash, I'll never come back. Thing is, I was willing to use this as trade-in value to put BACK into the store. Called around locally, and got several better offers, and proceeded to even go onto sellmygames.com and had an offer for $450 for everything. Thanks GameXChange, but I'll go to Stateline, ebay, or for that matter, FB marketplace... anywhere else. Avoid at all cost. Oh, and I copied in their website pic, offering the best in trade-in. Might want to change that GameXchange, since that's obviously not the case. Manage and train your people. Happy to discuss if this was just a blip on the radar.

Found this place 2 years ago when I relocated to Enfield. This was my go-to place for games, Funko…read morepops and anything anime or marvel. I would shop weekly. The music was always appealing. Dan had a great playlist. It was definitely nicer and cleaner than the Wallingford location. I used to love this place. Dan and Renna are amazing. But apparently this company doesn't value their employees. Ever since the assistant manager from Wallingford has been here it's been a nightmare. I had terrible experiences with Wallingford but apparently this store is turning into the same atmosphere as Wallingford. I do not plan to shop here anymore. A once amazing gaming store with an amazing store manager is now just a mediocre store with overpriced games and items. I shopped here because I liked the environment and customer service. You have messy workers who tell company business. I'm very disappointed. I've attached a pic of a console and game that I bought while Dan worked there. It's memories like this you can't replace. Not many workers are knowledgeable of retro games.

Located next to Village Pizza, we stopped in because the nostalgic character drinking glasses in…read morethe window intrigued me. There was a great selection of comic books organized well. I ended up getting a Smurfette figurine while my husband chatted with the owner, I think. He graciously was giving my husband price estimates and guidelines even though my husband was thinking about selling his comics on Ebay. This guy really knew his stuff and had such a depth of comic history and information about various characters. He had also worked at the theater for 20 years, and my husband and him compared memories of the theater and we got to hear about secret, historical things in the theater as well. Really a great guy and making the store a wonderfully, helpful resource. It is guys like him that make small towns a special place to visit and the world a smaller, more friendly, warmer, better place.

I'm not a huge comics type of gal but my better half sure does love them! We were on a quick weekend getaway and, after hitting up the awesome bagel spot down the street, we came right in. Cool little local spot, not a franchise, they sell a lot of local work from the area. The girl in the counter was awesome and very helpful. She was very interactive and down to earth also showed us some sections where they have the dollar comics at. We found a little gem in there and also left with one of the older original Flash issues. The owner was very reasonable and willing to even negotiate on it. I know if we lived locally I would know where to find my halfsie at, definitely in here! If we're ever back in the area, for sure I know he'll be back.

"Two of us riding nowhere Spending someone's hard-earned…read morepay" (Lennon and McCartney) Our "de-cluttering the house" mission continues, and today my quest took me to Two Guys Comics and Collectibles in Canton, CT with a white shopping bag in hand. Inside the bag were some Simpson's memorabilia I was looking to sell, namely (don't laugh) 50 Simpsons pogs and two empty boxes of Simpsons cereal. For the curious, they would be Bart Simpson Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch and Homer's Cinnamon Donut. I met with Carl (one of the two Two Guys), and found him to be a very nice down to earth young man. He looked at what I brought in, and did some pricing research while I looked around. Two Guys is quite the destination for pop culture nerds who can't get enough of comics, DVDs for a buck, collectible figurines (Star Wars and Marvel are popular), graphic novels, games and a treasure chest of cool stuff. One cool thing I learned was that the Two Guys are hosting a Community Day tomorrow to come in and schmooze, with free comics to kids under ten. I had done some research on what my stuff had recently sold for on-line, and then cut that number in half to approximate what I was looking for.  I was thrilled when Carl came back with the exact same number! So my first visit and transaction with Two Guys was 100% pleasurable and satisfactory. As we continue to thin out our 35+ years of accumulated stuff, I suspect I'll be returning to see those Two Guys again.
