They went surfing at the spot Point Break was filmed and a small part of Twilight. The price is excellent. The whole package for the two of them was about 140.00 for the entire day to rent the boards and full gear. We will continue to go back every time we visit and get our annual Cleanline hoodies.

I loved this shop!…read more If you need gloves or ear muffs they have them - it's cold and windy on the pacific coast! They have a wide selection of men's and women's clothing, hats and some children's goods as well as mugs and magnets and such. Super friendly staff and fair prices. I got some very nice gloves that are nicer than the ones I forgot at home. I also purchased a very nice and soft, comfy oversized sweater.

They had a clear section with stuff for up to 18 months and then like small for kids, but that was too big for my two year old and I wasn't going to spend too much time looking if they weren't going to make it easy.

I went to purchase a shirt that was on the 75% off rack. Once I purchased the shirt I had realized…read morethat they charged me sales tax on the original item which was $30, instead of the $7.50 that I actually paid for the shirt. When I confronted the employee working, she said that she knew I was getting charged the tax for the full item, but still did nothing, and did not give me my money back. From what I know- this is actually illegal, to overcharge a customer on sales tax. This is such a dishonest way to run a business- who knows how long they have been doing this to people.

The store is filled with treasures; think clothes, hats, stickers and greeting cards (but there's much more!). I took a star off because while the service was friendly, there was one employee who wouldn't stop talking to us, which made it difficult to actually shop.

Hal's General Store and Hal's Emporium are in the same location but in two different buildings…read more I've always went into Hal's General Store thinking it was Hal's Emporium, which was just a slight oversight on my part because they are owned and operated by the same person. Hall's General Store is what it sounds like and what my first review was mainly on so this time I'm going to focus on Hal's Emporium side of the business. It is more crafts and gift side with a discount item section in the back. You have to experience Hal's Emporium to full appreciate review. All I can really say is that you'll save a lot of money and find really interesting stuff at both stores. It is well worth stopping in and browsing about. Over a year later, I still like shopping at both stores.
