This motel was definitely worth the price! After walking in the door we saw some blood stains and other stains. Just in case you wanted to share rooms the connecting door handle was falling off. Throughout the stay, at the beginning of the night we were welcomed with howling in the halls. There was also someone walking outside our window knocking on it very once in a while letting us know he was keeping us safe. The beds were itchy and people knocked on our doors a few times just in case we were feeling lonely. And the people next to us were knocking on the door that connects our rooms. There was a Jeffery Dahmer Christmas caroling party above us which I was disappointed we didn't get any invites to. They even provided us a pet rat in our room you could hear it scurry across the wooden floors. Overall amazing motel 100% would recommend! read more

We needed a place to stay for one night that accepted dogs. We booked through BringFido. After a full day's drive, we arrived at the motel. It was right next to I-15, which by itself wasn't a huge deal. The grounds around the motel were not maintained, to include dead/untrimmed grounds and dead trees, litter, garbage, and loads of dog feces. The parking lot had sketchy characters late at night. The motel had signs up warning to secure your valuables, so they seemed to know about the area. I was concerned, so I brought everything up to the room for fear of the car being broken into. The stairwells and hallways were dirty, and the card key entry device at one door was not working, so anyone could gain entry. One entry door was propped open by a small rock. I notified the front desk, but they did nothing. The room wasn't much better in terms of cleanliness. The mattress was thin and seemed old. The room was ice cold and the a/c kept running even though it was a chilly 65 degrees. I called the front desk, and the man who came up looked at it, took the faceplate off the thermostat, then put it back on and said it was fixed. It was not. When we woke up the next morning, the room was 60 degrees. The bed did not have sufficient blankets, so we froze all night. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper and generally seemed unclean. Some of the electrical sockets did not work. We have stayed in other Motel 6 establishments that were clean and comfortable. The Motel 6 in Lehi was the most filthy, creepy motel I have ever stayed in. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but here. read more

On the back side it's very loud from the highway. I liked that the sink is with the toilet as almost every motel 6 I've stayed has the sink separate. Rooms are dark. Beds are average. Not super clean. There was a blood stain in my first bed and some melted thing under the tv in my second room as well as hairs in the bathroom. This place is so bad. They don't even follow their own pet rules. The rules say they will clean every day. We stayed here for 5 nights and they never cleaned our room. The hotel said they cleaned the room every other day. I finally asked the hotel to clean our room specifically and they said "Yes, we will make sure to clean your room." The hotel asked for my room number. I came back and again the room was not cleaned. They never replaced the towels. Every night I came back. I had to ask for towel replacements at the front desk every single night I stayed here. The towels were always dirty, stained and always had hair. The bed had hairs underneath the sheets. I can never come back here. You get what you pay for, I guess. But I think this place isn't that cheap for how low the quality is. We stayed here because of our pets. read more

Overall my stay was fine but I wouldn't encourage anyone to stay here unless you're really in a pinch. I had reserved a non-smoking room and when I arrived the only room they had available was on the smoking floor so the smell was terrible. The room faced the highway so was super loud all night long and was not well cleaned. The thermostat did not regulate correctly so it was either super hot or freezing cold. The door directly across from mine had a hole punched through it which didn't do anything to make me feel especially safe. All that said, the price was great (half the price of any other hotels/motels I looked at in the area) and the staff were very friendly and helpful! If you're not planning to actually be in the room much this is a fine place to stay and definitely a bargain but probably not my first choice if I return to Lehi. read more

The staff here are aggressively inept. They refused to honor their own third-party billing agreement. I had to call corporate and speak with a representative, who assured me the only thing the person needed to check in was their ID. They confirmed the card on file should be billed, but the person at the front desk simply didn't want to allow them to check in. Additionally, they tried to tell guests (who've been there longer than the people at the front desk would like) that they had to leave for 2 days. They wouldn't allow them to renew their reservation until they got corporate involved. WTF. read more

We got in late after driving and we're exhausted and ready for a shower and a good night's sleep. I understand this is a motel, but at $75, this was extremely disgusting... First of all, we asked for a quiet room, hopefully away from a highway and loud guests. However there were several college kids smoking Amd hanging out outside our window, loudly, and still are...at midnight. The shower set off the smoke alarm, the sheets had all sorts of other people's hair in them, the counters are stained Amd have chips, the walls have holes, the curtains and bedding is ripped and stained. Disgusting. We want a refund. We stopped driving from exhaustion Amd don't know where else to stay.! read more

We moved to Utah from out of state and had to find a place to stay before our new home was finished . I came across this place primarily because they accepted dogs. We got our keys and walked into the most clean room. The flooring was hard laminate which was nice with our dog. Did I mention how inexpensive it was . That was a great help since we ended up staying here 5 weeks. The front desk staff was always so kind and helpful . The cleaning staff the same. There were some nights when it was loud from people coming in and out but on the whole it was such a great experience. I would say my only issue was that they didn't have someone consistently clean up the outside parking area . Guests weren't always so great about picking up their own dogs mess and then it was bad when it got covered in snow and you didn't know where you were walking . Haha A one night stay here would be great for you and your family ,we pushed it by staying 5 weeks but still thankful we had a clean , warm place to stay. read more

Really really disappointed. With a month stay they cleaned my room 2 times. My buddy had take trash out get replacement towels and toilet paper. Soap bars disappear after 2 days. So ya room service doesn't exist with extended stays. Towels so ruff felt like sand paper wiping my self dry. Honestly use fabric softener. Or buy new ones those towels were all ruff. And get a schedule so you know how many times you skip my room. I even ask if they can fix my mini fridge. It never happen so extra 80 wk for something that broken is awesome rip off. Tv volume only goes 30 other then that it's saying it's at 60 but it's only load as 30. 1wk they charge us 400 supposedly graduates coming to town. The motel was empty and I felt even more ripped off. Cons For motel there service is not there. Towels should be burn and replaced. Toilet paper shouldn't have be restock by guest. Other guest in motel should be playing football in room. Would done noise complaint but already seeing service done I knew nothing was going happen. We had none smoking area lol! From the moment I walked in the door I felt like I was being treated like a criminal. When checking in, apparently everyone that is staying in the room has to give their drivers license. Never heard of this. Of course I don't stay in many hotels except those near Disneyland and DW and I've never had to do that there. I was checking in at 3:30. My husband wouldn't be arriving until 5:30-6pm. I let the employee know this and she said she couldn't let me check in. So I asked, so I just have to chill for 1 1/2 hrs or so until my husband get here?? I was told that he could be on a "do not reserve to" list and that then neither one of us would be able to stay there. I guaranteed her that my husband was not on any such list. She said "Oh! You'd be surprised at how many people are on the list!" I asked how one might get put on said list and was told that ruining the linens or a bad customer review, being on the officers list of do not reserve to. I started looking around trying to figure out if I had jumped through some portal that took me to Detroit or something !! Was I still in Lehi, UT?? I started to take a look at myself. Did I really look that sketchy?? Standing there looking dumbfounded I said Well I'm not really sure what to do. I mean, I have my license and I can get you my husbands at 5:30. She said (with quite the attitude) that she guessed she could let me do it just this once but I needed to have my husband check in the minute he arrived. Ok... I live about 45 mins away from this hotel. I only needed a cheap room to stay in for one night so I could get to work fast the next morning. I really wasn't looking for anything fancy. That being said, this hotel was the very basic of basics. No refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer, coffee maker, etc. The tv was sat up high on top of a cabinet. I was a little shocked to find I had a washcloth and towel to tell you the truth! Haha! When my husband arrived I went out to meet him and take him to the front desk to check in. Praying the whole time that he wasn't on "the list" and we'd both be thrown out. (Apparently that's how it goes down) Got to the front desk and it was the same lady, same attitude. She didn't even recognize me, I had to explain why I was there talking to her. With a "here's your card back" motion we were on our way back to the room. While walking back we passed about 6 men "loitering" in the halls. A couple of them sitting on the floor. That seemed a little weird to me. Did they not have licenses?? Uneasy feeling pushed aside we carried on. The night passed by with little consequence. Leaving the next morning the same lady was still there!! We were thanked by another employee as we left but that's it. I was a little worried to post such a review for fear I would be put on "the list" but getting this information out there to anyone that may be interested I felt willing to take that chance. I doubt I would ever return. Customer service aside, I feel this is a 2 star hotel. Nothing at all fancy. There's a mattress to sleep on. Good luck!! I've stayed here several times on my drive from Colorado to California. Every time it was very nice and clean, loud yes but I always bring a sound machine. I don't know what happened but this place is disgusting now. I was here a year ago and can't believe the decline in everything. Bad service, understaffed, elevator was broken, smelled horrible and the hallways were dirty. Absolutely unacceptable and I'm appalled this place is even open. We stayed here 7/19/17 (We've stayed here on previous road trips but never wrote a review). Decent Motel 6 at a great price ($52 plus taxes). Room was a bit smallish, but we're only here 1 night as we drive north so no big deal. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. Bed was your typical (not cushy) Motel 6 mattress, with clean sheets (we always do a bug-check). Air conditioning worked GREAT. After only a few minutes running, it had the room quite chilled. Toilet tank is pressurized, so it flushed nice and hard. Shower had good pressure, and stayed hot the entire time I showered (it was a LONG shower). Folks at the front desk were great (the gal that was checking me in was joking around about bad customers - cracking me up!) This motel is located in a decent 'light industrial' neighborhood right off of I-15, very easy to get into. Stayed here twice, would definitely stay here again while traveling through Utah. read more

I was excited because when i called to make a reservation for this hotel they said they just barely got a new double queen room done. So we reserved it because we saw the reviews were pretty good. When we walked into the hotel room we were could smell cigarette smoke on the floor and everywhere in the room. I went downstairs to get a refund and go find another hotel to stay at and the front desk clerk said that "the entire floor is none smoking" While receiving a refund, two other hotel guests came down with problems with their room. One came down because the a/c was blowing hot in his room and another came down because she walked into her room and the beds were up against the wall. This is the poorest conditions for a hotel like this. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel by any means but in the hospitality industry this would be ranked pretty low on the standards scale even for a "cheap motel" . I am not sure how they manage to sell any rooms. I do not recommend you ever stay here. I recommend you go to the Quality Inn in Draper, Utah which is about 6 exits away on I-15 instead. It is far better quality for what you pay. It cost us only $20 more for the night to stay at the Quality Inn vs this lousy motel 6. Worth the extra money in my opinion. One of the better Motel 6s I've been to, and also usually among the lowest rates for a decent basic room in the greater SLC metro area. Was converted from some sort of other property so the rooms are a little different than the standard Mo 6. It is one that has the modernized rooms with faux-hardwood and bigger flatscreen TV though. Has interior doors and an old-school vertical air unit in the wall instead of the usual under-window jobs. One downside is that there aren't ventilation fans in the bathroom, so you have to crack the window to vent the room after a shower - and unfortunately they don't have bug netting. Other than that minor issue, though, the only weaknesses are the usual for a corporate-owned Mo 6 location - no shampoo/conditioner, no breakfast, and extra $3 charges for WiFi and a micro/fridge. Seems to offer weekly rates unlike some Mo 6s in the area, though I didn't ask what they were. Nightly rates usually seem to be around $45. Also a decent location, walking distance to Walmart/Walgreens and a ton of restaurants of every type/price range. It isn't close to any rail but there are two buses that stop right nearby that go both go to Lehi Station, and one of them also goes on to a TRAX blue line connection. read more

The desk person was so rude and caddy. making smart comments to us. then when i asked for a receipt. she kept saying the printer was not working but yet she gave the person in front of us a receipt. Both ice machines where broken. the vending machines where out of order. when we asked the night time staff about it he said "Ya this place is shitty!" the key card reader to enter the building was removed, any one from the street could walk into the building and get onto any floor. in the room we had a giant black window spider crawl out from under the bed. luckily by that time we where leaving. when we checked out the man who was working the desk was very unfriendly smurked when i again asked for a receipt of our stay but i did finally get it. the place is a nightmare to say the least. avoid 100% read more

Well, this is a Motel 6, so if you're expecting a whole lot you've either never traveled or have really low expectations. The whole reason why I stay at Motel 6 though is because the price. When I'm traveling I simply need a bed, a shower, and a bathroom. I don't need to pay $30 more for a softer bed or a Continental breakfast if I'm just going to be driving 18 hours the next day. That being said, this Motel 6 wasn't too bad. It was very well priced, clean, warm, and had internet. Internet is only available in the rooms with 2 beds but they cost the same, although I always feel like I'm wasting space that could be used by another traveler. At any rate the only 'complaints' I would say is the pillows are really flat, the non-smoking rooms had blankets that had cigarette burns in them (really, people, if you're staying in a non-smoking room, or any room, is it really that hard not to smoke or at least not smoke in the bed?). They provide bar soap but no shampoo which was a real drag as I ended up having to buy a bottle from the convenience store around the corner. Still, you get what you pay for and I was just happy to have a bed and a shower on that long trip. I would stay again in the future if I was doing another trip to the area, but I might bring in my own pillow in with me ;) read more

This is the nicest Motel 6 I've stayed at. You can only access the rooms via the main lobby which I like and the room itself was very clean. The wi fi was a bit of a pain to log into and the lobby had that Motel 6 funk we've all grown to know and love, despite that, check in and out was very easy and will stay here again. read more

This was my second stay at this particular Motel 6. So I have noticed that this one is actually filled with people who live there full time. Which makes me think they cater more to the residence of this motel than the passer through. I want to address the fact that the room I was given had no carpeting (which doesn't seem like a big deal until you find out that it was about 8 degrees outside) and the 2 hand towels they give in the bathroom that they call body towels are not enough to dry my body none the less the floor from the snow. When exiting the shower be very careful as there is a 3 inch metal stopper for the door that protrudes where you step out. I hit it once and thought that my foot ripped in half. I just bruised it really bad. During my 2 night stay on the second morning... Well at 5 am remember that it is 8 degrees outside. The fire alarm went off. I called to the front office and he pro-ceded to let me know that everyone is gathering outside in the parking lot... Again 8 degrees outside and snow sleeting rainy windy. Once we were aloud back inside I loaded up my car and headed to the front office to find out what happened and to let him know that is not the way to be woken up. He apologized and said a bit sassy that it was better than smoke inhalation. Not very good at customer service. I will be looking for a different place to stay the next trip up there. I have never had an experience like this at any Motel 6 I have stayed. read more

Hot rooms with broken AC. We called the front desk asking for a fan and he said they had none and to just open a window. So we open a window, it has no screen. We are on the first floor in a sketchy neighborhood. So that lasted about 5 mins. Room was dirty, dog food underneath the beds, hair (looks like beard hair or pubes) all over the bathroom, and even in the ice bin they keep on the counter. Noisy as heck. And our room smelled like when you walk into a veterinary clinic, gross. Oh and get this, you have to pay for WiFi, $2.99 a day (just to play on my phone). Just to give everyone a heads up before staying here. I was moving from Montana to California and stoped here for the night. I had my car and a small Uhaul trailer. Wake up the next morning my trailer is gone/stolen. I called the police to report it. Went inside to talk to the manager, guess what this hotel doesn't have cameras on the outside, just inside the building, they weren't helpful what so ever. They said you'll have to deal with it all on your own. The police officer said that this is one of the worst cities you can possibly stay in. I had everything inside that trailer and now it's stolen. I'm actually a fan of Jennifer that works magic in the midnight hour of the weekends. The room itself was perfectly adequate, clean with enough towels and a comfortable bed but Jennifer rocked. I had gotten in at around 3:00 after a long ass 9 hour drive and I had to be up the next morning at 8 so I was really looking forward to a chance to get some shut eye. I get there and my reservation is gone. Poof. Nada. I'm tired, I'm cranky and she explained that at midnight everyone that had a reservation was cancelled from the system and they were sold out. Trust me this is not what I wanted to hear. I got on the phone with Expedia to get my refund while Jennifer tried to find some room that may have missed her notice. She not only found me a room. Horrible experience. Made a reservation online AND PAID online. Called the hotel multiple times to make sure my reservation was in and that check in time was at 3 pm. We made it to the hotel at 4 pm, an hour past the check in time, yet we had to WAIT because there was NO ROOM AVAILABLE! So the lady up front says she's gonna put us in another room upgraded with fridge and microwave. We accept and when we made it to the room, oh surprise! Door was open, construction tools outside, beds with no sheets on, just a mess of a room, obviously not ready. We head back to the lobby and she goes "you might have to wait cause I don't have any other rooms" OH REALLY? AN HOUR AFTER CHECK IN TIME, WITH A FULL PAID RESERVATION, AND YOU HAVE NO ROOM AND EXPECT ME TO WAIT? Not acceptable, so who seems to be the manager comes around and they find us a THIRD room, once in our room and as we get comfortable, some employee opens the door, and it wasn't enough to see our bags at the entrance of the room, tv on, and shower running since one of us was taking a shower, none of that was enough to let this person know that there was ppl in the room, they actually felt the need to make a full entrance to our room, take a shameless look at us and walk out without even apologizing. Not even an hour in this hotel and we already hate it! The only thing that makes us feel better is knowing we're only staying ONE NIGHT, definitely changing to another hotel tomorrow.
