    Cora M.

Just needed a one-night stop in Petaluma and this was the most price effective but $190 for a motel 6 was a sticker shock for us. But the room was clean and the air conditioning worked great. However do not expect any thing extra at this hotel. No shampoo no lotions no conditioners two little slivers of soap. There were two of us and we had three towels total. We never turned on the television. But it was a good night's sleep even though the parking lot was noisy from time to time. My one complaint would be with housekeeping. Check out time was 11:00 a.m. but we would be gone well before that however at 9:00 a.m. someone was pounding on our door, approximately 15 taps. And they were not little taps they were loud taps. She was tapping the key on the door. My friend was in the shower and I was on my phone so I was not about to open up the door to a stranger. I looked out the peephole and just saw a short person in a white shirt walking away. A little while later I opened the door and man in a white shirt walked by. I asked him if he was the one who had knocked on my door and he said no it was housekeeping so obviously he had seen the lady. I walked over to her working in another room and asked her why she needed to knock on my door. She just looked at me and said I don't speak English. So to her surprise I replied in Spanish, asking her why did you knock on my door what's going on. Her eyes widened as she looked at me and she just said pardon me pardon me. I just said okay and walked away. I am quite sure she understood me and I don't appreciate having someone pounding on the door while I'm getting ready to check out 2 hours before checkout time. I am sure that people are still in bed at 9:00 so I just found this invasive and rude to be honest.

This hotel is disgusting. It has been rebranded as Park Inn by Radisson. Don't be fooled, none of the rooms look like the photos, there was actual shit in the toilet when I arrived and the surfaces were dirty. I left immediately.

The whole floor was like this

If I could give negative stars that is what this place deserves. Didn't even stay the night once seeing the room. Disgusting- don't let the photos on the website fool you. It was unclean and unsafe. Super gross and awful set up plus the staff was unhelpful and no manager on site and I cannot get them to call me back and resolve this. See photos

Was evacuated due to glass fire and this was the only place I could get for my family. My mother was almost shot from someone in the room next door to hers. They shot through the wall of her room 1 of the went through her head board while she was asleep and was less than 3 inches from hitting her in the head. 6 other shots were luckily stopped by the head board. He also shot 2 more rounds through his door, 1 went through the door of another room and into the wall. The other shot went across the motel into the second floor balcony. Manager seemed to not care. On top of this the rooms were extremely dirty, I refused to walk barefoot in them because of the sanitation. My socks were extremely black because of the sanitation. I imagine with covid-19 going on they would step there game up.

They don't do a good job cleaning the rooms. This will be our one and only stay! Disgusting!!!!

My room had a very loud air conditioner that made it impossible to sleep with it on. I had to turn it off, but then the room became stuffy and uncomfortable, so there was really no winning. The window in my room faced the parking lot and appeared to open onto a balcony, but it turned out to be a fake balcony. The faux balcony area was made of old, dirty wood and looked neglected and worn, which only added to the overall run-down feel of the room. For the price and brand name, this hotel really missed the mark. Until major updates are done, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The property feels worn and not well maintained, especially in the common areas. The ice and vending area was in rough shape and there wasn't a working ice machine, or the advertised vending machine. Front desk staff members were uncertain when it would open? Service was mixed. The front desk felt curt and unwelcoming, while the maintenance staff I encountered were kind. I usually like Sheraton properties, but this one felt run down and didn't meet expectations. I wouldn't stay here again.

Cons: - The hair dryer was missing from the bag labeled "hair dryer," and no one answered the phone at the front desk. We walked to the front desk to ask for a hair dryer and received a replacement. But once we got back to the room, that replacement didn't work and had to go back again for another hair dryer (which finally worked, yay~). - Shower water temperature didn't get very hot. Even at max temp, it was just barely hot. And I don't really take hot showers if it's not winter! The water pressure was okay, not weak but wouldn't call it strong either. - Room temperature was inconsistent. The thermostat wasn't accurate. I now travel with a portable thermometer (I'm a picky sleeper!), and the adjusting the thermostat would result in overshooting in either direction. It affected my sleep but I could also tell during waking hours. - House keeping didn't come clean one day. We came back in the evening so decided it was too late to call them to turnover the room. - Beds are too soft for firm mattress lovers. MT got some back pain by the end of our 4 night stay. - Toiletries downgraded from the last stay. Now they have Marriott-branded toiletries (not a big deal for me except for the lotion, since it didn't do much to hydrate my skin + tiny bottle). - The restroom door didn't slam shut this time, yay! Pros/improvements: - Still happy they have a relatively sizeable gym, which now has wipes! But there weren't any floor mats to use for floor exercises / stretching. - Big free parking lot. Never had issues finding a spot. There were also EV chargers available. - There were full sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles in the shower instead of tiny disposable ones-- hooray! Would be great if there was a full sized lotion bottle as well. Service was nice when we spoke to the front desk in person on checking in and for a hair dryer. There were too many slip ups to call this a smooth stay. We stayed here since we try to stick with the Marriott line of hotels, but I may try out another hotel next time.

It's a quick drive to downtown and most of the surrounding area, easy if you're exploring the wineries nearby. Rates were fair for the modern and clean quality of the place. They have a large free lot with no issues with parking. There's a pool and hot tub outside too. Check in and check out was easy, all the staff was friendly. The bartender was also very nice when I asked for glassware for the room. The room itself was good - clean, modern, nice view. This is a sufficient place to meet your needs if staying in Petaluma. It's central but requires driving everywhere. I would stay here again.

I had a long drive to get here and really appreciated that they let me check in when I showed up about an hour and a half before Check In Time. I understand that's not always possible. But they made it happen. I love the Free Parking. Places that nickel and dime you with charging for parking piss me off. Quality Inn Petaluma - Sonoma don't play like that. And the rooms here? They're clean. And the beds? Comfortable! OK, the pillows leave a lot to be desired, but I knew that was the case and brought my own pillow from home. Now you know too. The TV is small, but serviceable. The internet is free. There's an outdoor swimming pool (open seasonally) and a jacuzzi (open year-round). One of the things I love most about this property is that the rooms have a good-sized Mini Fridge and also a small Microwave. Apparently for comic effect the rooms also have a little black plastic coffee maker that looks like it was purchased for $5 at a WalMart Black Friday sale in 2006. I mean, who in the world is still using hotel room coffee makers to make coffee in their rooms? Ew! Especially when there's free coffee and breakfast in the morning in the breakfast nook next to the Check in Desk. The breakfast was evidently way more appealing to other guests than it was to me. Nevertheless, I genuinely appreciated it, even if I thought the selections and the quality were just kind of OK. The only really negative aspect of the property is it seems to be noisy AF during the day.Ugh! What's all the shouting about? I'm tryin to take a nap before the show here. Fortunately the noise wasn't a problem at night. It was quiet and peaceful after the sun went down. That's why I'll be back next Summer! I found the carpet to be quite grungy though, I slept comfortably surprisingly. They provided enough towels, the bathroom was clean, plenty of hot water and found the fan was a bit loud. Again, this place kept me safe, was able to get great rest and I was able to request a late check out at 1 pm with no issues. Front desk lady was very pleasant. The complementary breakfast was wonderful - blueberry muffins, scrambled eggs, fresh waffles, bananas, cereal, coffee. Oh and plenty of parking even with late night check in. Thank you.
