I've stayed in some shady Motel 6s. This one is not! It is very well kept. It is pet friendly but has laminate floors so it doesn't smell "put friendly" or have hair and allergens hanging around. Bed was as comfy as any hotel bed. Staff were very nice. The only Con would probably be the walls at paper thin. Not a big deal as our neighbors were quiet and I sleep with ear plugs anyway, but I can see how it might bug some people. I'd definitely stay here again. read more

staff was very helpful and friendly. I came in late after a long drive and needed a room with a view of my car i got a room with perfect view. The room was very clean i wanted non smoking but all they had was smoking and the room did not smell like smoke at all. I walked in thinking i would smell smoke but all i could smell was lavender in the air i will be staying here again for sure. The good part of this motel is the staff is very nice, friendly, helpful, and quick to solve issues. The rooms are small but cute and the air conditioner and heat work really well. The motel is set back enough that you can't hear the traffic at all so it was very quiet. This could be a good place to stay however I GIVE IT TWO STARS FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: We found a hair in the bed sheets and another long hair in the rolled up towel. There are none of the amenities you usually expect such as the little shampoo, wash, blow dryer etc. It comes with two small soap bars and four disposable cups and that is literally all. We were told that's why they stay so cheap (we paid $92.00 per room). The room looked clean (other than the hairs in two separate rooms) but after walking on the laminate floor with my socks on they were black with dirt within a few minutes so they do not mop and considering the virus situation if i were you I would spray the room down with disinfectant. The towels are cheap and rough. We had to get help upon entry and on a later return with the door keys because they wouldn't work for either room. You will not get much of a view...we were overlooking a trailer park and the other side is a diner. And finally the rooms were not ready at the 3pm check in time. we had to leave and come back at 430pm. I wouldn't stay here again. If I were the hotel owners i would invest in some wet jet mops and provide some little shampoos at least...and maybe get a wash machine that cleans the sheets and towels better and most of all I want to remind them that there is a pandemic happening and they really need to follow the CDC recommendations. read more

About average considering its motel 6...small 12x18 room, cigarette smoke wafting in at times. Just don't consider the room your home and you'll be fine for a night or two. We reserved on a whim,on a street fair weekend, everything within walking distance of "whiskey row" was booked, so we consider ourselves fortunate. read more

Cigarette ashes on the floor of a no smoking room, between bed and night table. Smelled like there was a smoking convention in the room. Two plywood chairs. Zero and I mean zero ammenities Parking was easy next to the room. The bathroom seemed clean even with the burn marks on the Shower, wish there was a tub. Not a place I would recommend to anyone, there are much better values out there. read more

I must say that I was not optimistic about a hotel that costs $45 when all the other accommodations were double that, but I was comfortable here. The bathroom is very newly renovated (shower only). The room is small. The beds are double, not queen. And the $2.99 Wi-fi charge is per device (though the manager says soon it will be per room). read more

Not a 4 star, but I believe you have to adjust your rating based on the place. For an inexpensive motel this place is great. Clean, quiet, and located close to Whiskey Row. We tend to favor Motel 6 because we travel with our dog quite often, and have come to expect what we received at this motel. read more

I booked this hotel on a whim for my birthday. I liked the price and didn't see the reviews until after I had booked it. I was on a budget and still wanted to be on vacation, so I went for it anyway. I won't lie, the reviews on yelp scared me. But we took a chance despite the bitter reviews and, all I can say about this establishment is nice things. The room was spotless, the service was accommodating and you really can't beat the price. Don't get me wrong, it's not the most fancy place to stay, I'm sure people with high standards would look down on it. But if your just looking for a safe, clean, cheap place to sleep for the night I would recommend this place. Honestly, I'll be back because you can't beat the price and the location is in the right area for downtown. read more

Payed for a week here half cash half card and got kicked out due to something my roommate did at the time and they only gave me $83 out $512 I paid and was rude about it and took forever just to get me $83 dollars back and the $300 in cash I paid they act like they never got it or had any records of it I called many times about a full refund every time the price would change until the last time I called the manager told me they gave me my money which was only $83 out $512 and said they did not owe me anything so I advise any one that's decided to stay here USE A CARD for the full amount so you have proof read more

This isn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in but it's definitely a contender. Stains on the bedcover, looked as if someone had sat on it with their bare ass, who knows, it might just have been chocolate but I wasn't about to do the sniff test to find out! No coffee in the rooms, you have to walk to the office if you want coffee. No tissues in the room, I'm a guy so I can live without tissues but my wife? Not so much. I understand tissues are one of the main items in a girl's survival kit. We stayed three nights so expected our room to be serviced twice. It wasn't. How do you just miss a room completely? So I had to go to the office to get clean towels, cups, toilet roll. The floors are laminate. I can see from the hotels point of view why this would be a good idea but as a guest on the ground floor be prepared to listen to those above you. We had some construction workers above us, I thought they were rearranging the furniture. And of course they get up early. No smoking in the rooms so all the smokers stand outside blowing smoke which has a habit of drifting into our room. Stinking. The exterior of the place looks like it could do with a good power wash. Stay somewhere else, honestly, if it was the only place left in town I would sleep in my car. I forgot to mention the pubic hairs in one of the beds. If the sheets are changed why would there be pubic hairs? read more

I'm giving this place one star because it won't let me leave zero Stars it was terrible I stayed there I paid for three nights they check me out on the second night and called me into the office and told me that I had to pay for an extra night even though they're the ones to check me out saying that oh no the money you paid was for two nights not three they didn't know what they were talking about I was almost left to sleep in my car it's a good thing I have some cash on me and they still have not given me the money back at all there's only three channels to their TV three channels they will tell you out there's something wrong with their cable but there's nothing wrong they won't do anything about it there's only three channels and it's just a very disorganized very very bad place do not stay here.. Would give it zero stars if I could. I don't like being robbed of my money. Went to the Motel 6 website and made a reservation. When I arrived at the hotel I was told that the room that I requested was not available and was placed in a different room and was charged a higher price. I had used my American Express to hold the room but paid cash for the stay. I was told to speak with the manager Ashley the next morning and she would take care of the refund. Ashley proceeded to tell me that the website was wrong and they gave me a better deal than I should've received. She would not honor the rate even while I was showing her the confirmation email. All she could say was that I'm not giving you a refund and she was going to call Motel 6 and tell them that they have a problem on the website. Very poor management style. I average about 120 nights on the road a year and I am a titanium level with Marriott but since they were sold out I stayed here. Bad move. If you stay here, hold your hands up because they will rob you. read more

I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. We are moving to Prescott from California but our place was not ready to move in. So we paid for a week here as it was affordable. Well we got a room went inside and the first thing we noticed were the stained comforters. We then pulled back the blankets and sheets and found more stains along with people's hair! And then we walk in the bathroom and there was poop in the toilet! So we asked for another room and it was the same way minus the poop! So gross would NOT recommend staying here! read more

So, we stayed down here last night and when we got ready for bed-pulled the sheets back and in both beds we found hella.. I mean hella hair. So we layed ontop of our sheets. After laying down we could clearly see a toothbrush under one of the beds. We all checked our bags and had our own toothbrushes so clearly it wasn't ours. Called the front desk and spoke to a woman who told us she couldn't do anything for us. So we came this morning to check out and the man at the front desk Tony, and an old man in the back of the office came up to ask us what we expected them to do. They were both extremely rude and unapologetic for the inconvenience smirking, shaking their heads, rolling their eyes and just flat out being disrespectful. My boyfriend and I were polite and kind to them while they remained defensive and irritable. The old man ( probably the GM ) then efficiently gave us a whole whopping 10% off! :D how exciting. No. we were still very upset and a whole $8 did nothing to make up for our inconvenience and terrible service. I pray this location gets new management because it has great potential with cleanliness and a nice staff. read more

Room was dirty, covered in hair, and smelled of cigarettes (even though our room was NO smoking). No carpeting, and walking around the room bare foot, my feet were dirty. Cigarette burns on the top cover of the beds, directly through to the other blanket and sheet. Besides long, black hair on the inside of the bed, I found a piece of candy stuck to the underside on my blanket, while IN my bed. Only reason I give it a one star is that we could shower in a newly modeled bathroom, and watch a little TV before falling asleep. (Had to buy Frebreeze so we could breathe in the room). read more

Absolutely NEVER staying at this hotel again. I'd rather sleep in my car as my car is cleaner and more family friendly. My family stayed at this hotel last night and we booked all three rooms months in advance and paid for our rooms in advance. When we arrived at check in time our rooms were not ready and they still gave us keys to the rooms anyway... the rooms were gross and smelled horrible even after they said they finally finished the rooms. That isn't even the worst of it though, the beds were hard as a rock and my children and I were woke up several times throughout the night by tweakers fighting outside our room all night long. At my sisters room the same tweakers were slamming doors and yelling curse words to each other and waking up her and her kids. At my parents room my dad was out side smoking a cigarette and some drug dealer tried to proposition him to buy dope... seriously people this is supposedly a " family friendly" hotel and all we saw was that it was a tweaker collection spot. Next time my family will spend the extra money to get into a place where my family can sleep peacefully and tweaker free. read more

I've stayed at this motel for the past 2 years so I had no problem returning for a 3rd year. I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed with this location. The room they gave me and my fiancé smelled nasty, the mini fridge hadn't been cleaned, there was only 1 bar of soap, the other bar was behind the sink with hair on it, the toilet paper wasn't on the toilet roll dispenser, the sheets had hair all over them as if they hadn't been changed. We told the office and all they did was give us another room. They didn't sound surprised, shocked or even sympathetic of what they heard. They didn't offer to give us a discount or refund our money. Yes, they did give us another room but it's still unacceptable that the other room hasn't been cleaned. read more

My experience at this Motel 6 was absolutely horrible! The first room I was given reeked of cigarette smoke. There were a ton of cigarette burns in the blankets on both beds. All the rooms are non-smoking but apparently this location does not care about this. I have bad allergies and had to call to see if we could get a new room. They gave me a new room but did not apologize for the inconvenience at all. The next room still selt like smoke but not as bad. I had to get an air freshener from my car and put on the AC. Oh and there were cigarette burns in the blankets in the new room too! I had a headache the entire time I was there from the smoke smell and noise. The people in the room next to us were smoking pot. There were kids running around in the middle of the night. The staff was extremely unattentive and the cleanliness of the 2 rooms I saw was absolutely atrocious! So better customer service, new sheets/blankets, doing something about people smoking in the rooms and cleaning the rooms to reasonable standard. NOT WORTH THE $100 FOR ONE NIGHT! I have stayed at many Motel 6s around the US and this is the worst one and the most I have paid for 1 night. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE if cigarette smoke bothers you. We were told we had a non smoking room, well it reeked of cigarette smoke, had an ashtray in it and had cigarette burns on the comforter. Literally the whole property smelled of cigarettes. When i asked the manager in duty why there were ashtrays in non smoking rooms he replied it was as a fire safety precaution, if anything caught on fire you could throw it in the ashtray. W As we walked by other rooms we heard tons of yapping dogs too. We were moved to a second room that smelled less of cigarettes. You get what you pay for although the bathroom smelt of smoke and we were put in a non smoking room it wasn't too bad. We have two dogs so the laminate flooring was a plus so the room didn't smell like dog and if any accidents happened it would have been easy to clean up. The smokey odor was only in the bathroom so it was likely coming from another room. Other than the bathroom smelling it was really nice and I would likely stay again. read more

Worst stay ever. Beds hard as rocks, no hair dryer, no complimentary bottles of shampoo/conditioner/lotion. Non smoking room smelled so bad of cigarette smoke. Housekeeper was supposed to make up the bed but simply pulled the covers up, didn't even put the pillows where they belong. Such a disappointment . One pro is it is in close proximity to downtown but so are other motels. read more
