The first thing one may notice upon entering is that there is wonderful clean, fresh natural smelling environment! My daughter wanted to meet to buy a rotisserie chicken saying that it's just delicious. They would be closing in 30 minutes, so there are so many employees here just cleaning, & sanitizing everything Mother's market seems to be one of those places in my opinion that I for one take for granted. But appreciate immensely. Robert in the produce helped us, very nice employee. The isles are always large for wheelchairs, motorized scooters, etc. since especially we're near Laguna Woods Senior citizen area. I heard that this place is really popular on senior day. Not sure if that's Tuesday or Wednesday but everything is 15% off. Hopefully, I'll be able to visit this place more as I intend to eat healthier and fresher.

The smoothies never taste the same twice, and that's NOT a compliment. I just paid $16 for a smoothie that is supposed to have banana in it, and I do not taste any banana, not even a pinch, I think it was absolutely left out of my drink. Now I've got this giant flavorless smoothie to force down. The last time I got the same smoothie and it was so incredibly imbalanced with the flavors it was insane. Are you people using recipes for your smoothies and actually measuring out the ingredients? I do not think that you are. I think you guys just through stuff into the blenders and hope for the best. There is just no way recipes are being used because the smoothies just never taste right. They are so expensive and they never taste correctly made. Ever. This is the last time I'm going to the juice bar. So disappointing!!!! Addendum: had to throw the entire drink away. It was inedible. Tasted like ice and peanut butter, that's it.

Unfortunately, I could not find the Vietnamese Coffee I was looking for (bummer) but I did get to try their infamous sandwiches. I got the Argentine Sandwich and the Hot Honey Chicken Club. I would totally buy the Argentine 10/10 in my book. The hot honey is a 5/10 and I wouldn't purchase unless they change something to make it spectacular. Looking forward to trying many more sandwiches. Oh also, if your food has a percent coupon off please let your cashier know. We bought cookies for $7 and we forgot to mention it therefore we paid $7 instead of $3.50 oh well! However, they really need to step up the quality of staff they hire for the pizza bar (the manager or a more seasoned employee is usually at the cold deli section). On one recent visit, we placed an order for one pizza and when we dutifully came back 15 minutes later, there was literally no one at the pizza bar and one pizza was in the oven and we watched as it got progressively more and more charred. Finally, another customer got the attention of another employee who was shocked and apparently the pizza person "had an emergency" and "didn't tell anyone". So our pizza was never made and the employee just ran off with a pizza baking to literally ash. Fast forward to another incident and it's 1PM and nearly all of the self service options are empty. We ask the pizza person if we could just order an entire pizza and was told 45-50 minutes. So needless to say we left because we definitely didn't plan on shopping for an hour just for a pizza. Here's a picture of the embarrassingly empty self serve section. I did inquire if they'll be stocking more self service pizzas and that was another 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile they were still taking more phone orders. However, I'm glad this experience told me they accepted phone orders. Now I'll just order at home before leaving the house so it's all ready when we get there.

The main attraction are blueberries and mulberries and you could find blackberries raspberries tangerines avocados also. There's a small parking lot at the end of the driveway, but it was full so we parked down the hill and walked about five minutes. There was a line to pay and we got four cartons and we filled two with blueberries and two with mulberries. The mulberries are in the front on a slope and the low hanging fruit gets taken first, so I had to reach further up and pull branches down to get my share. My wife filled two cartons with blueberries. All the fruit was very good and delicious. There were lots of people there having a good time I think we'll be back soon later in the season.

My little toddler loves those things and so do I - I keep putting this place in my head cause I need a refill of those delicious berries! Also got a bag of avocados for $5 and man, these things are BEAUTIFUL. Had to wait a few days for them to ripen, but they are some of the best avocados we've had. Also for those people who don't prefer to deal with cash - they take Venmo!

The best part? I get to refill the containers instead of throwing them away. How amazing is that? Christy and Catherine are so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable.
