Used to be my go-to location because of the wide selection of produce but up until these past visits of collecting my benefits, the milks that we have been getting are spoiled and have curds! It happened last month and now this month. I went in to turn in the milks since I got them 2 days ago but they tried to say that it was my fridge setting wrong yet it doesn't happen to any of our milks bought from Northgate weeks ago and they were also getting calls of this issue as well from other customers, Ridiculous. I always have a great experience at WIC. However, i had to bring my toddler in with me to grab her food and ANYBODY with kids understand how tough it is shopping with a toddler. My toddler is vegetarian, and i am a black mother. Beans are her primary source of protein. Please, please, start asking your customers if they want can beans or bag beans. Especially because there are no returns or exchanges. Now my toddler has no beans because i wasn't asked can or bag beans. read more

I highly appreciate this Mother's Nutritional Center, because despite COVID, it has still managed to stay in business. The times I have gone I notice right away how much attention they put on cleaning and sanitizing themselves and the equipment as often as possible. I had the pleasure to come into the store on a business level and I was very pleased with the staff working here. The store is super clean and well organized, the vegetables are top notch. Now that MNC is open to the public definitely picked out some beauties (I dare you to find such nice looking tomatoes that look as good as organic ones). All food items are nicely sorted by baby food, vegetables, juices, cereals, etc. it is really nicely sorted. The children can come and play with stationary puzzles. Depending on the time of day (not busy in the morning), the wait is not too bad but there's an option to place an order with an app. The option allows people to place their order and when they get to the store, everything is ready except dairy without the need to wait in line. All the employees are friendly and very helpful, they bring your groceries to your car and help you get on your way. Plenty of parking in this location and floor was spotless, clean walls and nice decor. Im impressed! There's even small and healthy snacks for children at very good prices, it beats going to a grocery store and looking for items and the right brand/size of authorized WIC item. There are sales and discounts on those fresh veggies which are so nice and fresh, really the quality compares what I've seen in some higher-end stores. I'm glad I stopped by! read more

I started coming to this store because of the express App if you put your order online it would be easier for pick up no waiting in line. I did my order today's thru the express App and when I arrive they told me to grab a number I told them that I had an App order they told me they change the process. I will not be coming to any of these chain stores because they change the express App process. They still have the express App no waiting in line they should take off the signs. read more

Ok, First time for me at mothers been the dad it was a whole new experience so I walk in and they asked me if I was picking up vegetables I said yes so they told me to go ahead and grave them from the fridge right in front of me.... I suppose they keep vegetables else where and I didn't see them, so I go ahead and grab a shopping cart !!! How dare I !!!! I wast told in a commanding voice "sr you can't use those, those are only for our own use when we help you out of the store, use the Orange hand baskets" since I have my 8 moth old with me and no stroller I need a shopping cart right ?? Wrong another team member came to the rescue and pointed out to stupid me the Orange baskets, so I asked don't u think I'm gong to have a hard time picking vegetables and holding my pack and son on the other hand ???? Her answer was killer !!! "Oh I guess you are right" so they LET ME use a shopping cart, well damn shopping cart seat is tied up WTF??? they lock tie them down so you can't seat your kid!!! WTF??? It might have not been so bad if it weren't for the cashier with her "I'm too popular and cute to be working here attitude" so needless to say I'm not coming back, try the one store in bellflower blvd just south of the 91fwy they were awesome and Tons of help!!!! read more

Why is irrigate entire I come here and get my milk,bring it home and the same night I prepare myself a delicious cereal theMILk is rotten??? The "Swiss"grand that they use is so bad,this milk goes bad in a matter of seconds... This review is mostly about the app they have so useless first it was meant to skip the line. Now you have to take a number just like the people who walk in without an app order. I made an app order to pick up for 5pm that day got there maybe 10 min early. I was told I needed a number they were on number 9 I was 14 I didn't get out of the store until 530 very disappointing could of just went to the regular grocery store or smile food they are also great and will be out way sooner. So in smaller words app is useless and they are always so busy. read more
