2/4/23 No drama here! Went straight to the meat dept, no tomahawk either!! DaNg! Picked up the last two packages of ribeye and darted out to pay. We we're about to go to the next Grocery Outlet when I realized, why not ask if there's any more at the back? Hubby asked the cashier & he immediately communicated through his mouthpiece/radio (microphone) to one of his coworkers. In less than a minute, we walked towards the back & another employee was opening a box of ribeye, picked out 2 more packages & we're on our way to pay again. Saw Lakanto pancake mix for less than half that Amazon would've charged-got that too!! No muss, no fuss!

After browsing through the area newspaper, the ad for this newly opened markets grand opening stated it would continue until 10 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2017. Curiosity overcame me to see what this market looked like inside and what products they offered. They replaced the TJMaxx that closed, and the interior is very large. It's not a warehouse style or huge in that sense but I appreciate the wide aisles and bright lighting from the tall ceiling. I had a couple of items in mind to purchase but found a lot more items. They accept major credit cards and their readers accept cards with a chip. You'll discover the short expiration dates on a few items so check for that if you prefer longer expiration or best by dates. Majority of the items have longer dates. Friendly staff and cashier, almost everything you'll need (products may come and go depending on availability) and great prices if their shelf tags are showing accurate savings. Congratulations and welcome to the neighborhood!

Best grocery outlet near me. It's even better than the Long Beach one which is claimed "better". All grocery outlets are good but the Paramount surpasses them. I was on a quest in finding healthy alternatives and I've found brands I would have never buy at their original price. Their body wash section is lovely. I've tried so much I have recommended items to others especially their face serums/oils. I found cereals and pop tarts flavors I wouldn't expect. Bring back the STRAWBERRY CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH CEREAL!!!! During fall season bet to find pumpkin flavor everything. Halloween also brings out cute candy/snacks. I always have kids in my block remember our house for giving alot of "good candy". Currently Spring has brought out cute garden/house decoration ideas. I've bought tons of led lights.

Bad service and poor communication…read more I've been trying to catalogue my MTG collection lately. I drove 40 min to get to this shop because they have a machine that scans your cards. I paid the shop to rent the machine and waited for 2 hours. Then the staff told me "We made a mistake setting this up. We can't give you the scanned info, but leave your cards behind and your email address, and we can send them over. You'll just need to scan this thing we send you." I was uncomfortable leaving my cards behind because they're important to me. But I didn't want to walk away empty-handed. So I decided to trust them and I left my cards behind. I didn't hear anything for 4 days. I had to call them and they said "Oh the employee you were talking to got sick. If you want to pick up your cards you can do that though." I asked "How about scanning my cards?" and they said "We'll message the sick employee and call you back to let you know what he says". I waited 3 more days and they didn't contact me at all. I realized they weren't going to reach out to me to resolve the issue, so I had to drive down to the store to demand my cards back. I don't know who the person running the back of the shop is. Maybe the manager. Maybe the owner. All I knew is that they had context on the whole situation and knew that I had returned to get my cards. They didn't bother to come over to talk to me. They didn't even give me eye contact. They didn't make even a single attempt at improving the situation. Not even an offer for store credit. Not even a sorry. They just shrugged and yelled across the room "machine's broken". Then they went back to puttering around and left another employee to deal with me. This other employee had no context on the situation. All she could do was hand me a cash refund and give me a confused "Sorry...?" I was treated like I was an annoyance. Someone who'd go away eventually if you ignored them. Not a respected customer who just wanted to do business. I'm not mad that the machine was allegedly broken. I'm only slightly mad that the employees aren't trained on how to use the machine. I'm frustrated that I paid for a service and they didn't bother seeing the job through to the end. They didn't communicate when they decided to give up. I trusted them with my personal card collection and they betrayed that trust. I don't even know if I have all my cards back, but I'll never know. Save yourself the stress.

Anyway, stopped in to see what they had to offer. First some prices were marked at an outrageous ticket price only to be marked down with a certain percentage. Case in point they had a Lacoste bath towel marked at $50.00 @ 50% off so that would make it $25.00, you can get the same towel at Ross for like $7.99. I did however find a good deal I got 14 washcloths (Target Brand) for $4.00. I continued to scan the store for more deals and basically comparing prices. I left with about $45.00 worth of items that I would consider basic and no real deals. I would for sure go back only because I love to hunt for deals.

If you spend 50$ or over on one item then expect there to be something wrong with the item... I bought a small jumphouse for a good chunk of money and it ended up having a hole in it. I couldn't return it because they only have a week to go return. On top of that I bought a soda stream machine for 60$ which had a different C02 bottle in the box. So I couldn't even use it. Both of these items should not have even been on the fucking floor. Why are they selling defective items and only allowing a week to return. People have stuff to do and can't check the items then and there. This was ridiculous don't buy anything that is over 50$ unless you know it's worth it or working. Make sure you're able to return.

I enjoy finding random things at places like this, and being able to fill a cart for $20 is an excellent deal. When I got there, however, the deal had changed to filling a bag for $20, which is still a very good deal. Upon entry of the building I noticed that the staff was already argueing with other customers. When I asked for a bag, the owner (Rosie) told me, "No, no deal." She pretended not to speak English, even though I've spoken to her in perfect English numerous times. She even told me twice on previous occasions that she is learning Arabic, which I speak a little of. The nephew was apologetic and didn't know what to do. I had only asked about the bags once, and a few other people were asking as well. Minutes later, the owner's husband came charging out of the back office and had a complete meltdown for some unknown reason. He stormed out yelling and swearing that there was no deal today and told his nephew, "I'm the boss here--no one tells me what to do." I then asked him, "If that's not the deal for today, what is?" He wouldn't look at me and just kept yelling that there was no deal today and that the store should be shut down at 10 a.m. He even tried to close the rolling yard gate on us and our cars in the parking lot, but after fumbling with it for a few minutes, he gave up and went back to yelling at random people. I have no idea what his meltdown was about, but the man was unhinged. Oh, and did I mention he was carrying on his hip as well? So I wasn't about to argue with him. I put my cart back and drove away. I will never return, and I warn others to be cautious of this place.

All of it is listed on-line on biglots.com, though part of the fun is finding the deals while physically browsing. It's not a grocery store, but they surprisingly have a lot of non-perishable food items. The problem is that the prices are just as high as what a drug store would charge for the convenience...$5.99 for a 10 pack of soda...not good. THe good deal is when they bought a lot of something that normally would not be in a drug store, and would only be in small quantities at a grocery store. An example were all different types of Bear Creek Dry soup mix....have had this many times (Costco sells it), and it's really good. They had boxes of this stuff sitting out, and the price was $3.99 (which is a lot less than normal ($6.49) price...though Vons is selling on sale right now for $3.99...it has to be related somehow. Of course, this will disappear once they run out. The rule might be...anything they will carry indefinitely (soda, cleaner, snacks) will be at full price. They use a queuing system like Marshalls, one long queue winding through shelves stocked with impulse-buy items, with a few manned registers at the end...so you don't have to worry about picking the wrong line.
